The Pawniard would not budge at the Leer, he'd only glare back ">A debt half paid. By then you will our the spirits of the fallen your own death as well...<" The Pokemon uttered in a dark, foreboding tone.
">But for their sake, I won't allow you even that far!<" The Pawniard called out, sharp and abrupt. The red-black would consume his body, and with a single blind charge he would strike out at Animus with Revenge!

+1 TO TROPIUS' DEFENSE! (jesus why...)And into the ground they went, as Specter mumbled something before pulling her claws out. his was bad, bad...times like these she wished she had wings, or Aerial Ace or something. But no, she would just have to deal with it, find another way. There was always at least one way to take down your enemies, she just had to find it.
But now was time to worry about evading the Tropius. She was outspeeding her at the moment, and she couldn't exactly see where the leafy dino was coming from. What to do, what to do...Specter chewed on her bottom lip, yes, maybe...she flicked her shorter ear, getting on all fours. It was something her kind usually did when trying to run, catch something going fast...really fast.
Her claws retracted down to normal size. Specter kicked her back leg up, getting a feel of the terrain, before stretching forwards, dashing with great speed in a zig-zag pattern. If she moved, she'd be a harder target, which would hopefully confuse the Tropius enough to miss. At least, that was the plan.
Pokemon: Zangoose [F] Name & Level: Specter, Lv4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Met on an island, Carmine had originally killed this Zangoose after beating her father. Ada had felt so guilty after that, that when given the opportunity to take any Pokemon she had found there home with her as a copy, she had chosen to take Specter, it was as close as reviving her as she could get. Stats: HP: 11/21, PP: 21, ATK: 16, DEF: 9, SPD: 13, SP. ATK: 11, SP. DEF: 11 Moves: Nightslash || Ice Punch || Leer Item: N/A EXP: 116/300 [ 10/??? ]

[Don't you display the wild pokemon's info at the beginning of a battle?]
~ >"Well peaceful-way? I'm pretty sure you would battle with us and think that we're lying about not having any valuables."< ~
The Chikorita's bud that was around his neck stretched out and grabbed a piece of grass.
He blew on it and and sweet soothing melody came from it.
Snover and Six were soon getting sleepy.
They just had to stay awake. Who knows how this battle would turn out with them starting out asleep!

">I'm not sure Jokes are really appropriate for a musical act...<" Requiem pondered out loud, tilting his head off to one side ">...but I'll try anything once mate!<" The Zorua exclaimed, grabbing the card between his teeth; and just as he was about to pull, he was abruptly recalled.
While the Trubbish had been distracted, Raven had made his way to the other-side...and was now fleeing down the tunnel! Nope, he wasn't going to have a damn thing to do with the Poison-Type if he could help it!

It had worked, the sandpit itself hadn't been one of the pokemon's moves. Which was pure luck considering the type, and the cat was able to return to safety of his pokeball.
Though Jasmine's next move would have made any guardian antsy. To stick one's head down a fox's hole was dangerous enough, and a snakes's tunnel was simply sucicide, but a Trapinch's hole ....a creature that could literally made the earth sink in one place ....was just plan insanity.
Yet, Jasmine had one thing going for her. It was Burnout's attack ...for what pokemon would stick around after that. As Jasmine's voice would receive no answer.
Thus, it was safe to assume that the answer was no....as her voice would merely echo. Any Trapinch with any sense wouldn't come back above ground after what Burnout had done. The attack itself wasn't something that could instantly killed, but it was never a nice feeling when some one burns you ...and the Trapinch wasn't happy at all with what had happen.
It's prey escape, and it had been injured.
No, the Trapinch was long gone, but he wouldn't be so easily forgotten.

((NO it will be a debt fully repaid))
Animus declares as he lower his horn once more, and actually before Victoria could call it one way or the other counter attack with Take Down. The move seeking to get underneath the pokemon's guard as he responses back.
((For I am and my mate will make sure to give those spirits new homes. Lots and lots of new homes, with the amount of children we will have to make up for their loses. Each of their names will be that of our children ....))
Though the look on the pokemon's face wasn't exactly that of fiery willpower, but instead ...if one pay attention that of pure lust. Of course, he would no doubt enjoy himself in making all those wonderful ..wonderful eggs. As the smile on his face seemed almost goofy even as that sharp horn came off as something not just dangerous but deadly.
That was his answer, the way for his spirit to be calmed by his deed. He would give new life for every one he took, and though that couldn't completely restore what he had taken away ...it was better than nothing.

[It's more of an Event/Surprise Attack. That's what you get for underestimating him.]
It was too late, the Chikorita's melody too soothing. Six and the Snover would barely manage any resistance as their eyes closed, and they drifted off into the sweet, peaceful realm of sleep.
No harm would come to the boy or his Pokemon while they slept, and when they eventually woke, they would find the Chikorita was gone.
Something else was gone as well. The Chikorita had made good on his promise of robbing them. Six would find he was minus the Potion he'd once been carrying. A valuable item indeed if you were a Pokemon.
[Six lost a Potion!]

