Remaining crouched on the floor, Abigail propped her hand in her chin and stared up at Finagle.

"Mister Finagle, I do not have your tools. Perhaps you left them behind after you ran into a wall or whatever knocked you out?" She turned her gaze down to the dog and set about petting the scamp.

Now, Abigail had never before seen the elf woman that entered the room. She had never heard of the woman boarding -of course she was never sure of who was coming or going lately- and had certainly never been told the lady was a performer. So when the woman walked into the infirmary and announced her presence, it was all Abigail could do not to pitch a fit over her costume and wig. Turning her head back to the dog quickly to hide her smirk, she was suddenly likening the woman to a living, breathing operetta. There was an overwhelming urge to know if this woman had ever played Cunegunde.

Having composed herself, Abigail turned back to the woman, smiled sweetly and stood.

"Hello."

"What's happening here?" Martha paled when she noticed the man in a... less than normal situation.

The elf began to feel uneasy in her stomach. She could see the dog she saw earlier next to the woman.

"Achoo! It's that stupid mutt again. Achoo!"

Abigail crossed her arms and looked at the dog then back to the woman, managing to keep her amusement well locked.

"Ah, allergies?" She nodded and shrugged a bit. "It was always cats for me."

She glanced back at Finagle, eyeing him and the clank behind him, wanting to be certain he would be looked after until she could be sure he hadn't gone completely loopy from the hits to his head.

"Mr. Finagle has undergone a few accidents and is in the process of recovering, rather unsuccessfully I might add. He's terribly fidgity." She turned again to the woman. "Now I don't believe I know who you are."

He rubs his brows as he glances at the elf, trying to remember where he met her, something clicks in his abused brain as he mindlessly says out loud "You're that exhibitionist that was running around in the gallery earlier!" He shifts his legs and swings them over to the edge side of the bed. "Now if you will excuse me...I need to find my tools and fix that engine!"

((Aw that's alright Blue~ ^^ ))

[bridge]

Alexandria nodded and grinned tiredly at Penelope before clambering up the ladder into the adjoining navigation platform.

From her new perch, Alexandria could see nothing off the Khaos except the last few feet of deck towards the bow, and the long metal rod that pointed her course.

The clank had somehow managed to pull itself up the hatch and was seated in the corner nearest the aft muttered 'blang' quietly to itself while looking at her with forlorn...robotic eyes. How did it even manage to pull off such an expression without even changing it's face?

Alexandria felt sparks leaping past her as lightning struck the lightening rod about the bridge and she shivered, glad the Khaos was fairly safe from that sort of thing.

Turning her eyes towards the window, she glanced into the wide eye piece of the thick brass telescope mounted by the glass. Almost immediately after focusing, she felt a cold sweat rolling down her back. Hurriedly she grasped the speaking tube to the bridge and dragged it towards her.

"Navigation platform to Bridge." She said as calmly as possible."Bridge, The horizon is no longer visible. Neither is the ground for that matter. The Storm is completely around us, visibility 0%"

(( Guess what?! I'm making a dove-tailed vest top to match my bustled skirt soon! It is going to be lovely~ ))

(thats it. im drawing the brdige to avoid confusion. the nav seat is just above the pilots seat... the cart room is one ladder up. s'all good for now tho. expect a sketch sometime in the next few days)

[bridge]
"Lovely," the Captain mutters, "Zero viability of the horizon the stars and all the electrical charge in the air is playing havoc with the instruments...."

Best thing to do was maintain their course as best they could and ride out the storm.

Hearing another loud explosion in the direction of the hold, Daniel turns to Penelope, "Is Ms Burno still in the Hold? I cant imagine whats going on down there, but it does worry me. We did well in that battle against the pirates, but a storm is much more abusive to a ship. adding mad science mishaps to it wont be good for the Khaos."

As it was they would need some extensive repairs once they reached Cog Island. Dan was glad he decided to take the supplies after all, the left over cash after paying his crew would take care of most of the repairs he hoped, he would use his share to help with that.

Daniel stops a miniute, "Hey, Alexandria, didnt you go to eat? what made you all come back?"

