After about thirty minutes of watching Alucard learn how to dodge he stopped the battle again and switched him with Phoenix and had both Weed and Alucard attack her. He almost laughed when he saw that Phoenix had a much harder time learning how to dodge then both of his other pokemon. It took her about an hour to get it down. Tony shook his head in amusement and bent down to pick up Weed and Phoenix seeing that they were clearly exausted and he felt the now becoming familiar weight of Alucard on his shoulder. "Well I guess its time for us to head to the pokemon center for a nice nights sleep." That being said Tony went back to the bridge and headed into the pokemon center delivering his pokemon to Nurse Joy for the night before crashing in his room again.

Nina nodded. "Of course we'll come! I'm very much looking forward to seeing you kick Surge's tush." Sabrina grinned. "Yes, it'd be nice to see another gym leader's strategy..."
Anna and Regal looked aside, and were quiet. Eventually, they both agreed that they would come to watch as well.
And with that, the group headed off toward Vermillion's gym.

She walked to the left a bit and found a Casino. "Too bad I have no money for a Coin Case, more or less coins." She said chuckling a bit.

((Good morning, guys. Is it safe to assume we all made it to the gym without incident?))
Kasiya rode at a steady pace, occasionally doing a bunny hop or a wheelie, Shocker excitedly urging her on as the two of them made their way to the gym. Sabrina and Nina were in tow, but not far behind. They turned onto the street that led to the gym, and Kasiya was surprised to see that several people had gathered outside its doors. She came to a halt, and quickly folded up her bike and put it away (as best as one could put away a folding bike), and let the two psychics catch up to her. "We're here," she gestured with her arm, feeling the first butterflies of excitement fluttering around her stomach.
She walked up to the people, taking note that the electrical display wasn't active yet. Then again, it wasn't quite seven yet either. There were many people she knew, family friends, people who often visited the gym. Blushing slightly, she waved.
"I know this will be a great battle," Officer Jenny saluted her.
"Right," Kasiya said, returning the salute.
"I wish you the best of luck," Vermilion's Nurse Joy said smiling. "Are you sure your Pokemon are in tip top shape?"
"Very sure," Kasiya reassured her, and Shocker sparked her cheeks for further proof.
Next in line was Professor Oak. He had been chatting with her mother, but now turned to her, wearing a broad grin. "I've been looking forward to this battle since I gave you that PokeDex," he said, and winked. "I'm sure you don't need it, but good luck."
"Thanks, Professor," Kasiya smiled. "I'm sorry for hanging up on you this morning," she said sheepishly.
"That's no problem," he chuckled. "Happens more often than you think."
Her mother was next, waiting with open arms. "Good luck honey," she said, hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek.
"Aw Mom!" Kasiya protested. "Not in front of my friends!"
"Nonsense," Mia smiled, and kissed Shocker's head too. "Make me proud," she said, as Kasiya reached the doors of the gym.
"Thanks everyone," she said, as she reached for the handle.

Kasiya's hand was millimeters away from the door handle when the pillars of the gym were suddenly lit up with sparkling electricity. The giant bolts arched off on another, creating that same cracking hum Kasiya was so very fond of. Shocker's cheeks lit up with sparks as well - she could't wait to get out there and show that Raichu she meant business. Kasiya glanced one more time at the group as she stepped inside, ready for battle. She knew this time around, she'd have to solve the puzzles to unlock the door, and her friends and any other spectators would be ushered around a separate passage way to the main arena of the gym. The lights in the room where she was in flashed on, and rows and rows of what looked like trash cans filled the room. She took a deep breath, and walked inside.
She'd taken maybe five steps when one of her father's cohorts stepped out from behind one of the cans.
"It's about time, Kassie," he said, giving her a big hug. "Don't expect me to go easy on you just because you're Jack's little girl, ya hear me?"
"Don't expect me to go easy either," she grinned.
"Alright then. Let's go! Voltorb!" the orb-like Pokemon materialized in front of her, and Kasiya sized it up.
It's speedy, likes to explode, she thought, grinning to herself. She didn't want Shocker fighting yet, so she unhooked a Pokeball and tossed it. "Let's go! Seto!" The Meowth appeared in front of her, his claws at the ready.
"Voltorb! Waste no time! Sonic Boom!" the trainer ordered. The ever-speedy Voltorb obeyed, as it spun on the spot. An invisible force streaked along the ground at Seto, who took the hit, but shrugged it off.
Kasiya grimmaced, knowing that attack did a set amount of damage, but also knew that Seto wouldn't last against many. "Screech, Seto!" Kasiya cried, and the Meowth nodded, the Soothe Bell tinkling around his neck. He let out a sound that could make ears bleed, and the Voltorb flinched from the sound, and glowed green. It's physical defences had temporarily been decreased. However, it didn't take long for Voltorb to retaliate with a Spark attack, and Seto cried out as the electricity rippled through his body. Kasiya had Seto counter with a Scratch, and it did a good amount of damage thanks to Voltorb's lowered defence. Voltorb led of the next round with a Tackle attack, which Seto took on the chin. He flew back several feet, looking worse for wear.
"If you can't get past me," the trainer chuckled, "you won't be able to defeat Surgey!"
Kasiya grit her teeth, knowing that if she didn't defeat all the trainers in this room first, she'd never get to battle her father.

