Ms Edyn "An' you as well," Night said, tipping her head back and drinking deeply from her bottle before nearly slamming it down, breathing somewhat heavily, "So, forgive me if I soun' rude or anyting, but what exactly are you?" RC is about to take another swing of his Sake when he hears Night's question. he sets it back down. "Tha's right. don't see a hybrid like me tha ofen. I...ama Shiny Rayquaza Hybrid." he says. Sake was starting to get to him.

Night, who had just raised her bottle for another drink stopped before the bottle reached her mouth and placed it back on the table, regarding RC for a moment as what he'd just said tried to make sense of itself in her mind, "A shiny whatwhata?"

Ms Edyn Night, who had just raised her bottle for another drink stopped before the bottle reached her mouth and placed it back on the table, regarding RC for a moment as what he'd just said tried to make sense of itself in her mind, "A shiny whatwhata?" RC smiles. he opens his SNAG and cycles down to Rayquaza. He then shows it to Night. "A shiny version of that Legendary Dragon. " he explains.

So, don' know much abou' the legen's from other regions." "mmm, tha woud esplain it. me? iva been evrywhar. still esplorin that Ooonova regen. crazy place. neva seen a regen so packed in on one lan mass." RC explains and takes another gulp of Sake. darn. he was almost out, oh well. He would sleep well after this session of drinking.

"Nah," Night said, grasping the table tightly as she slowly got to her feet, "Mos'ly jus' the recent events that got me wary. Wha' with those pricks nearly killing all o' us las' time." Swaying slightly, she turned towards the door and began stumbling out, "Anyways, nice talkin' to ya, RC, I think 'm gon' go pass out. Later."

Lykas sat on the couch in HQ and was looking over a book in his hands. "Crystals and Their Inherent Powers". "Interesting...." He folded one corner of the page he was on and moved on to the next page to continue. What he was doing was anyone's guess but he had been wanting to talk to Sub or someone about something for a few weeks now. Was this related to that?

"Whatever you want, take up a mission, train your Pokemon, bum around, explore, do as you please. Now if you will excuse me I have a couch to find." Sub said with a grin and walked off downstairs into the main area of HQ where he would find Lykas sitting in his own usual spot on the couch. "Hey dude, what you up to?" He asked him.

Lykas looked up at the sound of Sub's voice. "Oh, hey." He offered a small wave as he laid his book down, keeping his thumb hooked around it to keep his page marked. "Just doing a bit of research, I guess you could call it." He explained. "Trying to find a way to get stronger so I don't always have to rely on my Pokemon. I figure the odds of me somehow becoming a hybrid are slim at best and I heard Psychics tend to use gemstones to amplify their powers, so I thought maybe there might be one somewhere out there in the world that might be able to help me, ya know." It was a noble thought, perhaps, if a bit of a flight of fancy. But it made him feel better about his current lack of strength like Sol and Blizzard had.

"Ah, well I know what you mean." Sub said sitting down beside Lykas on the couch. "It's, overwhelming to an extent being around and working with such strong people isn't it? Watching them fight alongside their Pokemon while you are left to let your own Pokemon to do all the work, standing by as nothing more than a coach." He nodded.
"Ever met Miles? The Ninetales hybrid? I talked to him about something just like this before, he told me about things people once used to control chi themselves. Just average humans they were but with the help of these, artifacts, as he called them, they could manipulate chi like a hybrid could, in their own way though." He went on to say.
"Did some research after talking to Miles too and he wasn't lying. There are actually many humans in folklore who were said to manipulate elements, some were so strong that they were known as gods by groups of people. Admittedly some were hybrids and a few pure human but none the less, they were all mortal, no gods." He said leaning back on the couch.
