Couldn't we put some Ravenclaws into Gryffindor and Hufflepuff?
I'm sure we can find a way.

As long as Super tried her best...
Turayza is smart...she copied and pasted. I was really stupid and instead I typed up similar PMs to people. Sadly, I got bored after the first...3 PMs?

Ah, but that would be slightly unfair to the teams, the other houses and the Ravenclaws who got...transferred. I'm sure they'll get enough members for Quidditch...-yawns exhaustedly-

We have three slots filled (including me) and yes copy and paste are no longer my friends! This frustrates me quite a bit, but you can only do so much!

Oh, I do hope that more Gryffindors try out. How many Gryffindors are frequent users?
As for Hufflepuff, our captain has announced that we have passed the mandatory number for team members, woo! 4laugh

 Hey guys - I just entered the avatar arena for the first time! *dances* I'm really excited about it! With the new item update I bought the blue because they're totally Ravenclaw colors and then realized that if I changed my hair I could do a Rowena cosplay. So I entered - for next week, voting starts on monday. I'll post again but I'd love the support from you all! Here's what it looks like:

UPDATE!  Hello mates!
February first just a few days away! SEND IN YOUR FORMS ASAP, if you are interested in trying out for your house's Quiddetch team! You could win your house some points, and everyone who tries out is entered to win a January 2008 Monthly Collectible Letter! Don't mess this opprotuniteh! Teams are still a bit shabby, and we could use anyone and everyone who's willing to play!

Is AP or IB better?
Should I go for a 4.0 GPA or tons of advanced classes?

Holy cow, I asked the exact same question in the Ravenclaw commons. Mostly what I got was that AP was important, and no one knew exactly what IB was XD
I'd suggest taking AP and getting as good of a GPA as possible. The IB Diploma would be nice, but if you're in the States AP is better known with colleges and more easily accepted.
Oh yeah, I have a question...do Gryffindor and Slytherin have enough members to play the February game? And when is it likely to be? (Maybe I should post this in the Quidditch threads...)

If Gryffindor or Slytherin don't have enough players and the first game has to be postponed, I think I'll try my hand at Beating by grabbing a bat and cracking a few heads.

ANNOUNCEMENT! RESULTS ARE COMING IN!
Great news! As of February 1st, the contests are over!
The Team Captains are sending Madam Hooch the final letters approving ALL the names of those who tried out PRIOR to February 1st, and their team positions! As soon as all the letters are in, the team information will be announced, along with the winner of the January 2008 Monthly Collectible Letter and the House that wins the points for getting the most applicants!
Thess does NOT mean try-outs are OVER! As a matter of fact, try-outs never end! Thess just marks the end of the pre-season try-outs, and your chance to enter the contests! En other words: The CONTESTS are over; the TRY-OUTS are NOT!
Good luck to the contestants/applicants! You've all done a remarkable job!

Yeah, it's really strange. Everyone is like, "be on the team, go team, cheer cheer cheer..." But it's the same few people so now one else is going on.
Personally, I don't exactly have time for it, so even though it may seem like I post enough... a lot... That's the only thing I do on Gaia and then I log off in five minutes. >.<
I don't like Quidditch that much either, now that I think about it. I like watching much better (think watching football and playing football American style)!
