Darn it. Three votes, all different. Who else might be able to vote? Zoedina, Rushifa, Elizabeth... and that's it. Rawr. I'll PM them once I finish the Watch. EDIT: Four way tie. stare I can either... stay up and hope someone logs on to vote, or take away my current vote and choose among the remaining three. EDIT2: The latter was my choice, unfortunately. It's rather unfair of me. *sigh* Published.

*cries* sorry, had a busy day, couldn't get on to vote ;_;
For the hiring thing, I still suggest we make a seperate thread, which lists the positions "open" (as in, what we want, what's availible, etc.), applications, requirements, etc. Perhaps people could actually submit their applications right in that thread, so we'd have them all in one place, instead of being sent to someone's inbox.

Perhaps that'd work as well. I'm kind of trying to make an information sticky and such. So if you've got anything to add to that either edit it in if you can or let me know. I think you're in the same boat like the rest of us. Too much other crap to do to really get things running.

Lillian Ashe Two pieces published in the same issue and BOI. That some record, or something? As in it's never happened before? I believe so. It was a bit overdue anyway. So I was thinking. Just as a sort of... wish. Gaia goes to that Anime Expo thing, right? And I thought it would be neat if they had some tangible copies of the Press at their booth. It's probably not going to happen, but it'd be ultra-cool if it did. Maybe if I stick with this long enough to grow up, learn to drive, make money, and have the ability to travel longs distances (as well as find some way to print the actual magazine), it might happen. Ah, well. Que sera sera.

I wonder, how hard could it be? Maybe, hang on, who here can drive? Or can get to wherever the 'cons are; anyone live in the general area? Printing the 'zine would not, probably, be as difficult as the actual organization of the whole thing, from running it to everything else. I must think about this...

The West coast is really too far for me. Though that would be kickass to do.

Let's see, here; what was I going to tell you guys? Oh, yeah: 1) I created and opened the submissions thread for July. A bit late; 'Deryn reminded me. 2) Aside from summer school, I now have a limit on my computer time, so I may not be on. And even if I'm on, I may be non-responsive.

I ish free from vacation. Free...
So, I'm thinking about trying my hand at a review. This is a very almost-one-time-only deal, anywho, so. biggrin Also, can I critique my own stuff I submitted? Ooh, that'd be fun.

Hi.
whenigrowupiwannabeacritic--
(1) What are your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to writing?
I don't have strengths, only weaknesses. XD I can make things better, I guess; I prefer critiquing to writing. -_- How fit I am for the WF.
(2) What's your favorite kind of writing -- poetry, fiction, editorial, or prose?
I like long walks on the beach, and-- uh. Poetry, fiction, prose, yadayada.
(3) On a scale of 1 - 10, with 1 being a disappearing-and-reappearing writer and 10 being a chief editor, how active do you plan to be at the 'zine?
As active as I can be- probably 7 or so.
(4) How often are you online at Gaia?
The question is, how often am I not online? The answer to that is nearly never.
(5) Preferred position?
Poetry critic.
