Kýojin glanced momentarily over his shoulder before he heard a popping sound before he felt his head jerk to the side as a bullet ricocheted off of his skull and hit one of the flowerpots not too far away. He winced slightly as the wound sealed over, making him exhale slowly.

Merrick chuckled as he headed towards the door. "Good idea," he said with a shrug of one shoulder.

Lorcan followed Cassandra, letting her lead him where she wanted to go. "It seems as if everyone can't get enough of certain activities... makes you wonder how they'd react if that were a punishment," he said with a snorting chuckle.

Rosalyn jumped when she heard the sound and saw the bullet ricochet off of Jin's head. She hurried over to him, but the wound was already healed over. "Are you okay," Rosalyn asked as she looked around trying to figure out where the bullet had come from. ~~~~~~~ Constance's arm was linked with Merrick's as they walked through the halls. "I like him. He seems nice," she said referring to Jin. ~~~~~~~ Cassandra laughed softly. "I know I definitely cannot get enough. But what I said is true. I need to check in on the coven and then we can do whatever we want."

Kýojin grimaced. "Been better. Though I did find files on what they did to me... Very disturbing, to be blunt," he said quietly as he turned away, ignoring the streak of crimson that still trickled down his face though the wound had healed.

Merrick chuckled as he headed towards the door. "He's obviously strong and determined, though he was obviously holding back; I'd hate to see what would piss him off to go all out," he sighed.

Lorcan chuckled. "I don't mind doing whatever is needed. After all, working with Merida helps me to know that sometimes what we'd prefer to do and what we should do isn't always the same," he said with amusement.

"What they do is often disturbing," Rosalyn said with a sigh. An handkerchief appeared in her hand as she moved around Jin and wiped the blood from his face. The cloth disappeared as she turned and continued to walk down the hallway. She could smell the chemicals from the pool drifting their way. ~~~~~~~~ "I will admit that his power is kind of scary," Constance said as she walked with Merrick. "I have never met anyone with so much raw power." Her fingers ran lightly over his arm without her even realizing she was doing it. ~~~~~~~ Cassandra chuckled and nodded. She knew how Merida could be at times. She was both determined and yet could be scatterbrained. She led Lorcan to the room she used as her own study. Each of the elder witches had their own in this place. "This shouldn't take very long," she said softly as she pushed open the door and entered the room. She knew that Lorcan would follow her so she went right to the desk and the globe that sat on top of it. As Cassandra touched it, it flared a brilliant blue color before a young woman's face appeared in it. "Mary Ann, I hope that everything goes well at home?""Yes M'lady," Mary Ann replied with a smile. She had a beautiful voice to listen to and most were entranced by it. "Everything goes well here. No disturbances at all. We have been fortunate." "Good," Cassandra said with relief. "We have had some trouble on our end, but we are all fine here. We even have a few new people with us. I don't know when we will be back. There is so much to do here. I will keep in touch and be sure to contact me as soon as anything goes amiss.""I will M'lady," Mary Ann said as the globe once again went blank. Cassandra looked up at Lorcan with a smile. "All done. Told you it wouldn't take very long."

Kýojin exhaled slowly, watching Rosalyn cautiously; he had never let someone get close to him, nor had anyone done what she'd just done towards him. She does not seem to be one that would betray a person, even one with blood on their hands like me, he thought, forgetting that though he was quite powerful, he was more vulnerable to telepaths than he'd prefer. He moved after her, his gaze scanning warily around unconsciously.

Merrick shivered ever so slightly, not even realizing he'd done so. "What's intimidating to think about is that there could be others like him out there... even others who could make him look like... us compared to him," he muttered.

Lorcan hummed thoughtfully. "Interesting; if I didn't know better I would have guessed she either had a possible succubus or perhaps a connection to Hermes or Apollo in her family," he murmured. All three beings were known to have naturally enthralling talents, though in his opinion he'd probably get along better with Hermes than the other two, since Apollo, if mythology was correct, couldn't keep it in his pants at all.

Rosalyn caught the direction of Jin's thoughts and smiled slightly. She didn't say anything because she didn't want him to think she was purposely listening in to his thoughts. After several moments they reached the large pool room. She took a deep breath and smiled even more widely. "It has been too long since I have been able to go for a swim." With a simple thought she was immediately clad in a two piece red and black bathing suit. She pulled her hair back to keep it out of her face before looking over her shoulder at Jin. "The pool is always at a perfect temperature. Not too cold, not too hot." She turned and dived in. ~~~~~~~~~ Constance didn't even want to think of that possibility. "Well let's just hope that we don't have to come across them. And even if we do...all of us should be able to handle the problem." She ran her hand lightly over Merrick's arm. ~~~~~~~~~ Cassandra chuckled as she stood up from her chair. "I think her mother was a succubus." Her head tilted to the side slightly as she walked up to Lorcan and wrapped her arms around his neck. "She is careful about her talents. She rarely harms anybody...except when they threaten our family."