((Wheee~ Probly final post for the night... but still~))
Jasmine would wait for a moment, before finally, she'd settle her crutch again, as Lindbergh's tail and its claw grabbed the metal aid for her, she'd dust herself down, the sand was fine and smooth... it seemed it hadn't caked... and from what she could see, it had filtered away, she was unaffected, although she'd certainly want to empty her boots out later!
Finally, she accepted the Trapinch was gone, she sighed... then looked to Burnout and Lindbergh, both floating alongside her.
"Alright... remember the plan then... looking for one very large and shining metal bird..."
From one suicidal plan to another...

Though where the Tropius might have been quite satisfied with simply charging ...she was more than a bit determine to destroy the Zangoose now.
A nerd wasn't she?
She would show her what a nerd could do as she aimed her board leaves at the pokemon's foot. The current catching in those board leaves as she would actually direct the wind to go underneath. A downwards current strong enough to get her off the ground if she simply angle her leaves differently, but that wasn't her goal this time.
As she angle her board leaves and would actually send a low sweeping current to try and stop the pokemon's motion. Wind blowing head on with the Zangoose would act as as a wind tunnel that would make it impossible to easily rush forward or around ....as the Tropius would lower her head and came back at her opponent once more with another Headbutt.
Dropping the wind in that fraction of a second before following it up with her own move.

(6 - 2) + (9 - 9) = 4 + 1 = 5 (Resistance neutralized by Failed Counter)
Soon enough Animus would feel the pain of his mistake, letting ones mind wander in battle was a dangerous thing. Something the Nidorino would be forced to learn, and learn well as the Pawniard's bladed arm dug deep into his flesh.
The damage done, the Dark-Type would dance backward ">Petty excuses. No life will not replace the dead. Your joy will bring none to the deceased<" The Pawniard spat out the words like venom, once more assuming his defensive stance.
No, he would not allow this dumb pathetic beast to breach his guard again...

[I only rolled less than what you did is all. *sigh* I hate my luck >.<]
As soon as Six and Snover awoke, Six noticed that he was missing something. His potion was gone!!
"Gah! *sigh* What is wrong with the pokemon on this island?!"
Six was furious. Wouldn't pokemon know it'd be better to be a trainer rather than themselves and having to resolve to stealing? Pokemon have just gone mad in this island.
Six and Snover got up and continued to walk off the path.
Snover looked up at Six. He felt bad for falling for the Grasswhistle the Chikorita had used.
Six noticed Snover looking at him. He knew that look. That look meant that he was sorry.
"Don't worry Snover. It's not your fault. It was mine for underestimating that Chikorita."
Six and Snover just continued on the path forward, with nothing but silence along the way.
*sigh* Won't pokemon and humans ever get along? the though just stayed there in Six's mind as they continued their walk. Was it because he was an unfit trainer?
If another encounter happend like that with the Chikorita, Six would be discouraged.

As Six continued on his adventure, the boy would pass a pile of skulls much like the one he'd encountered before. Unlike this one however, there didn't seem to be a Vullaby in sight. Probably off collecting more bones for the pile...or so it would appear. Neither the child nor Snover would notice them, a pair of bead eyes starring at them through a half shattered skull.
The bird was there alright...patiently waiting for them to leave.
[Helps if you remember to keep track of how far you are. I'm posting for more then just you so I can't always be counted on to do it. xp ]

( 14 - 8 ) + ( 14 - 9 ) = 11
Specter HP: 0Specter felt a shot of pain in her back, and she was headbutted right off of the ground. The Zangoose grunted, trying to right herself, though to no avail. That knowledge the Tropius had came in handy, and she was finally able to take down the Zangoose. Specter came back down on the ground, rolling to a stop. Bruised, battered, a bit of blood dripping from her mouth...but she was still breathing, very notably breathing, and with proper care she would be able to see many more battles to come.
Ada called her back, giving a slight humph. Ah, Specter was one of her strongest too...though she still had one more wall to raise. She reached up for the second of the normal pokeballs atop her hat, letting it out in front of her.
This time the Tropius would be greeted by an Aerodactyl just a few inches shorter than her. He was one bulk of a pokemon, no doubt, and there was one thing now that he had to his advantage, one that would put him on level with the guardian...the skies. "Erion, Wing Attack" The Aerodactyl flicked his tail, spreading his wings and running forwards before taking off.
It was such a shame, she seemed kinda cute...well, for an Aerodactyl, she did. It wasn't every day two giants of opposite gender had the pleasure of knowing eachother...ah, but what had to be done, had to be done. He deliberately got close to the Tropius, steering himself with his left wing as he brought his right down on her. Knock her right out of the skies, he was.

[Oop sorry. So would this make 7/10?]
Six and Snover continued walking. Six noticed that there was another area filled with piles of bones.
Reminded him of the battle with the Vullaby. The battle that he and Snover had successfully won, with all of Snover's health.
Six just continued walking pass the piles of bones and skulls and god knows what else would be here.
Six was completely oblivious to the stare that he was recieving. He didn't have the energy to have another battle.
