Nieth raised her eyebrows as she noticed the scars. Shoving the dress suddenly at Micoi, she reached into the deep pockets of her dress, pulling out a small bottle of a cream colored lotion.

"This will hurt a little," she stated calmly, dabbing some of it onto one of the longer ones on her shoulder. "But I suppose you're used to that."

"What? Oh," Micoi laughed embarrased as she took the dress, her light wince hardly visible. "Well... that's what happens when you live in Arinas and in a... not so populated area. But Kanak has got some bigger ones, though he's lived there much longer than me," she said with a smile at the thought of the youkai. "I usually wear an armor but it doesn't always protect me or I forget it. You can't cry over some scratches, Kanak always says. I could take them away with my Eyes, I guess..."

Nieth nodded. "Who is Kanak? I've been hearing his name a lot in the short time I've been here. He sounds like he's someone close to you. Your father?" She continued to dab at her scars, leaving the poultice on in order to fade the marks.

The young woman blinked and then seemed to remember that no one here would, logically, know the man she spoke of. Laughing, feeling a bit silly, she smiled. "You could say that. He's the youkai who found me and took care of me after my parents were killed when we were on our way back to Dusis when I was about five years old. I'm 108 now. He's like my foster father, brother, friend and lover." Right after saying it she remembered the reaction they had gotten from Jett and his troupe when Kanak had said just that. Oh... oops, she thought, waiting for the reaction that was bound to follow, whatever it now would be.

"I see." Nieth closed the jar and slid it back into her pocket. Sliding the dress onto Micoi, she took hold of the ties in the back of the corset and pulled them very slightly tigher than needed.

"Was," she said, not a little coldly. "He was your lover. It doesn't matter what happened in Arias, but you are in Draqueen now and you are to marry the Lord Jett." She continued to lace the dress up, then added in a more cordial tone, "if you would like to know anything about him, you may ask me. I assure you, my answers will be much more interesting and informative than anything he will tell you. Did you know, when he was three, he took off his clothes at a royal dinner and refused to get dressed again?"

Ouch, Micoi thought at the light stab she felt at that line. Well, she guessed that people didn't take so kindly to youkai over here.
Micoi's eyes widened in surprise and amusement at what the maid said next. "Really?" she laughed lightly. "Well, he hasn't told me anything yet, we just met after all." Looking down at the dress, she smiled slightly. It was a pretty thing... but the neckline did end up fairly low, even more so for her probably due to her being a little smaller than the previous owner. Oh well, she had never been ashamed over her body, but now she might just feel a little sorry for everyone else perhaps... That was fairly low, and with the corset...

The head maid finished adjusting the corset, then brushed off the dress, spinning Micoi around to take a closer look. "Yes, not bad. I always liked this one. I used to be in charge of cleaning this room and these clothes, and this one was always my favorite. I'm glad there's finally someone to wear it. The last Queen didn't wear it more than once or twice. I think it looks better on you," she confided with a smile. "Now," she pushed past her and to the low table and mirror across the room. "Let's find you some jewelry. Are your ears pierced? Don't rub at that lotion, honey; I don't want to have to clean it out of the dress."

Micoi smiled back at her, glad to see something warmer occupying the other dragon's face. "Jewelry?" she asked surprised but nodded at the head maid's question about her ears. "Is that really necessary? I've never worn much to anything before. It always came in the way during the fighting... Same for my hair," she noted, mostly to herself, as she touched it. "I once considered cutting it but Kanak wouldn't let me," she said as she walked towards the older woman carefully, not being use to long sweeping gowns of this kind. The corset was really odd too.

"Eep! Oh.....Hello there...."Said Celia, clearly more than a little suprised that someone had come up behind her."Have we met....?"She asked quietly, with a little timid (and slightly embarrased) smile, as she realized she had never seen this person in the castle before. That was when she spotted Hayate. "Oh!! You must be the new Wind knight!"She said, rather enthustically....well, for her. "I'm Celia....The water knight..."She added, hoping to clarify confusion about who she was, before anything else was done.

((Right, sorry....Not functioning on eneough sleep and all...and multi-tasking to write essays. Sorry! Now adjusted to make it work...I hope.....))

