Rook stared at the vibrosword, which he slung loosely on a belt across his waist. He needed to check the next set of locales to sabotage, and hopefully make a successful approach.
While he missed the rings of Geonosis, his battle tactics would just have to be more precisely timed. No more waiting in the fields for the shuttle. No more secondary objectives.
Rook began to sink back into his memories, back when he was teaching a pyromaniacal Firrerian boy how to remain patient, stalk his prey, and most importantly, keep focused on the task at hand.
Only about two years ago, he had been with a group of Rebels. He had sworn the transport they had landed upon was full of horrible memories, and it was. As the princess opened up several stasis chambers, the survivors began to refuse their freedom. All they had wanted was a home, free from the empire. That very same vessel held that boy, he swore, still in stasis when he last left.
Now, all that remained was distant echoes. Rook woke from his trance, as he made his way to the bridge of the Saboteur.

The bounty hunter noted that two of his balloons were popped, struck down by blaster bolts.
"Once I begin a hunt, I don't stop until I bring my target down. No matter where you hide, no matter what you do, I will find you."
Concealed by the smoke an disquised by his remaining dopplegager, Solm's raised his stun carbine, locked on with his helmit's targeting HUD and fired upon Cale.

No matter where I hide... Cale suddenly recalled the Hunter's last ditch attack on Brentaal, then his subsequent appearances on Ord Mantell and Ithor. Then he recalled the unusual power readings on the Auric Runner.
He bugged the Runner! Thats how he's been tracking me!
"Why you slimy two bit-" Cales words were cut off as a blast of scintillating blue stun energy flew right for him. Cale braced himself as the bolt slapped against his light shield, the impact knocking him against the wall behind him.
"Slaver Carbine? What? your web gun ran out of juice?"
There was a sudden and brief shiering noise off to Cale's left as a pair of vibro Cutlass blades sliced an X through the Salon's storefront window. An Armored Boot stamped on the X's center, Neatly breaking the glass and sending shards of it flying into the cloud of smoke. Rain emerged through the window Armor clad, her twin Cutlasses held at the ready as her helmeted Gaze fixed on the figures in the smoke.
"Rain?" Cale said irritably. "What took you so long?"
"I was having my Hair grown back. I didnt spend all that cash just so I'd get a half assed job of it." Her suit's sensors indicated which of the two was an Ogranic being and she set her gaze upon it.
"Ok Solms. Round three. This time I'm ready for you."

"My prey always seems to think that." Solms remarked as he began formulating a plan. "Sorry Mando-Girl. As fun as you are to play with, I'm not here for you. I'm here for your Captain." Solms suddenly snapped his gauntlet at Cale and fired a grappling tether at him. Skillfully Solms adjuste his arm and wrist so that the tether would wrap the Outlaw up. He Drew his Blastech DT-57 and fired a burst of Energy at Rain as he bolted for Cale.

"Very well," Mordranna replied, patting Angel on the shoulder. "I'll be in my quarters should you need anything. In the meantime, I'll give some thought as to any leads we may uncover,"

Only a few moments had passed, and Angel was already deep in reconfiguring random systems on the Sundered Rose. R1 left her alone, but kept monitoring everything in case anything had a sudden change worth noting.

Cale suddenly found himself bound by the hunter's repelling cable. Thinking quickly he rolled to his left, moving out of Solm's charge.
Rain sprung upon the hunter and slashed at him with a furious three strike attack, slashing diagonally at him with her two blades then spinning about to slice a blade into the hunter's side.

Mordranna spent an hour in meditation, and then sought to communicate with the Praxeum, to see if she would obtain any leads there. "The name is Damon Syricia," she stated, hoping for even the slightest sliver of a lead.
Antsy moments later, the voice of Tionne replied. "Yes, we have but one entry. However, he had left the Praxeum after attaining master-dom, presumably on a vision quest."
Mordranna merely nodded, confirming what Angel had told her. "Thank you, Tionne."
"Do you require anything more, Master Brunhildt?"
"For now, no." she shook her head. "However, I shall be in touch. If you can, can you keep your ears to the ground for any rumors?"
"Certainly, Master Brunhildt. I'll see what I can do."
"Thank you again. Brunhildt out."
Despite the difficulty that no doubt confront herself and Angel, Mordranna couldn't help but give a slight hint of a rueful smile as her delicate fingers stroked her chin. Damon, believe me, I've been in your shoes before. She then put her brain to work as to where, were she Damon, where she would have went. Perhaps, we may find him in a place we may not expect.

"Placing a call to Yavin pretty much netted what Angel has told me," Mordranna replied. "I was considering asking about at the local watering holes as an initial starting point." Giving the faleen a rueful grin, she added, "I seem to remember a similar vision quest, you could say, before coming to the Jedi Order. My plan was to use my own experience as a base, and thusly check into things along that area." With a pause for effect, she then added with a rueful chuckle, "I've even ran across some ... interesting characters along the way." At that, she assumed a more serious tone, a flick of her head bringing her ebon locks dancing across her shoulder. "I wonder if she has a holo of him. Of course, I imagine that they may not have had much contact in recent years. Still, I imagine a forsensics droid could probably whistle up an age progression extrapolated from an older holo,"
