gonk I had forgotten how expensive nursing wear can be. Oh well, it's ordered and should be here in plenty of time.

Well, you should be able to wear it for a long time. :] It's a good investment.

eek I haven't even considered nursing clothes... I'm waiting to see if the baby can breastfeed before I go buy clothes for it. Since my daughter was a preemie, she never learned to latch properly and became far too lazy to work for her food. So I pumped for a month and then went exclusively to formula.

Ethan tried to be lazy and couldn't get latching down for almost two weeks, but I eventually figured out a way to get him to do it and then worked on it from there. I'm hoping this next one will be a better nurser.
I need to think about getting my hospital bag packed as well.

eek That is some serious procrastination there! I've been having to fight the urge to do it and get ready for weeks now. I told myself I can't until I'm about to hit 37 weeks, making me wait until the end of this month. (May seem a little odd but if I did it all now, what would I do when I'm fidgity all next month while I wait? XD)

I've got a terrible cold all the sudden. :[ What happens if I'm still sick when I go into labor?

Nothing that I know of. If it's just a cold, I can't see why it would cause any issues. (Other then perhaps make you miserable on another level. sad )

My hospital bag has been packed for about ten weeks now! (^-^) But then, we've been in a state of "any day now" forever. Of course this means I've been without my favorite pajama pants for ten weeks, but at least I know I have everything I need by the door.
I'm with you on the cold thing... Everyone in my house suddenly came down with colds or a fit of allergies or something, but we're all sneezing, coughing, and constantly blowing our noses. I'm down to just a sore throat and the occasional toe-curling sneeze; thank God that's it. Raelin has a seriously runny nose (something I was hoping to avoid till it got cold out) and I have been chasing her all over the house with tissues. Mark is hoping his cough is gone by tomorrow morning, because....
Unless my water breaks tonight, I am having Logan tomorrow! I opted for induction and they were able to fit me in tomorrow morning! Hurray!! Mark's already been through a mild anxiety attack about the whole thing, but at least he won't have to have the pressure of getting me to the hospital after I go into labor, so he was able to calm down and his brain started working properly again (^-^) Good thing to, because he was driving. Now he's just aflutter about everything that needs to be done tonight.
For such a big guy, he really does flutter about in worry amazingly well...

I want to say that Logan was in the top 20 names for one of the last years here... whee
That's what happened when we picked Ethan as well. We didn't realize just how popular it was going to be and down here, we don't hear it too much. I think since we had him, we've known one or two other people that have either a grandchild or a child with the same name. When we went home in May, our Ethan was one of FOUR at the playground, spanning in ages 2-5.

Thank you all!
We knew the name Logan was in the top 20, but it's placing lower than "Conner". Unfortunately, a lot of Irish names are really popular right now. We chose off of heritage (Mark's mother is full blood Irish). My brother-in-law's first response to the name was that he was gonna call Logan "baby Wolverine".
All went really well on Friday. I actually got to have an epidural and it made all the difference in the world. My first delivery was really bad.
I'll post pictures later... maybe tomorrow. Right now, I gotta go get my little one. (^-^)
