“Well let’s not give them a chance to catch their breath. Kali keep on the offensive with Dragon Rage.” Dante called out knowing that the only attacks she was likely to really listen to were damaging moves. Sure enough Dante grinned as he saw the blue flames forming in her mouth and blast forward towards the dragon pokemon.
“Fire back with Thunder Wave!” The other trainer shouted as the blue flames smashed hard into his own pokemons sides. Giving a cry out in pain the Dratini forced itself to focus its energy and send a wave of electricity over to the Deino. Once the attack had left the Dratini the dragon started to roll around trying to put out the blue flames that were still dancing around it. The Deino was hit full blast with the paralyzing electricity causing her to grit her teeth as her body stopped responding to her.
First to recover though was the Dratini which had a few scorched marks on its smooth skin. “Let’s hit it again with your Aqua Jet Dratini!” Giving a cry the Dratini covered itself in water once more and shot forward smashing right into the Deino’s side sending her rolling onto the ground. Anger seemed to work to force her muscles to move as the paralyzed dark dragon scrambled to her feet and made a mad sprint smashing her body into the Dratini with a powerful looking Tackle.
Dante watched the two pokemon brawl it out each of them viciously going after each other. What had once been the more elegant of the two the Dratini was now dirty with scratches and darker marks from where the Dragon Rage had hit it. Kali, never one for elegance was covered in the long grass, mud and blood, electricity arced around her body every once in a while from the Dratini’s thunder wave. Still dragon types were known for how tough they were and both of the pokemon didn’t look like they were about to back down.
“These two seem to be in it for the long haul.” Dante muttered, still he was pretty proud of his little dragon. Sure she was as likely to attack any passing stranger and make life in general more difficult for him but she did seem to like to battle, even if Dante wasn’t at his best anymore. “All right Kali; let’s try your Earth Power once more!” Dante called out, he did wish that she had more attacks to use; he might need to take a trip to the pokemart soon. A small frown on his face as Dante watched her glow with golden power once more as she tossed her head around and stamped her foot on the ground. Like before the attack sent waves of earth crumbling up and waving towards the Dratini, this time though they didn’t have as far to go and the Dratini had no time to defend itself. The attack hit pretty hard as the other dragon type stumbled back a few paces or well in this case slithers, whatever you called a snake’s movement.
The Dratini was having problems lifting itself up and after that last attack Kali’s body had succumb to paralyzation once again. “Come on Dratini one more attack and we can finish this off. Let’s Wrap this up!”
Dante groaned at the awful pun and the fact that there was nothing he or the frozen Kali could do to defend them. Kali’s body was unresponsive as she struggled to get even her head or something to move, the Dratini was tiredly making its way over, and unfortunately it did not have to go far. The dragon type wasted no time as it tiredly but swiftly wrapped its exhausted body around Kali and gave her a painful squeeze. “Kali get out of there if you can.” Dante called out feeling as if he was making a futal call out, even he could see that Kali could do nothing her muscles frozen in place not even letting the now beaten dragon fall to the ground. Not wanting to see that anymore Dante recalled her into her pokeball. “You win. That Thunder Wave is a huge game changer.” Dante called out as he put his pokeball back into his bag.
Recalling his own pokeball the other trainer nodded and gave Dante a congratulatory smile and held his hand out to shake. “That was a good battle, your little fire cracker won’t be let down by losing and neither should you.”
“Who said I was let down by losing?” Dante countered with a small smirk. Ok truth be told losing was never fun, still he had a feeling he was going to be losing a lot lately so he better start getting used to it. “Anyway I am heading down to Petalberg and am going to get my pokemon healed up.”
“Ah we are heading to the forest. It was good traveling with you.” The two said their friendly goodbyes before wondering off in the opposite direction.

