How is that they an have an obviously retarded ponie named Derpie, and no parents have a fit, yet Bugs Bunny dresses in drag a few times and hell breaks lose.

Oh Derpy is the fan name... they said it out loud once... ONCE. All hell broke loose because "a cross-eyed pony named Derpy offends the mentally handicap" but Bugs Bunny dressing in drag is funny... back in the day, now its just gross.
First off, if the mentally handicapped could take a second to stop laughing their a** off at the show, they'd tell the "concerned parents" to shut up.
Secondly... with Shows like Adventure Time, and Jersey Shore. They swung and missed at calling out the show that makes fun of the mentally handicap.

Adventure Time is slowly becoming more intelligent, and it's touching on things that most kids shows won't go near with a ten foot pole-- like unintended pregnancy. Regular Show, however, is just plain idiotic.
MLP was created by Lauren Faust, and her track record alone is what got may people into the fandom. Derpy was a flash error that's become kind of a "where's waldo" situation. And yes, Pinkie is annoying to some bronies, but after awhile it becomes a kind of lovable annoyance. We all have that one friend who just doesn't know when to shut up, after all.

And Derpy is 3rd best pony... she's indestructible! And Tara Strong (Raven from Teen Titans, Harley Quinn from Arkham City, and Juliet from Lollipop Chainsaw) is two of the main Ponies, she's just... awesome.

And some people don't get it. And that's okay, I completely respect that, man. I'm just happy that you were willing to give it a shot, and you aren't one of those mindless idiots who hates it for the fanbase or the brand itself. I thank you for at least trying.

I figured I read Twilight and watched the movie to give it a shot... still hate the franchise and got oink eye watching the movie so yeah... If i'm gonna dislike it I need to know thy enemie.
