"A-Ah!" Xifeng exclaimed, nearly jumping up into the air as a voice from behind had scared her. She turned around to find herself in front of a dark haired boy, warning her of her ramblings that could develop into a habit if not carefully monitored. He introduced himself as Kiwidinok, which Xi smiled at, though rubbed her arm, clearly nervous as he could tell. "I'm sorry, Kiwidinok. I'm new, yes. I'm Xifeng. It's nice to meet you." The weapon said, hoping that she did not appear too shy to her first real friend here.

 He jumped a little in response to her loud exclamation. Loud noises such as that drove his anxiety through the roof. Now the two of them seemed a little more than freaked out. He cleared his throat to try and calm himself down as she apologized and introduced herself. "Nice to meet you as well, Miss Xifeng," he responded, saying her name slowly and hoping he pronounced it correctly. He was never good at pronouncing foreign names. Then again, in this City, his name was foreign as well. "You can call me Kiwi if you like. It's less of a mouthful. Your name is Eastern, isn't it?" he asked, hoping to get to know the girl a little better. While he enjoyed the silence, while she wasn't screaming in his face, she seemed to have a calm and quiet disposition. Then again, it could be nerves from her first day causing her to seem that way.

Xifeng nodded in response to Kiwi allowing her to call him that as a nickname for him. If he had not given her permission, the young one probably would have done so herself. It was a funny name, though Xifeng was in no position to judge names herself. "Mm. Yes. Eastern..." She said, trailing off at the end before deciding to ask Kiwi about the school. "So what's the academy like? Do they have long hours?"

Kiwidinok shook his head and shrugged his shoulder to her question. "You know about as much as I do. This is my first day. I'm not even sure where I'm supposed to be heading. I wonder if they have separate classrooms for Meisters and Weapons... Aw man... I'll have to find a partner..." He sighed and rubbed at his hair just in front of the cat ear headband he had on his head.

Xifeng rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly as Kiwi informed her that he had no clue about what the school held as well. "Oh...I guess we can look around together." She suggested, not knowing what Kiwi was, but wondering if he was in the same boat as her. "Mm. I hope the weapon classes aren't too tough. It makes me wonder how hard the meister classes are if we have to work hard like them."

"I'd be happy to walk with you, Miss Xifeng." He gave her a slight bow of his head in acknowledgement before picking up what she said. "You're a Weapon then? I'm a Meister myself. When I find out how tough it is, I'll be sure to inform you if you like. But only if you do me the same courtesy."

"Mhm! If we could find out where to go first, that might help us a lot." Xifeng commented on their decision to go and walk around the academy as a first assignment. As it turned out, Kiwi was a meister himself, which did interest Xi a lot. "What's it like being a meister? I've always wondered how they got to do all that neat stuff they do. It's from holding us weapons, right?"

Kiwidinok nodded in agreement. "Too bad they don't have a map or pamphlet to let us know the layout around here. What would happen if people got lost?" Placing his hands on his hips, he sighed and thought about Xifeng's question for a moment. "Well, I can't speak for others, but I'm basically useless. There are a lot of people who have specialties that help them out in a fight even when they don't have Weapons at their sides. Me? I can sing to people, but usually they just tell me to shut up or they scream in horrible agony and run away," he said with a joking smile. "Honestly, I think having Weapons are what make Meister's as strong as they are. And while a Weapon can do amazing things on their own, their own power is amplified when used by the right person. It's a two way street I guess."

After listening to Kiwi's explanation to a meisters, Xifeng nodded her head and smiled at his joke, seeming quite content. "Ah, okay. I kinda get it now." She said, just now spotting the boy's headband and wondering if they were real. She couldn't see the headband part, so she just made an assumption. "Your ears. Can I touch them? They look cute..."

"Ears... Are you talking about the cat ears I have on?" He looked a little confused but didn't see why she couldn't touch them. Kiwidinok bent down lower so that she wouldn't have to reach up as far in order to touch the velvety soft ears his little sister had made for him a few months before. Since it was his first day at the Weapon Meister Academy, she wanted him to wear it as a sort of good look charm. He couldn't deny her, so he had taken it and simply forgotten to take them off when he got closer to the school. Knowing his luck, she probably would have followed him right up to the front door just to make sure he didn't do just that.

Xifeng nodded at Kiwi's question, still unable to see that they were an accessory and fake, but stI'll finding them interesting. He knelt down so she could get a better look at them, at which a Xi learned the harsh truth that the ears were fake. She frowned for a moment before moving to pay his dark hair. "I'm sorry. I should have known that they weren't real...I'm sorry. L" She repeated, poking the headband and frowning.

 Masahiro Asaoka
First Year DMA Student "I-I know I'm not as good as other meisters or my mother..." It was a hot day in Death city so hot infact Masahiro the newest enrolled was sure he was melting, it wasn't bad enough that he was somewhat reluctantly enrolled in the DMA but he also didn't really like the idea of having to interact with people honestly made his skin crawl most of the time. But he had enrolled to get over it and to be a famous meister like his mother. Though he wasn't sure how well he would do seeing as how most other people would be leagues better than him. Nevertheless he was here and scaling the endless stairs up to the entrance. Panting as he reached the top he looked around and quickly stiffened doing his best to hide holding his backpack up infront of him when he saw the group of people gathered around the entrance. His mind began to race "Oh no! They are people gathered around the entrance...w-what do I do? H-How do I get past them? Oh no I just got here and now I can't even make it inside the building what do I do what do I do what do I do!?" His mind racing, he sunk his head down lower and held his bag up higher without knowing as he slowly fell to his knees. "But I-I'll try my best so don't give up on me!"

Kiwidinok felt a little awkward when he felt Xifeng toying with his hair. Hadn't she asked to see his headband? "Why apologize? I still think they make me look better, though, don't you?" he asked as he straightened up and offered a tiny smile to the younger of the two. His eyes found a young male who was clinging to a backpack before going to his knees and holding it above him like it could protect him from harm. Was he alright...?