When Kasiya finally shut her own PokeDex and looked back to the battle, she was surprised to see Alphonse launching an Ice Beam, and by far the strongest one fired since she'd first taught him the technique. His aim still needs a bit of work, but he's really starting to get a handle on the power, she thought proudly, having not yet realized her Piplup had been paralyzed by the Snivy's Glare. Hayley called for a Wrap and the little Grass-type quickly sent out her vines, and the now-sluggish Water-type could do nothing as the vines wrapped themselves tightly around his body and began to squeeze. "Al, hang in there!" the blonde called, clenching a fist as an idea sprang to mind. "Try to get free by using your Peck attack on the vines!" Alphonse cried out weakly and struggled to reach Ivy's vines, but the Wrap attack was too restricting and the fact that he was paralyzed was making life difficult. The little penguin flailed about the best he could as he tried to break free, but that was about all he could manage right now.
=-=-=-=-= Jaeshan chuckled at Jade's comment about attacking stray bunnies, even if he really didn't know what she meant by it right away. Now that he thought about it, however, they had seen a couple of rabbit-like Pokemon when they'd first come through the Eterna Forest, and save for them, the place was pretty much full of only Wurmple and Budew. Not really ideal for training, though he did recall Kevin's advice about training in the nearby mountain range. The funny man's voice had taken on a curious edge as he'd passed on the information, and Jaeshan couldn't help but wonder why.
It didn't take them long to make their way to where Cycling Road began, and it was easy to see exactly what the problem was. A gang of bikers was blocking the route, and Jae couldn't help but smirk a little - save for a few that were actually on foot, the entire bike "gang" had only pedal-powered bicycles at their disposal. Jae had never really been one for confrontation, both now and before he'd lost his memory, but seeing the broken parts of the kid's bike sent an unfamiliar, yet oddly welcome surge of anger through his veins. Jade, true to her nature, had easily provoked the gang's attention toward them, and as the stocky, older man and apparent leader stepped forward, Jaeshan instinctively did as well, putting himself between the biker and Jade.
The blond's blue eyes were narrowed in a rare showcase of anger, and his protective stance didn't so much as shift as a woman joined the stocky, gold-toothed man. "I say you're about to wish you'd never set foot in this town," Jaeshan responded curtly, having already taken a Pokeball from his belt.
The woman sneered at them, also holding up a sphere, but it was painted up in camouflage colours. She was tall, which made the gang leader look all the more short and stubby, and she had long, greasy black hair and amber-coloured eyes. "Oh my, the boy thinks he's tough," she laughed, her voice nasally and grating. "Well then, sweetie, let's just see how tough you are!" With a flick of her wrist, the Safari Ball opened to reveal a bluish-coloured toad Pokemon. Jaeshan said nothing; only smiled knowingly at his partner as his PokeDex identified the opposing Pokemon as a Croagunk. He sent out his first Pokemon as well, feeling and looking confident and optimistic as Sigilyph made an appearance, humming quietly and seemingly just as composed as his trainer.
=-=-=-=-= And just like that, Karrigan's smile faded, as did her confidence. She'd been so busy looking forward to helping the younger girl that she didn't even stop to think about how Miharu may be feeling about the whole thing. She quickly lowered her gaze to the floor, hating the feeling of guilt and embarrassment she was now experiencing. She hadn't even noticed Damien's reaction, nor did she see the young-looking woman wearing a long, white coat nearby watching their little group rather intently. She did look up, however, as Damien's egg had chosen that exact moment to break the awkward silence that had settled among them, and within a few seconds, the dark-haired boy wasn't holding an egg any longer, but purple, wriggling fish.
"...It's a Feebas," the redhead said finally, nodding at the newborn, though she couldn't quite recall Feebas looking quite like that one. "It's not very impressive now, but it has the potential to evolve into something quite amazing." She hadn't studied for very long with Professor Rowan, as his field of research specialized in Pokemon evolution, but she did remember reading an article he'd written on the Fish Pokemon and how its beauty condition would allow it to evolve only if it were high enough. Until, that is, until the recently discovered evolution method of giving Feebas a Prism Scale to hold and then trading it. She kept this information to herself for now as she did not want to look like a know-it-all, but she did check her PokeDex all the same as she was certain that Feebas were usually a brownish-grey colour.

