Malla faltered when she saw Lynea flash by like a shooting star, swept away by her hunger.
Now what?
She decided to mimic her steps for a while and stepped up to a machine.
Fumbling for her card from a pouch-pocket at her waist, she drew it through with the intricacy of a veteran brain surgeon.
That was the extent of her plan. After a bemused twenty seconds, an automated voice clacked out, "What would you like?"
Malla jumped a good six inches. She would never get used to such technology, she decided, and replied, "I'd like a chicken leg and bread slice."
Promptly the tray was before her, and after another wince she picked it up with a grin. It looked so perfect.
"Anything else?"
After pondering a few seconds, Malla decided she would test the bot with a song she had heard on the road.
"Y-M-C-A!"
She roared, hoping the machine would take her cue. No such luck.
She sighed and tried to locate Lynea. There she was- All that baby blue lace was like a flag. She trotted as well as she could with her burden and slapped her on the back.
"Why don't we go over there?" Malla pointed to a booth near the gargantuan window and began scooting towards it, listening with interest to the sound her moccasins made on the tiled floor.

Zen watched her walk away. Then sat back down, The tonfas at his side clinking slightly. He was bored again. He Then got an idea. HE snapped his fingers, inserting his energy into the chronotons in the room. Everything began to slow down, until it eventaully came to a stop. He walked over to Ame, who was frozen in time. He observed her new form, Then turned. Observing the Neko girl. Then lancaster, and Bijou. He smiled a bit.
(sorry for the time freeze, but its my characters ability. he can slow things down to a stop by making chronotons, or time cells, so heavy that they can no longer flow to the point where everything except for him stops moving. He also can control who can move through that time flow. in this period, he cant be seen. but your characters can keep moving and stuff. Its just that for him, time has stopped)

Lancaster turned his head with the tea cup still in hand. His golden hair followed with his movements. With his mouth still on the edge of the cup he blinked several times as if he had seen this type of thing before....and he had.
He set his cup down for the last time and nodded."Why yes Ame dear. You have grown, and you look very stunning." He said giving his winning, charm of a smile, such a lovely dear you are.

(no no no! He isnt stuck in time. Its just that, in a sense, hes moving through time so fast that he cant be seen. Hes moving so fast, that time has stopped. so in a way, hes in an alternate universe. ')

Ame sighed, bowing her head and sat down. Her feet still dangled, but not as much.
"It happened again." She said softly. She closed her eyes tightly, then opened them again.
The others seemed to be looking at her, so she continued. "Sometimes, rarely. And by rarely I mean like maybe once a year or so, I'll...change" She ran a hand through her hair, knotting it slightly. "I grow older, i guess. I mean, I act how a normal sixteen year old would act."
She sighed again, laying her head against the table. "I dunno why it happens..."

no way! Its like...he can do the matrix!! only instead of everything be slo-mo, its no-mo. know that new movie, click? the one with the universal remote? its like he has the pause button. he can pause things. gives him the oppurtunity to just walk up and kick someone in the bawls.)

she said, talking aobut her cat form whihc she didn't like people knowing, becaue she enjoyed making it a suprise. SHe just sat there as she listened to them.

(i told you already. sorry for that part of the thing. but he cant hold it too long, and the universe begins to return into motion after a while. its not an alternate universe, its the same as the one youre in. but you cant see him because hes moving so fast. tis complicated to explain. but yeah. you get it.)
Zen Came to a decision. He snapped his fingers again, returning back to a normal timeflow. Sitting back down where he was. Watching the group. Wondering what they were talking about. Wondering whether he should stay or go. His head began to pound. He lifted his headsets, placing them over his head. and turning on his music again. the pounding slowlyt receded.

((I'm not a mod, or crew member, or anything like that. However, I really don't think we should be flooding the dining hall with OOC. Especially oneliner OOC. Now, Mis I know you were just trying to see what ginseku was doing. Other than that, there shouldn't have been OOC unless it was in an actual post. But you know, I'm not anyone important on here. I just think we should discuss this somewhere else than the actual RP thread))

Lancaster looked to her and blinked a few times and smiled. "Now now love you shouldn't worry yourself, it may just be a side effect of being such a young nymph." He smiled to her and patted her head with a brotherly smile as he finished up his second breakfast...or perhaps brunch he should say.
"Well ladies, should we see where our adventures take us again or would we like to relax her for a while longer."

"Lets go somewhere else" Ame said, standing up. As she did, she began to change back to her old self. Since she was now several inches shorter than previous, she crashed down onto the ground.
She didn't cry though, she sighed standing up and giggled. It was as if she didn't remember what had just happened to her, and maybe she didnt. "Where are we going to go?" She asked Lancaster with huge eyes. She grabbed his hand tightly. "You pick,ok?"
