 Silversong[Silversong padded over to Silverstar, dipping her head respectfully towards her leader and the warriors that followed.]
"Excuse me Silverstar, I don't mean to be a bother but I was just wondering if I will... um... get an apprentice soon? I mean I've been a warrior for many moons now and I feel like I have enough experience for one."
[Twitching her tail nervously she waited for a response from her leader.]

  Is honesty so hard to achieve?
Is trust so hard to earn?══════════════════════════════════════════ [Silverstar flicked Silversong with her tail, her emerald gaze looking into Silversong's.]
"Just be patient. All warriors get an apprentice sooner or later. Your turn will be soon, I promise," Silverstar suusred, then turned and leapt onto the Fernhill. "The Gathering is tonight! I'm taking Autumnfall, Thornfang, Aspentail, Thunderflight, Silversong, Squirrelpaw, and Softpaw!" Silverstar announced, the leapt back down.
[The silver she-cat grabbed a mouse for herself from the fresh-kill pile and quickly devoured it. She buried the remains and quickly padded over to the entrance, awaiting her warriors.] ══════════════════════════════════════════Nobility, faith, bravery, loyalty...
All makings of a true warrior.

_______________________________________________________ [Dustkit's jumped up as he heard the announcement of the Gathering. He rushed out of the nursery and watched as all warriors and apprentice were getting ready for the Gathering.] I'm jealous of the others...I want to go too! [Dustkit let out a small growl in disappointment, flattened his ears and layed on his belly against the warm ground.]

 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________(( Um...I'll just jump back in somehow. > >; ))
[As StormClan went about with their duties, Hawkpaw padded into camp with a young hawk in his jaws. A few cuts ran along his forelegs, but for the most part, he was proud of catching such a piece of prey. He flopped the limp bird onto the fresh-kill pile, then sat down near the nursery to wash his paws and wounds.
As he groomed, he saw Dustkit rush out of the nursery as Silverstar made her announcement. Laughter glimmered in his amber eyes as he saw the dismay flash through Dustkit's face as the list of Gathering cats did not include him.]
Just like me, when I was a kit.
[He thought with a chuckle. Heaving himself to his paws, Hawkpaw padded over to Dustkit, who now lay in the sun, eyes watching the Gathering patrol.]
“Hey, Dustkit. What's up?”
[He meowed casually to the little tom, tail curling as his paws as he sat down beside the kit.]_________________________

_______________________________________________________ [Dustkit ears flickered as he heard a voice call his name. He looked up to see Hawkpaw beside him. His eyes again filled with joy, admiring Hawkpaw.] "Hi Hawkpaw!" Dustkit greeted. [He looked once more at the patrols and his ears flattened.] "Nothing at all...I want to go to the gathering and meet other kits.." [As Dustkit said that he instantly thought of that other female kit he encountered near the BreezeClan boundries. He bit his tongue, trying not to say anything.]

[Hawkpaw smiled, feeling the urge to laugh, but concealed it.]
“You only get to go to a Gathering when you're at least six moons old. And even then, you rarely go. It's considered an honor if you're chosen to attend a Gathering, so when you are chosen, you better enjoy it. I've only gone to Gatherings, what, two times now? And I'm almost a warrior. I'm telling you, once you do go to one, meet other cats and have fun, because, most likely, you won't get to go for another few moons...”
[He meowed to Dustkit, eyes on Silverstar and the other cats.]_________________________

_______________________________________________________ [Dustkit's eyes stood up and looked up at Hawkpaw with a small grin.] With both of his parents abandoning him in the forest, he felt that Hawkpaw is the only one he can trust. [He then looked up at Hawkpaw to ask a question that has been bothering him for a while. "Are cats from BreezeClan really our enemies?" Dustkit asked.

[Hawkpaw drew back a bit, blinking with a bit of shock. His eyes wandered for several heartbeats as his mind raced, trying to find a suitable answer for the kit.]
“Well, they are and they aren't, Dustkit. Every Clan is our enemy, but at the same time, our ally. In a sense, BreezeClan, and the others, are our rivals in these lands. We compete for prey and territory, and the only reason one Clan would hate another would be because of the actions of the leader. What do you think about BreezeClan, or any Clan?”
[Hawkpaw meowed calmely, wondering what Dustkit would make of his words.]_________________________

He thought for a moment, about that other kit he encountered, how she had a welcoming look that day.] "I feel...that they're really nice cats..." [he finally said, feelings his fur stand up in embarrassment.]

“It just depends on the cat, honestly. Everbody's different. I mean, I spoke to a she-cat from NightClan who's the nicest she-cat I've met in a while. And another from BreezeClan; she was really nice too.”

“Well, I'm not a warrior yet, but thanks! That kind of attitude is exactly what's needed around here! Haha! I hope I get made into a warrior soon, so that I can mentor you. If you want, that is...”
[He laughed, ears flattening right after out of embarrassment. He wanted his warrior name so badly, it just seemed to be raised in every conversation nowadays...]