Magnemite remained quite still as the mud dripped off of its metallic surface, before it let out a quite little drone, much less enthusiastic than before. Adam grimaced. Marshall seemed pleased, smiling blankly at the floating magnet. "Whoa," the musician said softly, then shook his head. "Okay, then, no messing around! Let's use your Thundershock attack!" Adam was completely unfamiliar with the Wooper line, and, consequently, was unaware of the Pokemon's half Ground typing. He had only assumed that because of his coloring, Marshall was a Water-type. Magnemite's drone seemed more aggressive this time around as it loosed a bolt of electricity that hit the Wooper dead on.
The Water Fish Pokemon's mouth formed a neat little 'O' and he winced as the attack hit, his trainer having not given a command to dodge, but then he felt... nothing. He even opened his eyes to watch the electricity course over his body, but still felt none of its effects! Amy smiled a little. She was eager to see how Ground-types reacted with Electric-type attacks, knowing that while they were immune to the effects, how things would physically work out. Once figuring this out for himself, Marshall found this to be quite amusing; the blue Pokemon hopped from one foot to the other, cheering for his own immunity. "All right, Marshall, Dig," Amy called sweetly, and the Water/Ground-type blinked. The move vaguely registered in his mind, but he wasn't sure why. Instinctively, the Wooper did as he was told and dug, burrowing beneath the ground. The silence that followed was tense.
That was, up until Marshall's head popped up a few feet away from his intended target. Amy could've smacked herself. She should've trained more with him, especially since he was so... Marshall. "Woop, woop!" he chirped, and Adam and his Magnemite turned upon the head portruding from the ground. Having regained his sense of superiority, Adam commanded for a Sonic Boom that, when executed, ended up cracking open the ground and blasting the poor Wooper into the air. Before Amy could think of her next move, Marshall was attacking. He used a Slam to tackle the Magnet Pokemon to the ground and jumped back, making it clear that he was not to be trifled with.

Jake's sudden bout of anger/protectiveness surprised Jade, who was not entirely displeased with this sudden change in attitude. The blonde's almost cold reply to the couple brought a smile to her face, and she watched as he stepped forward to meet the tall woman. Her own opponent was much shorter, and much older. He retrieved his first Pokeball as his gang cheered him and his partner on, cursing out Jade and Jake at the same time. The dark-haired girl was unconcerned with them.
"Sorry to break it to ya, sweetheart, but this ain't gonna be much of a battle," the man rasped, releasing a purple skunk-like Pokemon with a pungent stench. Jade was willing to hazard a guess that the purple, smelly Pokemon was a Poison-type, much like Grimer and Muk that she saw back in Johto. Which meant that she had no type advantages, but at the same time, she had no disadvantages either. She drew her own Pokeball and smiled all too sweetly.
"No, not really," was all she had to say in reply as she released Cirrus, whose tiny and admittedly cute appearance belied how battle-ready the kitten was. "Spark attack," Jade commanded, and then added in, "Go nuts." There wasn't much need to be polite in this kind of battle; her opponent sure wasn't going to be. The Flash Pokemon bared his teeth as electricty crackled around him before he charged at the Stunky. The grizzled old man growled for a Poison Gas, which was about as promising as it sounds, and as the cat collided with the skunk, it spewed a purple gas right into the Electric-type's face. Awesome, Jade thought, not needing to guess what the effects of that attack were. Just what I need.

A look of panic spread over Gloom's face as the stars sped towards her, a few of them connecting and sending the Weed Pokémon tumbling backwards. Thankfully the attack wasn't too hard on Gloom, due to some of her health having been restored in the previous turn.
As Gloom got back onto her feet, Train decided her next move and spoke up. "Gloom, use Stun Spore again," She said, gripping his legs very lightly with just her fingers, eyes more on the water than on either of the Pokémon at the moment. Gloom straightened herself and focused for a second before the golden-y powder began wafting from the bulb on top of her head and out over the water.

It took a while, but time didn't mean much to Leon, and so when they finally emerged from the cave into moonlight he was not surprised nor phased, despite having entered in full daylight. He had now doubled his team and that seemed like a pretty productive day. The purple-headed trainer began making his way across the sand towards the town of Dewford. Luckily the Pokémon Centers were open 24/7 for people like him, and a couple members of his team certainly needed it. He wouldn't mind some rest himself, after all. He hadn't stopped since that morning, and who knew how late it was now. His eyes had begun to feel heavy, and when he finally entered the Pokémon Center he he quickly handed over his newly captured Sableye's PokéBall and motioned for Muuma to go with the nurse as well. It was a rather short process, as neither Pokémon were harmed too severely, and Leon was soon at his room for the night.
He sat down on the bed and proceeded to take off his boots before looking up at Muuma and the candle-thing. The nurse hadn't said anything about it, but she also may not have seen, as the baby seemed to be getting rather sleepy and had started staying on the ground for the last bit of their journey. He went to remove his coat when the PokéDex he had acquired the previous day bumped against him and he pulled it out, turning it on for the first time since he'd gotten it. Professor Birch had help him set it up, so he just pointed it at the candle (which was already asleep in a puddle on the floor), and watched the information pour onto the screen.
Litwick: The Candle Pokémon. While shining a light and pretending to be a guide, it leeches off the life force of any who follow it.
Leon almost snorted. "I was right," He mumbled. "A ******** candle." The PokéDex also informed him that it was, indeed, a dual Ghost- and Fire-type Pokémon. "Cool," He murmured, pulling off the rest of his clothes and shutting the light off before flopping onto the bed and passing out for the night.

