Tokeru was confused, and hurt. "Why was she calling him Reno? What was going on?
He looked into her eyes, and then he figured it out. Her own mind was guilt ridden, and blaming herself for his death. As much as he wanted to run up to her and hug her, he couldn't bring himself to do so. He needed to find a way to bring her out of it, and if pretending he was Reno was gonna do it, then he was fine doing so.
"Yes Edith, it's me. Why are you so sad?"

If the psychic wasn't being so emotional and wasn't so confused at this very moment, she would have easily sensed Tokeru's hurt and confusion, but in her state, she only knew fear and how to be upset. She wasn't thinking of reading his mind at all, hell, she forgot that she was even able to read people's minds she was so freaked out.
Edith made quickly to look away from Tokeru's intense eyes, she couldn't handle making eye contact right now, especially since she didn't see Tokeru's eyes, she saw Reno's eyes. She knew that this couldn't be Reno, he was dead, but she forgot who it was that was talking to her right now, who it was that she was actually looking at. Why couldn't she see? Why couldn't she see who it was? Why couldn't she remember?
When Tokeru answered her, that yes, he was Reno, it just confused Edith more and made her believe that she was more crazy that she thought. It made her forget that Reno was dead, made her believe that she was actually seeing Reno. "Oh God," she said, forcing her eyes not to tear, slowly approaching him, cautiously, "I thought I saw you die ... I'm sad because I thought I saw you die ..."
Once close enough, Edith took Tokeru, or Reno, in her eyes, into her arms and embraced him. Her chin rested on his shoulder and a relieved smile, a calmed smile was drawn onto her features.

Tokeru felt guilty, pretending to be Reno just so he could find out what was wrong with her. He resolved not to lie more than he needed to.
"Edith, what you saw was true. It really happened. You need to live past it. You have other people that love you. What happened wasn't your fault, and you need to stop blaming yourself for it. Tokeru is worried about you, so is Will and all the others, you need to talk to them, and tell them how you fell. But more importantly, stop blaming yourself, it wasn't your fault."

Tokeru's tactics were lost on Edith, when he told her what she had seen and thought had actually happened, it just confused her a hell of a lot more. "W-What the ******** ... then ... who the ******** are you?" She pushed away again, this time more violently, actually shoving Tokeru forcefully away from her, though not in anger, still in fright though her fright was bordering anger as most people knew that those emotions were closely tied.
"Why do you look like Reno? Where am I? Why the ******** can't I remember?" She was a psychopath, she'd probably killed Reno herself and now she was going all psychotic. Why else couldn't she remember things? Why else was she going insane like this?
She shook her head when she finally registered Tokeru's words, slowly back away from him again. She then sat right in the middle of the hallway, clutching her temples violently enough that she was bleeding now. "No," she whispered as if speaking any louder would end the world, she was shaking as she sat on the floor, "people aren't worried. I'm probably ... off ... getting high somewhere or something like that ..."

Tokeru clenched his fist, and punched the wall, sending a cloud of dust into the air. "Damnit Edith, I love you and I don't want to see you like this. Reno is dead, it wasn't your fault, it was mine. If you wanna blame someone blame me, I took you from him, and I made you choose him or me, and you aren't to blame."
Tokeru sunk down to the floor, tears in his eyes. "Reno is dead, but I love you, please stop blaming yourself, I don't care if you never want to see me again, but please it wasn't your fault. Please."

Edith was utterly confused by the reaction she received from Reno who said he was not Reno and that he loved her and didn't want to see her like this, he said he was dead ... "How the hell," she said, clutching her bleeding temples harder, forcing her nails into them more, causing more bleeding, "did you take yourself from me? You know I might be psychotic but even I know what you just said made no ******** sense!"
She didn't understand why Reno was so upset, why he was crying ... Why was he saying he was dead when he was right there before her when he was talking to her? Then it hit her, then she actually listenend and heard ... This wasn't Reno ... That wasn't his voice, wasn't him at all ... This was Tokeru ...
"Oh God," she said, not even noticing her bleeding temples due to the adrenaline and all the thoughts she was feeling, "I'm so ******** up! It was, Tokeru, damnit it was! You know it was, and everyone else would know too if I wasn't such a friggin' coward! I want to see you, but I don't know if I should, look what the hell I've done to you and now I've thought of you as Reno!"
She was sorry, she wanted to tell him that, but she was too upset to say it. Right now she didn't know what she was going to do, what she should do. And instead of following her natural instinct to run, she grounded herself right in the middle of the hall, crossed her legs, and clutched her temples which she was starting to notice were bleeding and throbbing.

Tokeru crawled forwards to Edith, placed his hand under his chin and with tears in his eyes, told her to look at him.
"Edith, look at me. It wasn't your fault, you should know that. It was my fault, if you would never have met me, if I would never had made you choose, none of this would have happened. I love you, and I forced you to make that decision, and i'm responsible, not you. Stop blaming yourself, and blame me, but you did nothing wrong."
Tokeru took her hands away from her temples, and held them in his own. Fingers wrapping tight around hers, feeling the ring he had given her as the engagement ring. "Blame me, but not yourself, anything but that. I love you too much to see you blame yourself for anything, especially when you did nothing wrong. Please."

