Musei was startled by the girl's sudden question.He lost his balance and fell off the monkey bars.Before he hit the ground, he did a flip mid-air and landed on his feet infront of the girl.He stood up straight,revealing that he was barely and inch or so taller than her.He grinned at her and tilted his head.His fuzzy white ears flicked from the sound of crickets in the background.He liked to chase crickets but that would have to wait.He sensed that she was confused and MUsei could understand why.He was a strange guy, no doubt there.He shrugged at her question and continued to stare at her with his childish pinkish-purple eyes.

Stella stepped back from the startle of the boy landing infront of her."Um..."Scratching the back of her head she rocked her feet alittle.Her fluffy tail flicked behind her as her ears perked up slightly.She didn't really know what to say.Stella plaayed with the end of her shirt then looked up.'Strange boy..doesn't say a word...then just stares at me.' "Im Stella..."She finally blurted out.Looking in every direction she fiddled with her braids.She was slightly nervous and tryed to convince herself not to be.Nodding in her head she gave a smile.Extending her hand for him to shake it a shiver of fear went down her back.She didn't react to it and just kept her hand out.

He bowed his head and took her hand.A rush of fear ran from her hand and into him.He didn't know why she was afraid.Was she scared of him?He was perfectly harmless, but she might not think so.He let go of her hand and rested his own to his side.Musei looked down and around.He kneeled down and picked a small flower.Standing back up, he handed the flower to Stella as a token of friendship.He hoped that she would take it.Please....his mind almost begged.He didn't want her to be afraid of anything, especially him.

The word 'please' rang in her mind.Yes she had read his mind...but the boy was so quiet she figured it would help.Why he would say please she wasn't sure but took the flower anyway."Thank you...but um...please?"She quesioned his thoughts.She hoped he didn't run away or get mad because she read his mind.Stella grinned her teeth and awaited to see his response.'Why would he say please?...in his mind no less...'She hadn't thought him strange anymore just....mysterious.He hadn't said anything or even made a sound.He seemed older than her yet her acted much like a child.She was rather confused but deciced asking was the only way to find out anything about him.

Musei seemed taken aback by her questioning.He was glad that she took the flower but still.Her confusion was so obvious to him, but he didn't know how to explain it to her.C...Can you read my mind?his thoughts questioned her.He shifted uncomfortably as he awaited her answer.Should she say yes then so many things would become easier for him,but if not, well, he still had his note pad and pen if all else failed.His fluffy white tail swished back and forth playfully as he stood infront of her.This girl was very strange to him, but he liked strange.

"Yes...I-Is that a bad...cause I can stop if you want...but wait, why aren't you talking out loud...and not just in your head?"Stella questioned once more.So far he would only speak through his mind.'Maybe...he can't talk....'Still she didn't want to assume something about him if it wasn't true.Walking past him she brushed her skirt under her legs and sat down on one of the bars.Her hands reached up and grabbed onto the bars beside her.Tilting her heas she awaited his answer, or his thought...what ever came.'He seems nice enough...maybe he is just shy..though I am shy to and I still talk...'

He shook his head.Not bad at all.Very helpful in fact.he thought-spoke to her.He shook his head again when she asked him why he wasn't speaking.I can'tspeak.I'm a mute.He opened his mouth and revealed something to her that he had never shown anyone.Part of his tongue was missing.Thus it was nearly impossible for him to speak.Sure he could make out some letters but thatwas too much trouble.He closed his mouth and hoped that he hadn't scared Stella with his birth defect.

Stella gave a nod.She hadn't really shown much expression towards the fact of he had no tounge.If her sister was here she would of freaked and fainted or something.Luckily she was a naturally calm person and wasn't freaked easily...though there was one thing that terrified her.....'Bees....'Stella thought to herself."So whats your name?"She asked.Suddenly a light buzzing was heard around her ears.Stella froze completley.The only sign of movement was her ears flattening and the flutter of her eye lashed.Giving a gulp a large bubble bee flew around her head.Almost instantly shse gave a small yell and hopped up running behind the boy.

((O.o bees????))
Before Musei could asnswer her,he found that she was running and hiding behind him.He looked around to see what had frightened her so and saw a fat little bee buzzing about.He grinned and stared at the bee.It hovered there infront of him as if in a trance.Suddenly it turned around and zoomed off.It's okay now.She's gone.he thoughtt-said to Stella.By the way, my name's Musei.Please to meet you Stella.He looked back over his shoulder at her and gave a goofy childish grin.

((Yes...she had a bad experience with bees when she was little!))
Giving an awkward smile she slowly krept away from behind Musei."Eheh...it was really big...and um black...so yeah..."Shifting her eyes to make sure everything was safe she walked over to the monkey-bars again.Climbing up she eventually made it to the top.Slippiing her legs in between the bars she set her hands back.Her tail was slightly curved around the bar under her to keep her balance as her ears perked up.Looking down at Musei she tilted her head."Stop grinning like Im crazy or something! It was really big!!And they sing and stuff...so there!"Playfully sticking her tounge out at him she looked up at the sky.She accually was making a friend...which was very surprising since she had only ever had one real friend.

He stopped grinning and looked up at her.Silly girl, afraid of a bug.he thought.Musei would of stuck out his tongue too but of course, he didn't have one.Instead he scrunched his nose at her and then looked back down.He scanned the ground and found a small rock.Musei kneeled down and picked it up.He threw it at the tree nearby.THe rock bounced off of it and landed not far from it.Two apples fell out of the tree just as the rock landed.He smiled and walked over to the tree.Musei picked up the apples and headed back over to the monkey bars.He lifted one of the apples up to Stella.Here ya go. he thought as he bit into his own apple.
((Kinda gross now that I think about it.He has no tongue!Or atleast not all of his tongue!))

Smilling she reached down for the apple.Bitting iinto it she chewed it cheerfully.She had been hungry but didn't bother to look for a place to eat.Swallowing the piece she looked down at Musei."It was a really big bug..."She muttered down to him, still trying to explain her freak out.Reaching her her back pocket she pulled out a small comb.Her purple and white tail layed on her lap as she began to comb out the fur.Her tail was very fluffy so things got rattled in it easily.Finding a twig she furrowed her eyesbrows and threw it over her shoulder.Her braids began to annoy her slightly so reached her free hand up she began to undo them.

He shrugged.Whatever you say Stella.He decided to drop the subject of her fear of bees.Everyone was afraid of something.He leaned up against the monkey bars and looked up at the little cat girl.She was busily grooming herself.Cats and their grooming....he mentally laughed.His tail swished and his ears twitched.He took another bite out of his apple and swallowed it.He couldn't taste it but that didn't bother him.He could tell the apples were good by the feelings he was getting fromStella.She enjoyed her treat and so did he.

Miu and Yume ran onto the playground.
Miu looked around, her cat ears flicked back and forth. She always heard her sister's thought about being mute and how it was so terrible, even after getting used to it. Yume what's wrong with being mute? We can't help it so there should be nothing wrong with it.
Yume looked at Miu and shook her head. Being mute is horrible because you can't talk to anyody unless your telepathic, like us. She then ran over to a random swing and began to swing.
Miu sat down on a swing next to Yume and began to swing too. Oh well, hopefully something will scare us bad enough to make us talk again.