"Magnemite, don't let that little dude bring you down!" Adam cried, strumming his guitar again. "Let's show them how metal we really are! Use Magnet Bomb!" Like Amy and Marshall, Adam and his Magnemite had recently discovered a new move in the magnet's repertoire that was fun to use on unsuspecting trainers. But unlike its opponent, Magnemite was quite capable of using this move to the best of its ability. In tune with the guitar yet again, it droned and produced several small steel bombs that latched onto Marshall before exploding in rapid succession. The Water Fish Pokemon cried out and leapt back, not expecting this kind of pain in the slightest.
"Marshall!" Amy called out, worry furrowing her brows. "Are you okay?" She got a woop in response, but knew immediately what the Wooper would try to do. "Don't do anything yet," she said, raising her voice as the smoke began to clear. He couldn't act rashly in the battle with Surge, so it would be best that he didn't act rashly now. "You need to wait for me, okay?" Marshall did nothing to show that he understood, and the bespectacled girl wondered what was going on with the Pokemon. Perhaps he was just a bit too overeager at the moment. "Try your Dig again," Amy commanded, knowing how powerful a move it could be once it was actually executed. Before Adam could say anything else, Marshall dug another hole for himself and hid underground, leaving nothing but a pile of upturned dirt in his wake.

The thing about Grass-types that she hated most (she had, in the past, made a list after a particularly bad battle with some boy's Bulbasaur) was the potential to inflict so many different statuses. With Electric-types, all she had to worry about was paralysis. But with Grass-types, she had to deal with paralysis, poisoning, sleep, and Arceus knows what else. Had they developed a Freeze Powder move yet? That would be icing on the cake.
The redheaded gym leader watched in dismay as Train called out for another Stun Spore. "Starmie, use your Water Pulse again!" she cried, but it was too late. The yellow powder had sunken in the water and affected the purple star. Its core blinked once and then flickered on and off. "Try your Psychic attack, then!" Misty yelled. And the Mystery Pokemon tried, but after a few solid blinks of the gem on its center, there was no result. Feeling as though the scales of the battle had tipped very generously in Train's favor, Misty took a deep breath and waited to see the blonde's next move.