Though ashamed and still deeply upset with herself, Edith listened to Tokeru and looked at him, fighting her urge to run, that calling instinct that was in her very blood. She looked at him and she tried to focus on what he had to say to her, what he was saying to her. Focus was getting hard as she was now feeling the pain that she had intentionally or unintentionally inflicted upon herself, she did not really know anymore ...
"Tokeru, it wasn't your fault, not at all ... I chose ... I chose to do some things with you that I never should have ... I'd never thought I'd regret it this much, but I can't say that I'm completely unsatisfied with the decision I made ... It was my fault, entirely ... I made a move on you and you just responded like anyone would, anyone normal. I should have known better, I should have controlled myself."
When Tokeru took her hands, she stopped her rambling and actually made to look at him and listen to him speak to her. Somehow, his hands holding hers made her a little less tense, a little more at ease. Tokeru had always had that effect with her, whether she wanted it to happen or not, he always ended up calming her down in the end and he was a persistant bugger that stuck by her side. That's why she loved him, and she'd somehow picked the perfect guy at the cost of another's life ...
"Tokeru, I met you, I fell in love with you ... at the cost of Reno's life. That cost is much too high for me to pay. Tokeru, I don't deserve you, I didn't deserve Reno, hell I didn't deserve anyone, not even Zachariah ... I don't think I'll be able to ever have a clean conscience if I stay with you Tokeru. But I'm ******** up right now and I don't even know half of what I'm saying ..."
Quite randomly, Edith pulled away from Tokeru, ripping her hands from his and shielding herself from him. She was on all fours, bent over, up-chucking onto the ground, mostly blood as she was a vampire. Everytime she purged she coughed afterwards, just spewing up more blood and making one hell of a mess for the janitor ...

Tokeru was about to respond, when she started throwing up.
"By the gods, Edith, are you all right?" Not even waiting for a response, he rushed over to her side, and plucked her off the ground, and holding her tightly against him, rushed over to the infirmary, holding her in his arms.
(Exit infirmary)

Silently, Model 91-786 walked into the general areas. Her emerald hair fell about her shoulders softly as her eyes scanned the room for any signs of activity.
~Scanning...
No visible life forms found.
No mechanical signatures found.
No immediate threats.
Current Function - Make contact with group leader, William Jackson for further orders.~
As her eyes looked around the room once more, she began walking once more. Though she had every appearance of a human, the way that she walked was enough to make one second guess her. It was a rigid movement, save for the sway of her hips as she took each step. She looked like a woman on a mission, and woe betide anyone who stood in the way of her completion of her current function.
Right now, she needed to find someone who could tell her the location of the hunter leader.

Outcries of help and moans of the dying permeated the area. Tokeru help up a hunter by the collar, the hunter's arm cut off and the man bleeding to death.
He shook the hunter to keep him conscious. "You find the dove, you tricked the fox. The fox bites back, and the dove turns into a steak. Now the fox kills you, until the dove is found again."
Slamming the hunter against the wall once more, he let the man drop to the ground. Luckily the room had been almost empty today, and the casualties were rather small, only five people had died because of his insanity, five hunters were either dead or dying, and Tokeru was only getting angrier.
"THE DOVE WILL BE SET FREE." He roared to the air.
A piercing whistle sounded through the air, and more hunters rushed in, to kill or die.

It didn't take much for Edith to relocate Tokeru, after all, there was a ton of commotion and whatnot. She prayed to God that no one had been hurt, but praying hadn't been enough and there were already five bodies strewn across the floor. She knew that Kiriyama was going to bother her about this and she wanted to get this cleared up before he got here in his angry condition and only made things worse. "Everyone," she shouted to all the hunters in the district, "get out of here if you want to escape with your lives! I've got this situation! Please don't attack!"
That was when she made her way over to Tokeru so that nothing else would happen to him or anyone else. "Tokeru! Stop this at once! These aren't your enemies! They're hunters, they're your allies and you've just murdered five of them! Stop it before someone of power actually comes here and makes sure you can't do it again!" She slowly approached him, deciding that if he took her down, that all hope was probably lost but she was willing to risk it. "Tokeru, wake up damnit! I'm right in front of you! I'm Edith!" She didn't wait for a response from Tokeru when she pulled out a syringe she'd taken from Gail in case something like this happened and attempted to plunge it into his arm.

Tokeru turned to face this newest threat, and saw her, well for a second anyway, then Kiriyama appeared, with the gun. For the one second it took for Kiriyama to arrive, the one second it took for Edith to try to plunge the needle in his arm, Tokeru was already moving to face the newest threat, throwing knife flying towards Kiriyama as he pulled out his Uzi, and scythe arcing forwards through the air, flying towards the man, with Tokeru following directly behind, blades drawn and plunging forwards.

Kiriyama frowned as he saw the knife coming at him.He quickly fired at it deflecting it. He saw Tokeru coming at him. He knew it was one wrong move and he would die.He quickly ran foward dodgeing the scythe that was thrown at him and slid underneath the chargeing beast. As he slid under him he fired several burst of round at Tokeru knowing they would hit at such close range.
