Reijin smiled and stood up, smoothing her kimono down as she did. "Luna-san, may I see the painting?"

Umou makes a big show of bowing even more deeply to the stuffed rabbit than she has either of the other two young woman. "Venerable Bun-buns-san! You have my thanks for gracing us with your presence!" Smiling at Izumi, Umou tilts her head slightly. "Have you been a maid for very long? Did you grow up in this area?" Not being as aware of social norms as other people her age, Umou doesn't really realize that she's being very forward in her questioning. ((21)) Namari_cat Saiyuri smiles and hides behind her bunny shyly "this is Bun-buns" she makes her Bun-buns wave to the pretty Umou Izumi smiles, hapy her Saiyuri-chan has found a friend. Deciding to take a little break from her chores Izumi takes a seat next to Saiyuri not quite sure what to say as she is not used to much human interaction

Amaiya finally finished her make-up and stepped out into the long and deserted hall..she had heard someone say something about an invitation and went to the main hall to look.

Izumi smiles sweetly to her new friend "Izumi honestly dosn't remember how long we have been here.. a month atleast... Izumi is from USA and the little ones are from Japan.. though it is a strange world they are from." Izumi streightens the back of Saiyuri's dress, not wanting her slip to show. "ano.. what about you Umou-san?.."
Izumi is interupten by Namari as he is being chased by Umi. Namari climbs into Izumi's lap and burries his face in her yukata. "Momma, she won't stop hitting me!"
"He started it!"
"No I didn't!"
stare "Enough. That's no way to act infront of a new friend." Izumi gives the little ones a stern warning.
Saiyuri hugs her Bun-buns and introduces the pretty lady to her older siblings "This is Umou-san. Umou-san, this is my big brother Namari and my big sister Umi... though we really prefer Riko.. she's a LOT nicer.."
They both bow.. umi just giving more of a nod than a bow, being her disrespectful self.

The babies = 3 60cm (2ft) tall dolls that Izumi loves very much heart (and they are real.. though they can't move on their own stare )
Namari: 23 year old boy, brown shoulder length hair in a low pony-tail and blue eyes
Riko: 19 year old girl, knee-length wine-red hair and green eyes
Umi: spirit traped in Riko's body, green-yellow eyes
Saiyuri: 16 year old girl, hip-length curly blond hair and lavender-purple eyes

Luna smile and held it up. the oils had dried well and didn't smug. Luna had a nack for catching the elements and nature and putting grace to the painting. "It is some of my best work, I like to paint and this one turned out very well indeed!" she smiled, a real smile for the first time in days.
((Tis o.k I'm cutting back on Gaia to posting once a day cause I get busy in the summer with two jobs))

With curiosity, Umou regards Izumi. "I don't think I've ever known someone from out of the country! I'm glad to meet you! How many of these little ones do you look after?" She smiles at the newcomers into the room. "I have not been here very long, myself. It was a wonderful thing to get the invitation to become a maid!" She leans in and whispers to the others like she's telling a fantasy story, instead of a kind look at her life thus far. "Before this, I was a princess of the wild! The murals in my vast rooms weren't just paintings of rivers and bridges, but the rivers themselves! I had a canopy of stars, and was blessed to have only the most luxurious of blankets!" Umou grins and makes a muted yipping sound towards the doorway, where four foxes peer in and stare.
From the entrance, Umou hears someone arriving. She calls "Hello, Mei! It's good to have you with us! Please come in! My name is Umou."

Saiyuri listens with amazement to Umou's story as Namari listens respectfully and Umi mearly ingores the world.
"Only these three.. well.. four.... Umi is an Inugami (hostile dog-demon) spirit traped in my Riko-chan's body with her.. that's why she is always so rude and disrespectful." Izumi gives Umi a stern look to witch Umi just rolls her eyes.
Izumi turns to the newcomer and bows "Welcome Mei-san! I am Izumi, and these are my babys, Namari, Saiyuri, and Umi." They bow to the new pretty lady.. Umi bows after receiving a stern tap on the back of the head from Izumi

Dog-spirits are well respected among my kind. Mostly because they give good chase!" She smiles lightly, hoping not to tread on any sore subjects. "I'm afraid I have been slacking too long, though!" She raises from her kneeling position with a feral grace and brushes her course robes off before following Mei into the kitchen. She stops and turns around before doing this, sensing that Izumi might want some 'grown up' company. "I was just going to help with the dishes- can I make you some tea while I'm there?" ((23))

Luna smiled. "It's the only thig that I really remember from my mother. and I enjoy it it's calming." she smiled and motioned. "I'm going to take it inside could you help me with the supplies?" she picked up the picture and carefully entered moving to the room the Maiko slept in. Gently she leaned it against the wall by her bed then returned to clean up.

Reijin nodded and began gathering the supplies. "It is the least I can do to repay you for your kind favor." As Luna returned to the garden, Reijin looked at her beautiful box of paints. "Your mother taught you to paint? She must have been very talented. My mother...she never had any talents like that. She was simply a humble housewife," Reijin murmured, her fingers tracing the delicate wooden cover.

Luna nodded. "I learned ot sew and paint from her but it was all I remembered. My mother had a difficult life, she always wanted to just be a house wife, your mother was luckey." Luna only mummbled the last bit and picked up some of the supplies returning to her room to put them away then comming back.