The problem regarding his cousin was still bothering Keegan as he finally hauled a** off the couch in the lobby of the Pokemon Center and headed outside. He fully intended to attempt to give Boris a go in the gym (and hopefully the Camerupt wouldn't destroy it like he did half of the Petalburg Woods...), but first he needed to make sure that the massive Pokemon had his wits about him. Conveniently enough, there was a battlefield out behind the Pokemon Center and without hesitation, Keegan released his entire party, save for his newest addition, sighing slightly as baby Hades immediately clung to his leg. He wasn't sure why he hadn't sent the young Axew home instead of Pan, as the baby was a lot less likely to see battle within the Petalburg Gym than the Grovyle, but it felt almost wrong to remove the dragon from his party. Perhaps magically appearing eggs out of absolutely nowhere had that affect on people.
Prior to releasing Boris (he still almost snorted every time he so much as thought of the Camerupt's name), he and his party had taken precautionary measures and were on high alert, as he wasn't sure how the Eruption Pokemon would react to finding himself in the hands of a totally different trainer. When the dual Ground/Fire-type was finally released, the whole thing was actually rather anticlimactic as it appeared that Boris had come to terms with his evolution and was now currently staring at the redhead, the vapid look in his eyes eerily similar to the one he used to carry as a Numel. Even still, everyone was still a little wary of the Camerupt, at least until Hades decided that the large Pokemon was more interesting than his trainer's shoe and darted over to inspect Boris' leg. This prompted the first actual response from the Pokemon since being let out of his PokeBall - his ears twitched slightly and his tail lashed back and forth a little, but overall he didn't appear to be displeased with the new little friend he was making.
Though a little underwhelmed by his newest addition's sudden lack of ferocity and recklessness, Keegan could appreciate the potentially-powerful new ally he'd been graced with, and he went so far as to give Boris a few simple commands, which the Camerupt followed without so much as even a hint of protest. "Well then, " was about all the redhead could say as he returned two thirds of his party to their proper Poke/Great/WhateverBalls, leaving only Hades and Helios out. He knew now that he had no real excuse for not going straight to the gym and calling out Norman, but the thought of actually going and doing it after all this time was actually quite surreal. Regardless, he'd picked up Hades and started walking in what he perceived to be the general direction of the gym until a growl from the Ninetales stopped him in his tracks. "What?" he grumbled, looking the fox in the eye. "I'm going already, what more do you want?" Subtly, the fox's gaze (and several of his tails) all flickered to the direction opposite of where they were heading, and after a moment or so, Keegan realized he was actually moving away from the gym. Just then, the baby dragon in his arms ripped off another chunk of his destroyed jacket and he sighed. "Thanks," he mumbled, though Helios didn't believe him to be sincere, and the odd little trio started off in the actual direction of Petalburg Gym this time.

The two pokemon broke apart and glared at each other not moving an inch. The younger trainer acted first once again and rather recklessly. Then again when your pokemon has no ranged attacks you have no choice but to rush in on a fire type with ranged attacks."Use peck Javelin! Finish it!" The Spearow gave a wild cry and rushed forth flapping its wings for extra speed.
This was their chance to wrap it up."Gigas intercept with Ember!" Gigas let out a growl and then swiped his tail at the Spearow sending hot embers smashing into the flying type. It gave a squawk then fell face first into the dirt and skidded to a halt unable to continue. "Alright Gigas we did it! It was a great b-" The other trainer let out a disgusted cry and recalled his Spearow.
"You jerk we where on a winning streak too!" The trainer bolted leaving Kressen a little bewildered. "Well, errr. Return Gigas. You've done enough for now."

Train was more than pleased. The first attempt with this move had been a complete failure, and it was a relief that the second attempt had ended completely differently. She knew, however, that the paralyses could wear off at any time, and needed to take as much advantage of the status infliction as she could--now.
"Gloom, hit it with another Mega Drain!" She commanded quickly. Gloom began to glow slightly and a few good-sized, greenish orbs flew from her body and towards the stunned Starmie. Train held her breath, praying for those glowing lights to stay true and hit their opponent dead on. She wanted to end this battle already. The longer it dragged out, the more nervous she got, especially considering how closely each match had been so far. She felt like she'd been in that gym for a year already…

'Predictable,' Jasper thought, watching as the bird flapped its little wings to try and disperse the gas. Koffing continued laughing dauntingly the whole time, completely unfazed by her own poisonous gases being pushed back at her. 'Whatever, we'll let them tire themselves out by countering and dodging then,' the bandanna-clad youth mused, wearing a confident smirk of his own. Koffing was easily his weirdest Pokemon (and that was saying something), but he had complete faith in the poison type. If the Gust attack had hurt her, she definitely wasn't showing it, and unless the little bird had other attacks at its disposal rather than Gust and Tackle, Jasper was more than certain they could handle this. He'd taken out his Pokedex as well, looking up the tiny bird's entry as he came up with another command for his own Pokemon. "Keep it up, Koffing," he called quickly. "Fill the area with Smog; they can't keep blowing it back forever." Koffing puffed out another large cloud of noxious gas, spinning and guffawing the entire time like it was some sort of game and not an actual battle. * * * * * * * * * * 'Wow, Ivy's doing really, really well,' Hayley thought, trying to hold back her excitement as she watched the Piplup struggling to break free from the Snivy's Wrap attack. That Glare technique was really coming in handy, and for the first time in, well, pretty much forever, Hayley felt confident in her own abilities. Alphonse wasn't about to quit just yet, struggling and trying to peck his way free, and the brunette smiled as an idea came to mind - after all, if the penguin's little beak came into contact with Ivy's vines, it could really hurt her. "Ivy! Swing Alphonse around and give him a toss!" she called, punching the air. Ivy smirked as she heard the command, more than happy to comply. With a grunt, she hefted the little water type off the ground, teeth grit in concentration. While she wasn't quite strong enough to actually swing the Piplup around and around, she did manage to gain enough momentum to actually throw him, her vines loosening and snapping back as she did so.

