Well, as a genin, you have 25 jutsu points. Each jutsu has a rank, and each rank has a certain amount of points. So, you start with 25. An e-rank jutsu costs 1 point each, so you have 20 jutsu points left because of the 5 starting e-rank ones. Let's say you want your character to be able to use 2 d-rank jutsus you really like, 1 C-rank jutsu you really like, and 1 B-rank jutsu you really like. Since D-Ranks are 2 each, C-ranks are 3 each, and B ranks are 4 each, that'll give you 11. So, 20 - 11 gives you 9 more jutsu points you can spend. Also, the guild doesn't have a jutsu list; just go to Narutopedia and look up any jutsu you want. For those that don't have a rank, you ask a crew member what they think the rank should be.
As for battling, I just assumed that your chakra is equal to your number of jutsu points.
Now, for your jutsu knowledge. You have 6 "setups" of your character; there are different styles of jutsu, and you can decide which style/styles your character is good at. The setups are:
Standard Mastery Setup: 1 Primary, 2 Secondary, 3 Tertiary
Offensive Mastery Setup: 2 Primary, 1 Secondary, 2 Tertiary
Withdrawn Mastery Setup: 1 Primary, 3 Secondary, 1 Tertiary
Prodigy Mastery Setup: 3 Primary, 0 Secondary, 1 Tertiary
Hyper Offensive Mastery Setup: 2 Primary, 2 Secondary, 0 Tertiary
Versatile Mastery Setup: 1 Primary, 1 Secondary, 5 Tertiary
So, let's say I want to go the Withdrawn Mastery Setup. For my primary, I want ninjutsu. I can then learn any ninjutsu up to S-Rank. For my secondary, I want genjutsu, taijutsu, and summoning jutsu. That means I can use any jutsu that falls in those categories up to A-Rank. If I want to learn an S-rank genjutsu, I can't because I only have secondary knowledge on it, and not primary knowledge on it. If I want kenjutsu as my tertiary, I can learn any kenjutsu technique up to B-rank.
Also, if a type of jutsu isn't included in one of your knowledge types, you can't use that type of jutsu at all. So, I decided to go with the setup in the previous paragraph, there is absolutely no way I can learn senjutsu or iryo ninjutsu. Even if it is an E-rank, I still can't learn it (unless yu have a special ability like the sharingan)
For your elements, you only start off with 2 as a genin. You can get three as a chuunin if you type 500 words. You can get 4 as a jounin, and 5 as a kage. If you have a special kekkai genkai, like crystal release, then you can start off with 3 elements: the special combination element part of your kekkai genkai, and the two elements needed to create that special element.
Fix all of that and you should be good.That was in the newest manga! Hell yea I'll learn Amaterasu. I just need to figure out how to get the mangekyou. I don't think I can get it anytime soon, unfortunately.
Also, get Manta to interact with Katsu. I'm pretty bored lol
