Examining Trees.... Hum, this purple one seemed lovely ! Coming closer the ghoul discovered that it was only a stump, and that those didn't speak. Too bad.

Next, then! Oh, isn't that a wonderful shade of blue, there at the corner of the Cheshire's field of vision?
Once close enough to it she could see that it actually had darker stripes. Stripes ! On a tree!
And the plant actually answered her thought And the changing color stripes almost made the cat envious. Hers didn't change colors. Given such a good incentive she shook the tree real good the vent a bit of envy.
The tree only laughed and she caught a fragment it threw her.

Plain green yes, but with so many signs on it ! It seemed any information could be found on it!

Humming, Ash strolled a bit until a ... what could that color be? A tree caught her attention.
It was small, tiny really. And it seemed really cheerful. A mystery! Now it had all the cat's attention. What could be hidden in it's mouth...?
Remembering her experience with the stripped tree she had a guess.
"A fragment maybe?"
And she was right! The ghoul couldn't stop herself from prancing about after it gave her her win.

Trees the sign said. So ash needed one more. She was having much fun so far, and she wasn't in a hurry so she took her time choosing the last one.
Ah, that one! Striped as well. Would it be as silly as the other one?
Well, at least both didn't like to be called silly. The stripes changing colors were just as fascinating as it was last time. And after a good shake the tree dropped another fragment.
Really, she loved those trees.
With her quest completed the Cheshire went back to the sign post and was rewarded with both a level up and a loot!
Choosing a direction, she exited the Woods.

As he gained consciousness, he had a heavy feeling of disappointment weighing down on him. He should know better by now than to drink mysteriously labeled vials. McCowboy, as he was now known - an old nickname, a play on his style and last name - sat up from the ground and rubbed his temples. An eyepatch was blocking his sight so he moved it aside to get a clearer of the --- rainbow woods? Was this some kind of a gay dream? He didn't see any twinks cruising through these woods. A disappointed sigh.There was, however, a wooden sign with a bright yellow exclamation mark over it. If the rainbow ******** trees of Narnia weren't enough of a hint, this world was clearly not normal. Intrigued, he approached the sign to give it a read. Okay, now he wasn't a biologist or an expert on trees or anything like that, but he was pretty damn sure that trees don't wear ******** glasses. On second thought, he was also pretty goddamn sure that trees don't even speak, so it was probably best to not question anything from that point forward. It took a bit of searching, but eventually McCowboy succeeded in finding the glasses. He returned them to the sobbing broken tree and received an uncomfortable hug in return. DaughterEye arrived with nothing but a narrowed gaze for the ridiculous surroundings. She didn't care for the whimsical sounds or the strange and goofy colors. It was bad enough to find herself engulfed in nature and made even worse that she found herself, even in this incarnation, trapped in a limbed body. With no pin she could remove, Jil was forced to suffer the confinement and attempt to find her way free of the place. Eye was fine to seek trees, though the method of delivery for this task had been an odd one. Thankfully the concept of following a 'quest' was atleast familiar to the odd ghoul. "Seek trees.." She hissed to herself. "In a forest full of trees." Her verbal displeasure was met with a mouth, hovering above the trees. It taunted her, accusing her of being lost. Eye called out, "Well where's the way out?!" Eye was now confronted with a tree who gloated about all of it's friends. She hardly cared about his little riddle and when it spoke again, asking of it's height, she merely said, "Taller than me." Her answer wasn't wrong of course, just not what the tree wanted. "You're lucky I cannot burn this forest to the ground!" Eye was realizing that this place was increasingly ridiculous. Was there at least something she could fight? The striped tree certainly caught her eye, enough to make her look at her own striped tail which pulsed a moment before turning half invisible. She looked almost startled to see a part of herself do such a thing. Was this a dream? She'd never had such disturbing visions until she'd come to this school. So enthralled with her tail she'd missed most of what the tree said and only caught the shaking part. The next trees started to swat at McCowboy as leaves rained down upon him. These trees were getting goddamn hostile! Man, he could go for another uncomfortable tree-hug again.