Leon was roused by a bubbling pile of wax splashing onto his face. He groaned a little, not awake enough to force any words out of his mouth yet. The trainer cracked open his eyes and stared at the puddle. It suddenly took shape and moved away from him, and upon opening his eyes further, Leon discovered that Muuma had shooed the Candle Pokémon away trom him.
The events of the night before came back to him and Leon pushed himself upright, the covers falling a bit, as he had apparently found his way under them at some point during his sleep. He rubbed his face with one hand before looking again at the Litwick (and actually knowing what it was this time). He stared at it, and it stared back happily at first, but shrunk away as Leon's expression did not change. He finally got out of the bed and picked up his coat, pulling out one of his empty PokéBalls and looking at the creature on his bed again. "Flambeau," He said. "You're staying with us?" The Litwick looked a little surprised, if not a bit confused, but seemed to get the gist and bobbled a little. Leon expanded the PokéBall in his hand and tossed it lightly towards the Pokémon, whom didn't even seem to notice it as he was now distracted with his bobbling. Flambeau was swallowed up by the ball, which landed softly on the bed. Leon then tossed his jacket back on to the bed and headed into the bathroom, whilst Muuma floated around the PokéBall for a moment, wondering if the little baby was alright in there.

The entire gym seemed to fall silent then, the other trainers all turning to watch the battle between Amy and Adam. Adam seemed far more nervous than his opponent, who was surprisingly at ease in the moment. Magnemite inclined forward slightly, drifting along in lazy circles, looking almost warily at the ground to see where that annoying little Wooper would pop up. But the thing was, he didn't. There was virtually no sign of Marshall at the moment, but both trainers knew that he could not stay underground forever.
"Magnemite, use Supersonic," Adam said quietly. His Pokemon complied, floating up a little bit and aiming the soundwave at the ground. There was no telling what effect it had on the submerged Water Fish Pokemon, as there was still no sign of his existence. Amy began to worry that he had simply dug into the center of the earth and was now popping up in a different place altogether. Just as she was about to call out his name, the ground erupted from behind the Magnemite, and Marshall launched himself at the Magnet Pokemon. Due to the Electric/Steel-type's surprise, the attack hit dead-on, and its drone sounded very alarmed as it tumbled to the ground. Marshall landed, eyes clear, apparently not having heard the Supersonic attack.
"Awesome, Marshall!" Amy called, smiling. Adam called for his Magnemite to get back up, sounding angry. The brunette girl hadn't meant to upset him; her smile faltered a little when she saw how red his face was getting. "Okay, let's finish this up," she said, more subdued. "Use your Mud Shot attack!"

Misty's fists clenched when Train ordered for another Mega Drain, and even though she called for Starmie to dodge, the Water/Psychic-type fell under the effects of paralysis and seemed like an anchor trapped at the bottom of the pool. Its core blinked in distress as it was subjected to the green orbs again, feeling its life force sapping away. Misty couldn't believe that kind of thing! By now, it must have been like she had done no damage to that Gloom at all. Then, the redhead blinked. We can do that, too! That'll show 'em not to underestimate us.
With an almost wicked smile, Misty spoke up. "Starmie, use Recover!" After a very panic-inducing moment of inactivity, the Starmie's core blinked once and then its entire body glowed as it replenished some of its health. It was not back to full health, of course, but now it was on more even ground with its refreshed, drooling opponent.

Train felt her stomach drop, and it was more out of pure anger than anything else. "Are you kidding me?" She said quietly, exasperated. Gloom seemed a little uncomfortable that nothing seemed to be happening, but was not exactly upset that she had gone another round without being hit. Train sighed as she thought about the moves Gloom had to use, but while the Starmie was already afflicted with a status ailment, her other moves were pretty useless right now. The girl sighed, and said with less determination than previously, "Gloom, Mega Drain." So much for ending this battle anytime soon.

