-Dessynea- Hi everyone! At school for a couple hours and I figured I would post. Wylr is making a long post explaining what happened but basically our house got broken into and totally trashed and tons of stuff stolen (including our pet turtles.) We know who did it but not with enough evidence for police, it was four of my brother's "friends." So how is everybody? I am feeling pretty shitty myself. Dang, they even stole defenseless turtles?
I'm sorry to hear that. I hope retribution comes to them hard and fast.

That sucks and I know exactly how it feels, sorta. Kinda different when you're five and overnight all your s**t is gone. :/ The same though, at the same time, you know?
Hopefully, the cops will come through. :/

Been to a few pawn shops, and they said since it's in the police report, if anything tries to get pawned, they'll get caught.
*sigh*
I sure hope so..

Lady Psycho Sexy What Ribbin said. Who the ******** steals turtles? What the ******** would you do with a stolen turtle? Pawn it?
That sucks though. Time to beat some asses?
@Ota: Sorry, LPS is apparently in high demand globally and California's gonna get a shipment first. lol
That's good though. I wish I could force myself to think differently, but I don't know any cognitive techniques. Which ones are you using?
Well, I just think of the promise that other people definitely have it worse. I think of my Europe trip in High School, and remember that others have it SO much worse. I guess you can't change unless you've witnessed something worse.

Alberta sucks though. I'd probably fly to BC, get stoned out of my tree, then be like 'ok ******** this YOU come HERE there's nothing good in Alberta'.
Except like skiing and s**t. And I hate snow. Hate hate hate. mad
So wait... they took your guys' DS games but not your DSes? Are they stupid?
I hope you had insurance in the meantime. ._.

And the Country girl just texted me asking if we were still cool in the kind of situation we're in. I think she's starting to wonder about me. Oh man, I don't know what to do.

But why don't you just be honest with yourself? I mean, if this is the second time, you obviously have some sort of feelings for your roommate, so maybe you should just... make a decision. I mean, personally I have nothing against polygamy, but if you wanna keep going the route you're going, you should let both of your interests know.
@Wylr: That's cool. As long as I know the Power items are safe; I was kind of worried I'd have to rack up another 32 BP. lol I'm way more concerned about the rest of your stuff, tbh.
Do you think I could hit Dessy up for whatever's sold, though? I got my Laurels but now I'm trying to get a Sentinel doll and it just keeps going up. ._. She can still keep 250-500k of it, whatever she wants. I should only need about 1750k to get it.

Yea, that's kind of what happened last night. I've been thinking about it all week, and it wasn't a mistake the first night. It was a bad idea because I thought I liked Country Girl, but I dunno, it's complicated. My roomie is still kind of wary because after we semi hooked up I went all "Wow, that was a mistake, I'm seeing Country Girl" sort of thing and I think it really hurt her. But we were just watching TV in her room last night, and talked for hours. And then kind of ended up cuddling up with her once I realized that I didn't want to have her as just a mistake. It's super complicated now though, I don't really know what to say to Country Girl. I can't keep doing this, but I don't just want to all of a sudden break up what we have, I feel like such a d**k about it.

At the end of every relationship someone will end up shafted; very rarely will there be an amicable breakup. But I think if you really want to pursue things with your roommate, you shouldn't put the decision off. The longer you hold on to what you have, the more you have to hold on to.
She asked you right now if you were ok with the situation; I'm assuming she meant the distance, so I'd probably try to lean my reasons in that direction to avoid her taking it personally.
Idk though, I'm no relationship expert. I'm the kind of girl who always gets cheated on or left. xd

If there's a silver lining here for Zach and Timmie, it's the insurance claim they can make. Most insurance companies won't go more than $1000 per item, but with proper wording and picture evidence, they might be able to squeeze out a bit more than they lost.
That's how I funded my Canada vacation anyways >.>
I feel bad for the Turtles though. ._.

Damn, stuff like that makes me mad though. I mean, third-world countries wouldn't be third-world if their corrupt governments didn't keep all the resources for themselves. Plenty of people live in luxury in those countries; it's like there is no middle ground between extremely rich and extremely poor. I don't understand how anyone could knowingly and willfully deprive an entire country of basic human necessities, just so they could live in a little extra comfort.

Well, I will hopefully get my laptop back because it was a scholarship and they should replace it.
We are really upset about the turtles because this was my younger siblings first trip to Disney and now they will always remember what they came home to. They might have forgotten about the house but since the turtles are gone they won't.
We are just glad they didn't hurt our cats.
