Maybe I'm just having like fever dreams or something but I in my sleep dreamt up an entire Pokemon game with a good 200 Pokemon but you can only hold 4 Pokemon(in easy mode), 3(in normal mode), and 2(for hard mode)...
Cause you get a quartet of trainers to control that you got to decide what all 4 looked like through a character creator and it didn't matter what they looked like as long as their was at least 1 boy and 1 girl. Also not only would your 2-4(8-16 total) Pokemon be able to hold items but there would also be trainer hold items.
I remember some Pokemon there was a 2 stage that was a skull(ghost) that became a Skeleton(Ghost/Fighting), a Shield looking one(Steel/Ice) and a Sword(Steel/Fire).

I think Ludicolo is a pretty cool Pokemon. Eh dances great and doesn't afriad of electric-types.

I'm training a Ludicolo right now. He's gonna be on my team. I'm kinda iffy on a moveset, and I'm so ******** tired of grinding the Pokeathelon for Heart Scales. XD

If only you could pick your origin in Pokemon. I'd definetly want to be from Lavender town. However my only problem is that Unova apears 100 years later or so, so half of my team couldn't exist... I already have my Setup of Creepy a** Pokemon too. xd Obviously with a Dark/Ghost theme.  and possibly Obviously later in the game they'd all be stronger, and the Second form 'mons would appear at post end-game along with everyone else fully evolved. My only conflict is that I'd want to have as a Starter. I loooove Tyrogue...

I always thought it would be cool to be a gym leader in one of the games. You'd design your own theme, basically just a text description of your type or strategy focus, and design a small little gym you would have. Then it would be an online thing. You would go online and either select challenge a gym or receive a challenger. As a challenger you could go online with 10 pokemon total, all registered. Of course you can still only have a team of 6, but challengers would be able to switch up before the fight to get a team that they think will work. Gym leaders could of course be dicks and be uninformative, but lets face it, that can always happen, and the better fights are going to be up front about it. instead of badges you would give out pins, so that people could do a little pixel art for their badge without asking for a whole modeling system. leaderboards could be a cool addition, for example how tough the gym is, and how good that gym leader is as a challenger as well.
I would probably give out the jumpluff badge