Getting himself out of the tall grass, a lot of which was trampled now by their battle, it also seemed like something else had rampaged through there recently as well. Looking around Dante raised an eyebrow under longer then before hair as he saw the trail of destruction lead down into the woods. Well, whatever happened there Dante was sure that by heading the other way he would have nothing at all to deal with it. Besides he had to get Kali to the pokemon center before he even thought of doing anything else. That thought in mind Dante walked down the beach front, dark eyes watched the footprints he made in the sand. Walking backwards for a moment before turning around and heading back onto solid land, as fun as foot prints were sand in his shoes was not to fun. Yawning he shifted the weight on his shoulders fiddling with his bag a bit as he walked into the gate that would lead him into Petalberg. Nodding his head at the bored looking lady who was standing there Dante headed through the other side of the gate, sometimes he wondered what these little passageways were built for, shelter from rain maybe?
Dante had made it about ten steps before his bag started to shake. Was it the egg? Finally was that blasted thing hatching? Excitedly pulling the satchel cover open he tried to contain his excitement a bit as he looked into the bag watching the egg to see if it had any cracks or anything in it. To say he was a bit surprised when instead of his egg hatching the supposedly fainted and still paralyzed Kali popped out of the bag instead. “Kali?” He squeaked his voice cracking slightly much to his embarrassment. What was going on here? Kali had fainted not ten minutes ago! She was still suffering from paralysis if the small sparks coming from her body was any indication. “Kali? What are you doing out?” Dante managed to sputter out; this time it didn’t crack so he was a bit proud of that, he had thought he was out of puberty. The dragon type didn’t even seem to listen to him, or respond to him, instead she lifted her head and sniffed the air before taking off like a shot.
Standing there completely confused Dante watched her run off for a second. “H-hey! Kali get back here!” Dante yelled as he took off after her. How is it she is running so fast while she is paralyzed?! Dante thought confused as he chased her down focused more on catching her then all the people in the road he was cutting off. It was as if the small Deino had sensed something and was bowling a few people over in her attempt to get to it. Knowing his dark dragon pokemons more destructive nature Dante was sure that whatever she was chasing down would be on the receiving end of some sort of pain. And how the hell is she so fast! She is paralyzed! Dante’s breath was coming to him in harsh breaths now; this had nothing to do with the fact that he had lazy rode Apollo around instead of building muscle definition himself, nothing at all. “Haha! Got you!” Dante shouted in triumph as he closed the distance and tackled her right before she bowled into a very familiar figure; if Dante had been paying attention he might have just let her bowl into them. Panting for breath he did his best to wrestle her to the ground using his own body weight to hold the now thrashing around pokemon.
During Dante’s mad leap and subsequent dragon wrangling the egg Dante had hoped was hatching only moments before ended up escaping his bag and rolling to the feet of an elegant looking, if somewhat annoyed at his trainer Ninetails.
Getting up from the ground his now calmer or maybe muscles frozen due to paralyzation Deino held under his arms. “Ha! Got you, you little brat.” Dante grinned triumphantly patting the growling beast in his arms. It was then that Dante noticed that he had almost tackled someone to the ground in his mad leap, not just any someone either. “Keegan!” Dante exclaimed his grin still on his face, this was probably a lot happier than his usual greetings to anyone, but he was feeling pretty good about himself after wrestling his little monster to the ground. “How are you doing? Sorry about almost tackling you, I stopped this little monster from hitting you though.” He hefted up the Deino in his arms a bit; she just growled more her attention focused on the brown dragon that was currently making a meal out of Keegans jacket. It seemed that after her last battle she didn’t care too much for other dragon types. “How was your battle with Norman? You won right?” Dante didn’t expect any other result from that battle, Keegan was a great trainer after all.

Ben felt his jaw clench as the area kept filling up with noxious gasses. He knew his Pidgey didn't have the stamina to just keep blowing it all away. But the question was.. Could that Koffing still see through all that poison gas? The thick clouds of poison gas were no match for Pidgey's keen eyesight, so perhaps he could use that to his advantage. "Pidgey!" He called out. "Tackle it!" His only option was to dive right through the gas and attack with all he's got. Giving a determined chirp, Pidgey set off in a nose-dive toward the poisonous Pokemon, intent on making it hurt.
