mightychi Claudia was glad that Jase seemed to be as comfortable with her as she was with him. "If someone took the time to see past your appearance, they would see that you're a nice guy. I'm sorry I freaked out on you." Embarassed at the way she acted, Claudia blushed again as she looked away from Jase and moved her hand. "No, it's alright. I had sort of expected it." Jase rubbed the back of his neck. He hadn't been 'alive' for very long but he already figured everything out and knew what to expect. "Some people might not be as nice as you, though. They might not look at me past my skin...and I don't want to frighten them or make them angry."

"Yes, your appearance is a bit... shocking at first. For what it's worth I have a feeling you were extremely handsome before." Claudia smiled at Jase. "Is there any way you can get your old appearance back?"

ShtrDrNGry Ah, hai...People do get like that sometimes, don't they? That'd been the reason he'd ventured off this evening as well, actually. How long are you going to stay here, do you know? "Until the entire crew is begging me to take them back out to sea on their hands and knee's." Kylina replied, quite simply. "If they can't reconcile their differences, they can stay on land. It makes no difference to me."

Jase felt his cheeks grow hot. Blood still pumped through him, just slower than when he was alive. "I'm not really sure. It might be a bit of a challenge just finding someone to look at me first." He shifted a little, stretching his legs out. "I must seem rude talking just about myself... I guess I should be asking you questions too."

Claudia laughed. "Not at all. If anything, I'm the one being rude, asking you so many questions about yourself. But you have to admit, you are just a little bit fascinating."

"If they can't reconcile their differences, they can stay on land. It makes no difference to me." Ah, Shinji nodded some and looked to the ground a moment before tilting his head back to the girl. Do you know people here that you could stay with, or is everyone just on their own as to where they're going to rest their heads while you're in port? He felt a little silly trying to use nautical terms, but figured he might as well.

"Well, some of them stay on the ship, and others have found various hotels and taverns to stay in. We're trying to keep everyone who's angry with each other away from each other." She chuckled. "But that can get hard, sometimes."

Well, the Underground is pretty big...so maybe you'll have better luck keeping everyone who's angry away from eachother. Shinji shrugged some, and pulled his hand from his pocket to offer the girl a piece of watermelon gum.

Kylina smiled and accepted the gum. "Thank you." She said. "I suppose so. We've been doing pretty goo on not having our brawls off the ship." She shrugged again.

Jase laughed a bit. "I can't say I've ever had someone think of me as fascinating before." He shifted a bit where he sat. "So, have you always lived here? In the Underground, I mean?"

Liegia wandered into the graveyard for the herbs she needed. She wanted to practice what she had learned at school so despite her skittishness at graveyards this was the only way to gain the herb. If she recalled correctly it had a thick green stalk with a odd lookig purple blossom. It had spiky petals almost like a cactus. Taking out her glasses she put them on and started looking, not realizing so many other people were also here.

That's good. I suppose when you spend so much time in such close quarters with people day in and day out, you just need a break. The boy offered a smile and shift his weight on his feet, feeling a little awkward about chatting it up in the cemetary.

She heard voices and figured there must be other people here. Maybe one of them might know of the herb she needed. She started toward the voices and hoped she wouldn't make a fool of herself. When she got there it was just her luck to trip over an unseen root. She fell forward, her pack flying a few feet forward. She was so embaressed that all she could do for a moment was blush and sit there. She mumbled an apology and started gathering her things back inside her pack.

"Mm." Kylina nodded. "Yes, there develops a certain need for separation, depending on the people and their relationship." She dug her toe into the soft grass a bit. That was when the girl fell in on them. "Ah, hello?" She said, unsure, looking at her.

Liegia blushed madly. I am so sorry, I was just looking for an herb so I could practice. She finished gathering her things back into her pack and held it to her tightly like a kind of protection. She wanted to just disappear, mortified so she did the next best thing. She walked through the tree's and rested her back against one of them, trying to recover from her clutzyness.