(( in the old map you drew, and then the newer one that I dress..the navigation deck is the level above the bridge though.. >: ))

Alexandria paused as she glared angrily out the hazy window before her.

"Captain you call for all hands to help, so I thought food could be.." her stomach grumbled unhappily, "could be postponed for a while longer." She said, looking firmly at her stomach. " you will get your spoils later. " She muttered.

"I did say that didnt I? I'm sorry, I didnt intend to steal you away from eating. when things get troublesome i get into the commanding officer mode i had hammered into me during my time in the air force. Go eat, We will just have to ride this out. the storm is lessening, and we seem to be immune to the lightning."

With the winds not as bad as before, the Khaos could keep a somewhat steady course now. albeit blindly. "If we get off course, we will just take our time and get back on it as fast as The Khaos will allow us."

[somewhere in Wuneye's mind scape]

Wuneye was in the midst of the fight of his life.

His sword and and shield were badly chipped and scarred. His armor was slashed in many places. while the wounds them selves didnt bleed, they still hurt.

The Legendary Wuneye stood several paces away, his own sword and sheild out, For every lesson, every question, there came a attack. a wrong answer resulted in being cut up, a correct answer a near miss.

Wuneye was at his limit, being pushed as to his limits in battle and have to complete all the lessons from every text book a normal person learned from in their life time in one sitting.

"Next lesson, Chivelry"

Alexandria nodded to the Captain, suddenly feeling completely drained. She clambered down from the navigation platform and drew up a weary curtsy to Daniel and Penelope and exited the room.

((note!: I am going on a jazz band trip tomorrow morning, and will not return until sunday, so when next you hear from me..it will be Sunday in ..real world timing.

so then, Alexandria, the day's excitement having finally caught up with her is going go to the kitchen and help herself to a bowl of soup, and then fall asleep at the table, whereas the odd clank will carry her back to her room. She can sleep until I get back~
See you all soon!"))

Myles gets up and brushes himself off, then looks at what he's wearing.

"Hmp. Isn't the first time I've worn a kilt."

[wuneye's mindscape]

"well now, there may be a glimmer of hope yet for you boy. Don't lose yourself again. the next time we meet i will continue our lessons. Farewell my large friend"

Wuneye is currently laying on his back, physically and mentally spent to the point of complete exhaustion. "Aye sire, I shall do better when we meet again."

"Time to go back boy"

the knight turns and walks away, Wuneye's white void of his mind fades to black.

----

[hold]
Wuneye groans, opening his eyes again to the word from beyond always brought a headache. Not to mention half a lifetime worth of knowledge had been crammed in his skull.

his armor was laying to one side, badly damaged by the detonation of the work chamber. looking down at himself, he is shocked to see that he is completely repaired. the tone of his skin had gone from rotting corpse green to slightly dead blue. definite improvement there. the muscles were all aligned as they should be, as he found out by getting out of the dent in the floor he had made.

looking around he notices the room is in even worse shape than it had been. Spotting a man nearby, he asks "Pardon me, but have you seen a lady Sparky around? I'd like to thank here for repairing me." Then catching the mans garb adds "did you know you are wearing a dress sir?"

Something about that outfit in particular tickled at the back of his mind.

(wuneye is a bit smarter now, but he is still rather gullible)

"No, actually it is a kilt, even though it is black and not tartan. Quite clever of her, really. I don't think I'll even bother changing, this is rather dashing."

He pauses a moment and adds, "I may have to do something about the undergarments though."

Martha slightly fumed at the man's comment. It was not her fault if she was sleeping when she first saw the dog.

"You'll be -achoo!- fixing -achoo!- the ship like that? Don't you -achoo!- need some help?" she asked him before blowing off her nose. "I am very talented with tools", she added, her ears twitching.

((Whee! A chance to see Martha failing at tweaking!))

[sickbay]

He glanced up and down her figure, she didn't look like the sort who could tell a spanner from a screwdriver to save her life, but experience from the past told him quickly to never judge a book by it cover or face the consequences. He rubs the back of his head and sighs "Do you know where the hanger is? I think i left my tools there. And where's that Scotsman? He could help us out as well." He wobbly stands up, leaning on the clank to keep him from falling.