Kýojin shrugged one shoulder, half crouching near the pool as he'd swam in the ocean, both tropic and temperate and more rarely, arctic. He had never, however, swam in a normal pool or Jacuzzi as he saw in front of him, and so was wary. Faint arcs of bioelectricity arced over his skin as flashes of the files flickered in his mind, holding X-Rays of a body as well as physical data. He could clearly recall the intense pain of the needle-drills digging into his body at every single joint in his body as well as several in his skull before the molten metal was fused to the bones. The intravenous lines meant to stabilize what they'd done at the same time injected a blend of nanites meant to do two primary things: give him electromagnetic control over the metal to a limited extent and erase his memory while leaving his skills and knowledge intact. In essence, he would have been the equivalent of a flesh-and-blood robot with no identity of his own except for what orders he was given. Fortunately he still had his identity, if not most of his memories.

Merrick snorted a laugh. "That would be the ultimate case of `who's the b***h now`," he chuckled. He liked the idea of an overbearing egomaniac who thought himself that powerful brought low.

Lorcan shivered slightly at Cassandra's touch, fairly sure that she'd sense that he had been aroused since they'd finished eating. "That's impressive," he said softly, letting his hands trail very lightly up Cassandra's body, well aware she liked it.

Roselyn didn't now how long she was under before she resurfaced. She pushed a stray strand of hair from her face as she took a deep breath. The water was refreshing. She looked over to where Jin was crouching by the pool. A smile spread across her face. "Why don't you come in? It's just a pool."~~~~~~~~ Constance chuckled and nodded. "We'll kick their butts. They won't know how to handle us." She looked up at him. "Now...how about we hurry and get to our room? I find that I am getting tired...." She knew that he would realize she really didn't want to go to sleep. ~~~~~~~~ "Yeah it is impressive," Cassandra chuckled as she continued to look up at him. She knew how he felt at the moment because the same emotions were running through her. They had been since before they had even reached the kitchen. She shivered as his hands ran over her body.

Kýojin took a slow deep breath before he let his gaze rise from the surface of the pool to meet Rosalyn's eyes; one of the few true fears he had was drowning, as it had happened to him twice, both times on rather vicious and brutal missions. It was how he knew that due to what he was.... it was nearly impossible to kill him. The healing factor healed most injuries and his Saiyan nature enabled him to survive things that should have killed him. He wasn't sure if Rosalyn would be able to sense the fear in him, but he was surprisingly quiet.

Merrick cocked an eyebrow, but remained quiet, letting his actions speak just as loudly as his words. He scooped her up bridal style and started loping towards the stairs, his gaze intensely focused like that of a predator seeking prey... though his prey had already been caught in his arms.

Lorcan tilted his head slightly, deciding to tease her a bit. "Something wrong, dear? Maybe we should check your temperature," he murmured, teasing her.

Rosalyn's head tilted to the side as she watched Jin. She knew that he feared something. She wasn't for sure, but she thought it had something to do with the water. She swam back over to the edge where he was crouched and looked up at him. "I won't let anything happen to you if you come in. It is relaxing in here, you will see." Rosalyn smiled a little at him. ~~~~~~~~ Constance laughed as she wrapped her arms around Merrick's neck. This was her favorite thing, to be held in his arms. She snuggled against him, anticipating coursing through her body. ~~~~~~~~ "Hmm, maybe you should," Cassandra said softly. "I am feeling a bit flushed at the moment. I would love for you to be my doctor."

Kýojin tilted his head slightly. "I've come close to drowning twice. Once was when a Black Ops mission went bad, the other when a stocky Canadian who apparently went through a similar 'procedure' that I had disrupted an undercover op," he said quietly as he shifted slightly, two sets of three hairline scars just below his collarbones. He had survived, though that identity was for all purposes dead. He had found that when he came close to death and recovered, he grew much stronger and tended to gain new powers, though recently he'd hit some sort of wall he couldn't get through; he suspected it would take great need to shatter that wall.

Merrick glanced down at Constance, a small teasing smile flickering at the corners of his mouth.

Kaosujin Ryu my husband just showed me this VIDEO I love Imagine Dragons...but these people did phenomenal with the song! Rosalyn winced slightly as she continued to look up at him. "I am sorry," she said softly. "But you know...to get rid of your fear you must face it. Rest assured if you get in this pool I will allow any harm to come to you. I won't force you though. I will be content here by myself." She moved away from the edge a little. ~~~~~~~ Constance only grinned back at Merrick. "You're going slower than normal. You doing this to tease me?"~~~~~~~ Cassandra chuckled softly. "Well I would hope you would be very thorough. I am sure I will highly enjoy it."

Rosalyn watched as Jin walked over to the steps. Slowly she made her way to them, but gave him enough room so that he didn't feel crowded. She knew how it was to be too crowded when you were afraid. ~~~~~~~ "Because that's who you are," Constance said with a chuckle. "But don't worry. I like it. A lot." She arched her neck and kissed him gently. ~~~~~~~ "So do you want to do your examination here, or somewhere else," Cassandra said softly as she ran a hand over his chest.

Kýojin tilted his head back a bit, sighing softly as the water sloshed around mid-thigh level as his bare feet touched the bottom. He paused, feeling the fear fading as his gaze met Rosalyn's. He found her highly attractive, though he wasn't going to draw her into his darkness.

Merrick growled slightly at the kiss, well aware that he knew Constance knew what sort of effect it had on him. "Careful, love; you don't want to start something you can't finish," he murmured.

Lorcan tilted his head, leaning his chin against Cassandra's head as he felt his body shiver slightly at Cassandra's light touch. "I would say here, thinking about it, unless you want to try a sauna and examine me afterward," he said with a faintly roguish smile.
