You end up tailing him all the way to his room, the door of which he slams and locks behind him.
Nekora:
Jasmine sighs.
I suppose you're right, she says.
Everyone except Chi:
"So, unless Lumina's magic reveals itself before we leave, which will be about two hours from now, she'll be remaining behind for the day," Jasmine says. "Our mission involves going to Germany and checking out the recent attack areas, seeing if there are any survivors, and so on. We can't interact with anyone unless the MP says so."

"Stay hidden unless told to, got it." I reply. "With luck you'll find your powers soon, I would like to have extra help scouting." I say to Lumina. "Also, the way Jean-Paul ran away was weird right? Or is it a cultural thing?"

I stop once I hear the lock click. I slowly walk up to the door preparing to knock, but stop and simply let the side of my fist and my head fall forward causing them to thump lightly against the door. I feel a familiar coldness overtake my chest. "I'm sorry," I mutter. "I've never been good at interacting with people. Isolation from others my age when I was a kid... alienation from brought by my family... I never...." I trail off for a moment as I fight to keep a sudden assault of tears at bay and keep my voice as steady as I can... with little success. "Looks like I drove another person away...." I punch the door frame weakly. "Kuso!" I turn and walk away before I accidentally shoot my mouth off again.

"That was weird, yes," Jasmine says. "I'm not sure what's wrong, really."
Chi:
After a moment, the door opens a bit. Jean-Paul looks at you with his blank, milky-white left eye, tears streaming down his face.
"No, Chi," he says. "I'm sorry. I got scared...there was too much going on, so much emotion...it..."
His voices cracks and he closes his eye.

My eyes widen for a moment before relief floods through me. I inch my way back over and sigh roughly as I get myself under control. "Sorry about that. For some reason they feel like they have the right to horn in on other peoples' business and they know how to push buttons. Somehow, they bring out the worst in me without really trying. It's hard enough for me to form bonds with people, and they certainly aren't helping with their current methods." I pause. "Are you going to be okay?"

"They're usually not that bad. Excitement tends to bring out the worst in them... then their excitement turns into nosiness and brings out the worst in me. I can tell them keep their excitement level down and not to crowd your personal space in the future. Would that make you feel more comfortable?"

"I would assume so, Chi seemed awful quick to try and block me out in the training battle. Didn't try drive in or anything, but blocking out my attempts to communicate did make it tricky to negotiate a mutual victory with her. Come to think of it, she was the only one not willing to talk to me..." Nekora adds in to help answer Misaki's question. She leaps into Jade's lap and starts purrs, since Ayumu seemed a bit busy to be dealing with a catgirl in her lap right now.

Currently borrowing someone else's, will try to post semi-regularly.)) Lumina had gone somewhat quiet since her last utterance, staring down at the table, seemingly deep in thought. She eventually resurfaces, blinking a few times and shaking her head. " oh... No, they haven't, at least I don't think they have...