Midare blinked and her head tilted slightly, hair sliding out of the wait to reveal one pointed ear. "Really?" she asked. "I didn't expect to meet another Knight so fast!" Her own tone was open and quite friendly ... no, not shy at all, this one.

Celia smiled, actually a little suprised by how instantly friendly this other knight was. She glanced back to Hayate. Already they seemed close. Kahaku didn't really seem to like her. She was actually a little envious of the newest addition to the knights.

"So what's all the noise about?" Midare asked after a moment of silence. She was still wearing pretty much the same clothes she'd arrived in, though she'd washed her face and hands. She had seen the outfits hanging in the wardrobe in her room but ... had been a little reluctant to actually try any of them on.

"Oh...Um....Well, I suppose our return..."Celia mumbled, not really sure there had been very much commotion, since she had been getting her leg fixed, and then immediately headed for the library. "I Would guess its because of the new Queen,"She added a little louder, hoping that was what she ment.

"Well, tonight is a fancy occasion," Nieth said, looking through the shelves next to the mirror. "Ah." She carefully picked up a pair of dangling gold chain earrings, two finely cut dark blue stones dangling like teardrops from their ends.

"Try these on." She handed the Queen the earrings and began to look for a matching necklace. "If you aren't used to fancy things, we can look for something simple for tonight. I think there's a gold and navy choker that should match. You need shoes, too. How is the dress? Is it too long?" She turned to the maid standing in slight awe by the door. "Make yourself useful. There should be an old sewing kit somewhere in this room. Find it and bring it to me. You'll want to try looking in the closets."

Baran's head was swimming with confusion by the time he finally made it to the Dragon Officers' studies. The first person he had spoken to had seemed to think that not only were they known of already, but they had been greeted and taken to their rooms. Someone else had said something about the Wind Dragon. Something very odd was going on.

Knocking automatically, he opened the door and stuck his head inside, breathing heavily from his run.

"Um, excuse me sir," he noticed Aiketh a moment later and cut a short bow in her direction. "Commander. I'm bringing news of our arrival. The Dragon Lord Jett has returned with his Queen from Arinas."

Aiketh started from her seat, eyes wide.

"What?" She glanced at Illusia in momentary confusion. They hadn't expected the party to return so quickly! "Where are they?"

Baran thought about this for a moment, slightly flustered. "I... I think they've been escorted to their rooms, actually. I guess I'm a little late."

Baran and Aiketh's meeting was cut short by a knock on the door. Pushing open the door, a junior Dragon Fighter peeked in. "Ahh....excuse me....apparently Lord Jett has returned, and he's calling all of his officers and Knights together for a formal meeting."

A few moments later, the same fighter ran past Midare and Celia, looking flustered. A few paces past them, he stopped suddenly, did an about-face turn and scampered back over to the pair. "M-m-miss Celia, and...ah...I...I forgot your name, Miss Wind Dragon Knight...Wait....Miss Celia?!" He turned BRIGHT red and suddenly stared at the floor. "I..ah...um...Right, Lord Jett is holding a meeting with all his Officers and Knights and...um...." He took a DEEEEEEP breath, "Um.....wouldyouliketomeetmelaterforcoffeeorsomething,MissCelia?"

Illusia also stared in surprise at Baran and when the second interruption for the day came it felt like everything was happening a bit too fast. It was almost too good to be true that they'd gotten the Lord and the queen back so soon.
"Alright, thank you," the Yellow Officer said before the fighter ran off to find the others that would be present at the meeting. Turning his attention onto Aiketh, he smiled. "Well," he sighed lightly, "that was a short vacation," he joked as he stood up. Turning to Baran for a moment, he addressed the younger dragon.
"You've prooved yourself very useful, thank you for keeping our Lord safe. He did have a knight and officer with him and he's not bad at defending himself but you did travel across the sea to Arinas."

Micoi carefully took the jeweled pieces and put them on with light hands. "I think the dress is quite ok, even more so if I get a pair of shoes with some heel. But... do all Dusian dresses fit so tightly and constricted?" She had never worn a corset before and while it wasn't horribly uncomfortable it felt like it would hinder any movement, but somehow she doubted she would need any battle techniques tonight, but still...
