The first of the attacks struck Karna across the face, causing him to stagger backwards a little bit. The blue energy around his face turned a dull black color to signify it was wounded in that area. Then the second attack struck him, the attack looked like a rock striking a pond as the dull black color quickly returned to the bright blue. Karna had it's arms up, ready to strike Shadow, when it was removed from this plane of existance. "Satisfied? Now then...I had taken it upon myself to reveal a little about myself, care to show a leap of faith and do the same? I would hate to make myself look a fool for trusting you."

Shadow laughed at Heswina's words before raising an eyebrow and saying. What do you want to see? I'll consider it but I won't neccasarily do it.

Shrugging she folded her hands in her lap and calmly folded one leg over the other, "I don't know, surprise me, after all...you are the great and powerful Shadow! You make 9 piss herself when you enter the room."

Shadow laughed at Heswina's words and said 9 worries simply because I had taken her soul and unlike some others plan ahead. I do nothing without a reason and now have her former body. I was kind enough to upgrade it to an angelic form though. Shadow thought for a moment before shrugging and saying. Choose something you want to know or see and I'll decide if it's an appropriate...how did you say it? Leap of faith.

"The orcs..." She flicked it away as if it ment little to nothing to her, which it really did, "Tell me how you control them...inside your mind." Tapping a finger against her temple, "I can control them when they are outside, in the world, but they bug the ever living hell out of me when they are dorment. Always trying to get me to watch them die and hope I have sympathy on them."

Shadow repressed a laugh at a question that was so unimportant. That's an easy enough question and puts me in a better position so I'll answer it. The way I control them is simple....I don't. Shadow chuckled slightly as he answered and by his smile let Heswina know that that had been the entirety of his answer.

"Oh, Shadow...you're hopeless." Standing up she acted as if she was dusting her bottom off. "Well, my dear friend, you were of little help to me and I do hope you die a most agonizing death...see you around." The way she spoke was so casual it was like they had known each other for years prior to simply meeting, really meeting, for the first time only a couple of hours ago. Picking up her cloak she throws it around her shoulder and begins to walk towards her room.

Shadow laughed and began melting into the floor but as he did he launched a four-pronged assault on Heswina. He waited until she was next to the orc's body and raised it's skeleton sending the headless blood splattered bones to attempt to grab her and as that happened he caused spikes of wood to rise from beneath her even as spears descended from the ceiling and shot from the wall nearest her. It was time to see how well she multi-tasked.

"Shadow...hopeless..." She continued walking as a woman appeared by her side, this woman had her hands clasped together and was murmmering words to herself, like she was preying. The spikes were halted in their tracks as Heswina saftely stepped out of their strike zone. The skeleton was ignored outright as Karna lept back into the world of mortals and began it's relentless assult. It started with a swift slice to the orc's forearms, sending bloody shards of bone flying in all directions, then followed with a spinning spinal slice. The orc crumpled as the spirits disapeared. Heswina was already making her way up the stairs by the time the spirits had finished with Shadow's little game.

Shadow chuckled darkly as he became one with the earth once more. This night had been far more productive than he had expected. He had learned much about Heswina including something that would have come as a nasty surprise and given nothing in return. He had even had a chance to observe two of her three spirits in action. He nodded to himself as he headed back to his workshop to trade bodies again and continue his hunt for the next specimen.
