And the next tree was crying. It gurgled something through its tears about loosing glasses.
"Spiders I'll try to look for your glasses," shouted Valendil over the sobbing. Crushing his seemingly sensitive cat ears to his head he stomped about looking for a pair of silly glasses.

"If you don't webbing stop soaking my boots with your stupid tears I shall leave!" Val screamed after a few fruitless minutes. The tree did not stop so the drider honored his threat.
As he stormed about the woods he found another candy tree. "Not this again," he groaned. As the tree was about to greet him, he simply shook out the color, caught the blasted gem, and moved on as the tree called out a thank you. He was done searching for blasted trees.

Getting into a rhythm, flashfire was surprised to find his first tree, now that he'd been given this quest, just over a small rise. Making his way toward it, he tilted his head slightly to the side.
The first tree is a long tree, and bends down to look at you with hollow sleepy eyes as you reach over. "Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."
When you come back the tree is gone.
Withdrawing his hand quickly, he wiped it surreptitiously on his coat, before stepping a little ways off to one side. When he returned a few moments later, the tree was gone. "What kind of place is this...?" he muttered, moving off once again.

Making his way toward another tree, flashfire almost stepped back when he looked on top of it, and caught a flash of white teeth.
You reach a tree and on top of it is a smiling set of teeth. Not the tree itself, just on top of it. "You seem a little lost", says the smiling set of teeth, "but not to worry. Everyone's quite lost here. I hope you find your way, there's so much more for you to get lost in."
Before you can ask what it means, it is gone.
Opening his mouth to say that yes, he was lost, and to perhaps ask the floating teeth to explain themselves, he shut his mouth with an almost audible snap when they disappeared from view. Rolling his eyes, he didn't wait around to see if they'd come back, instead moving on to find another tree.

Approaching another long tree, flashfire eyed this one suspiciously, having learned his lesson (he hoped) from the last one that looked similar.

Deciding he was quite glad that he hadn't actually touched this one, Aedan once again stepped away obligingly, turning his back for a few moments. When he turned around, the tree was, predictably, gone.

Backing up as requested, flashfire could barely resist rolling his eyes as he, once again, turned his back on the tree so that it could 'clean itself up'. Once again, when he turned back around, it had vanished. "Something needs to find a new hobby..." he murmured, although he was not overly annoyed.

Having failed to explore in a timely fashion, flashfire sighed, then made his way out of the area, deciding to try his hand elsewhere.

[ENTER] When the light came back, or maybe just after Ash opened her eyes again the ghoul could see a multitude of trees.... And all of them were of a different color! Amazing, really. Okay, maybe all the eyes were a tiny bit creepy. But really, being a Cheshire cat she knew she could defend herself with her claws if need be.
Curiosity piqued the cat started exploring the woods, until she came to a sign with a ... yellow exclamation mark over it? Ah, that must be a main quest !