((Morning, Aire. Lots of people have school today, huh?)) After a good night's sleep in the Pokemon Center, Ryka woke up early, hoping to get some training in before the Gym battle. Thunder and Aura were wide awake, playing tag in her little room. When she awoke, they both ran up to her and sat, particularly hungry. "Okay, guys, I'll get some food." Ryka got out of bed and stretched, looking out the window to a beautiful clear sky. She quickly got changed and went into the lobby, where Nurse Joy was handing out bowls of Pokemon Food and cereal.
"Good morning, everyone! Are you hungry?" Nurse Joy asked while putting down two bowls. Aura and Thunder ran up to them and, in about five minutes, were done. Ryka ate her cereal quickly too, and they all headed outside.
"Okay, guys, we're going to train today, so we can go beat Misty, okay?" Both of her Pokemon nodded, and ran ahead of her to Nugget Bridge. She walked past all the trainers, whom all probably reconized her, but she noticed the big manwith the Mankey wasn't there. He asked if I wanted to join Team rocket, right? Mabye he went back to them.. She thought as they all walked towards Bill's house.

"Don't give up, Seto!" Kasiya encouraged the Meowth. He looked back at her and staggered to his feet, readying his claws. "That's the way! Screech again!" she cried. Seto released the ear-splitting sound once more as Voltorb sent anther Sonic Boom his way. Seto saw this one coming, and jumped straight up as the attack went underneath him. Voltorb's temporary green glint noted his defenses were even lower then before, and Kassie knew one more solid Scratch from Seto could end it.
"Charge up, Voltorb!" the trainer cried, and Voltorb started to charge power, drawing energy from all around it. Seto took the opportunity to Screech again, dropping the defences as low as they could go. "Spark!" the trainer ordered, and Voltorb released the powerful electric attack at Seto, who was rushing in with his claws ready. His claws raked across the Voltorb's body as the electricity flowed through him, but he clenched his teeth and kept up the attack. Voltorb's eyes fluttered shut and he rolled over, face down in the ground. Seto staggered to his trainer's feet before collapsing with a sigh.
"Wow," was all the trainer was able to say, as he recalled his fallen Voltorb. Kasiya picked up the weakened Meowth, who fainted in her arms. "You've certainly become a fine trainer," he nodded, before leaving the room. Kasiya sighed, and recalled Seto, hoping he was resting well. She started to dig through the first trash can to find the switches that would open the door to the room where her father waited.

