I didn't take Psych until Intro to Psychology in college and it was pretty easy XD; Granted we also had a real laid back class and professor...

>lolly< I wanted to take pysch. in high school but didn't get a chance to. My friends said I'd be the one they'd analyze. D: I want to take lots of different elective classes to expand my mind. :3 Never know when something you happened to learn could blossom into a great idea for a pic or something. Also...I think most classes are only as hard as you make them. >_> If you don't try you won't make it.

My best friend is taking a pysch. this year...i miss her crying
I want to take alot of different electives too...but its really hard to choose when theres soo many, so i just go with ones i've been interested in, or sound interesting. the only class i've ever found hard was maybe my drama class in 8th grade, only cause the class i was in was made up mostly of people that didnt want to be there...after one performance people wanted my autograph lol

Physics is a hard class. Was for me anyways. >___ biggrin I liked most of what I learned in that class tho. The math part was just hard. sad I scored well on homework but not on tests for some reason. Maybe I rush. My school did mostly musicals and I can't sing, so I had to stay away from drama. U_U

I pulled myself out of Theater when I was in middle school D: I hated art classes at that time but not enough so to put up with Theater and making a fool of myself outside of my set circle of friends.

I don't recall how tough Physics was for me. I might've had major senioritis by then and figured as long as I passed and graduated I couldn't give a flip anymore XD;;; Not to mention Physics was an elective science and I didn't *need* it to graduate. I just needed to fill space.

edit: Eek! It's nearly 1 am D: I'm off to bed kiddos! Night!

I might dally in 3D animation sometime in life, so I figured physics would be a good class to learn stuff. I was interested in force, acceleration, and etc, but the stuff about currents and other things were extremely boring. And yup, 1am for me too. Time to snooze. I'm half-dead anyways. G'nite. biggrin

I took 3D Animation in high school as well XD; I didn't have the patience for it and I preferred the drawing aspects. I wish I hadn't forgotten something to copy my animations onto though ;3; But no, now they're gone forever.

I don't have any fancy qualifications either D: Just an expensive piece of paper in a folder that says I paid SCAD a lot of money and then some. I personally think anyone with a job, regardless of what it is, is doing better than myself at the moment XD; now that school is starting I really have no excuse to not be looking for a job D:

lpd; You're a junior right? Only two more years XD You'll be fine! *cheers you on*
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 1:35 pm

Yup Duckie, ande I now get all the lovely stuff that juniors before me got...a $40 fine just to go to my senior prom, a $35 fine for something or other (they never explained it), and a $5 fine just so i can have my face on a piece of plastic that says i go to the school and that i can check out books from the library!!! And if i dont pay all of this, i dont graduate...damn bastards stare

And i'm looking for a job too Duckie, just one for after school, that'll put some more money in my pocket, and help me save up for college lol

EDIT: Now that i think about it...all my life i've been working to just get a fancy piece of paper...wow... eek

school already started for me...it is actually good to be back...

I used to have two great jobs...one as a baton twirling trainer and the other as some sort of a night guard at a school, just lock the doors and turn off the lights sit there for 6 hours doing whatever and get paid for it...C:
PostPosted: Sun Aug 24, 2008 2:42 pm

lpd; $40 isn't too bad for prom... but they're making you pay it whether or not you go? (actually my senior prom was free as long as you were a senior from my high school... dates from other grades or other schools had to buy a ticket for like $50 I think? D: ). We never paid for our IDs either course they only started doing those halfway through high school for me so I dunno how they do it these days. Even in college though our first one was free but if we lost it (or they refused to comp it even if one of the lunch ladies was the one who broke it neutral ) it was $25 to replace D:

I completely disagree about your high school diploma though. It's not just a fancy piece of paper. A degree, maybe. But you will have a tough time getting anywhere without your high school education. At least that's imo.

And don't get me wrong when I say I paid for a fancy piece of paper XD; I mean, I did actually learn a lot at SCAD both as an artist and as a person. But at least as far as illustration specifically goes, I don't need a degree to get a job. It's nice to have it though in case I wanna do things like teaching and such. 3nodding

Argh! Back to the stress and constant drawing... I barely have time to draw ANYTHING that isn't related to my two projects... I have like 25-30 pages of comics to do before the 13th of September. >.<

But it's worth it. 3nodding