Digging through trash wasn't the best game in the world, but she had to find the first switch in order to make the second one appear. She remembered her father had once said that once you find the first switch, the second one appears and is adjacent to the first one. She'd dug through about seven cans before she found her first switch, then had to decide which one of the four surrounding it held the second switch. She picked the one closest to her, which resulted in a resounding buzzing noise, meaning she'd picked wrong. She sighed, and started searching again.
"It's not as easy is it looks, is it?" a young man said, coming up behind her. He had stringy blonde hair and intense green eyes, he also had an electric guitar strapped to his back.
"Glen, hey," Kasiya smiled at him. "And no, it really isn't. I always thought that this part would be easy," she laughed.
"Well, sorry to interrupt your search, but you know you must defeat me in order to keep going." He held a Pokeball at the ready.
"Meh, not like my search was going well anyways," she chuckled, then her face was completely serious. "Bring it," she said simply.
"You've got it. Let's go, two each! Magnemite!" he cried, releasing a magnet-like Pokemon that looked just like Proton. Kasiya grinned, and didn't think twice before throwing her Pokeball.
"Sick 'em, Growly,!" she laughed, as her newly evolved Arcanine burst from his Pokeball. She made a side note to find a more suitable name for him in the future as he howled up at the ceiling.
"Hoo boy," Glen sighed. "Well, we're not going down without a fight! Magnemite! Use Thunder Wave!"
"Growly, Flame Wheel," Kasiya said smugly. The Arcanine was much quicker than the Magnemite, and his body became engulfed with flames. He jumped into the smaller Magnemite, the type advantage in his favor. Magnemite took double damage and hit the ground hard with a resounding clang. The Arcanine padded back to his mistress and sat at her heels, his giant tongue lolling out of the side of his mouth. He was a foot taller than her at the shoulder! "Nice one," she said, ruffling his mane.
"I've always admired Arcanine," Glen smiled, knowing he was beat. "Maybe I should have joined Blaine's gym on Cinnabar Island." He took his second Pokeball in his hand, and threw it. A Magneton showed itself, spinning around in all directions.
"Electricity suits you better," Kasiya nodded, and sent Growly on the attack. "This'll be a one-shot deal," she smirked. "Flamethrower!" Growly leapt to his feet and reared back - but was suddenly hit by a strong Thunderbolt. He went to his knees, yelping from the pain. "Hey, what gives?" she asked, looking from Glen to the Magneton to Growly. She looked back at the Magneton, and saw a Quick Claw hanging from a cord around one if its three magnets. "Ah. I see. Very sneaky," she smiled.
"I have to get at least one hit in," he smirked as Growly got to his feet, roared angrily, and loosed a jet of flames from his mouth. The fire consumed the Magneton's body, and it hit the ground in the same manner Magnemite did, only with a louder clang. Growly roared triumphantly into the ceiling, and Kasiya was sure they could easily hear him in the next room.
Glen departed, leaving her with the trash cans again. She recalled Growly, who was prancing around happily, obviously enjoying his new form and power. She started digging again, and this time checked at least nintey percent of them before she heard the first electric lock click open.

((*le yawn* I'm finally here-- I overslept. xd ))
"The second lock is not far from this," Regal commented after Kasiya had discovered the first lock. The Pokemon carefully looked over the remaining trash can barrels.
"Be careful, Regal," Sabrina said, "don't actually look into any of the trashcans-- if you do and you pick the wrong one, both locks will be reset."
Nina looked at her sister. "How did you know that? You've never been here before..."
Sabrina grinned a little, and pointed to her head. "Duh."

Mike had followed Kasiya inside the Gym with Nitro, Portabello, Shiver and Proton.
"Hi Nina!" Mike practically leapt up and hugged his friend. "It's been just a liiiiittle too long since I've seen you!" Mike happily bounced up and down, his gaze met Sabrina's. His eyes widened a little at her seemingly warm gaze She's even more beautiful in person! He thought to himself. Oh wait. CRAP! She's a psychic!

"Score!" Kasiya said, looking around. This can was in a corner, so that meant there were only two cans that could hold the lock. "Bloody hell...I don't know which one to pick," she wailed, looking from can to can.
"Pikachu!" Shocker cried, and jumped to the floor. She started poking at the one on the left.
"That one, you think?" Kasiya aked, and the Pikachu nodded furiously. "Okay...we'll see." She took a deep breath and plunged her hand into the can....
...and breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the sound of the second lock clicking open. The cans all retracted into the floor at once, leaving no indication they'd even been there. "Onward we go," she said, taking a deep breath.
"Not quite yet, my dear," a familiar voice said, coming up from behind her.
Kasiya wheeled on one foot to see an elderly gentleman coming towards her. "Mr. Reid!" she exclaimed. "It's so wonderful to see you!" Mr. Reid had been the owner of the Manectric named Manny that'd passed away. The gentleman's eyes were brown and warm, full of wisdom and kindness.
"I see you've activated the locks," he winked, and took out a Pokeball. "But you must pass one final test before you see your father. And that test is me."

Nina jumped as Mike hugged her, mostly out of sheer surprise, however she hugged him back after a moment. "It's so good to see you, Mike!" She smiled, and eventually got out of his grip.
Regal walked over to Sabrina and stood besider her. Sabrina grinned a little bit. "Hello, Michael," she said, and shook his hand. "I am Sabrina Williams, Saffron's gym leader, and Nina's sister... although I'm sure you already knew that."
A moment later, she added, "You shouldn't think so loudly. People might hear you."

Mike's face turned scarlet for a moment as he turned away. "Hmph, three psychics, I can't think at all around here."
Nitro rolled his eyes, as did Portabello and Shiver. He's such a looney...

Sabrina chuckled, and turned to see Kasiya speaking to a man, who had pulled out a Pokeball.
Nina grinned a little. "Cool, it looks like Kasiya's going to have another battle!" Angel let herself out of her Pokeball and said, "Chansii chan!"
Nina looked to her Pokemon and smiled. "Angel! You're next on the evolution list!" Her Pokemon bounced around from foot to foot with happiness.
