 Lavenderrain [Lavenderrain's eyes widened in surprise as she wrapped her tail protectively around her kit.]
"I know he's changed, but taking it out on a small kit? Would he really lower himself to hurting a kit?" Lavenderrain wondered, bending her head to lick Purekit's head profusely.
[She stood, grasping her kit on the scruff. She flicked her tail towards camp.]
"We need to get back to camp. As deputy, I have to take care of my Clan. Hauntedheart, you need to care for the wounded. Foxfur, I'd like you to take all the cats who aren't wounded on a hunting patrol," Lavenderrain commanded, her purple eyes gaining a leader's perspective.
((Okay, so is Lavenderrain leader now? I'm not going to do her ceremony until Sumomo gets back. So she'd be Lavenderstar? whee ))

[Shatteredfang killed a snake, before padding back to get her other pieces of prey. She sighed, tracking down the rest of her patrol. When she found Darkshadow, she felt an odd sensation in her chest, but ignored it.] "Darkshadow, we're going back to camp," she half breathed, looking away from the gray tabby.
[She padded quickly over to Cinderwing, who seemed to be stalking something. She snorted, shoving him.] "We're going back to camp. Take your prey and let's go." [She heard a furious yowl as she heard rustling heading farther and farther away.]
[ooc:]Awesome! ^o^ But if she'll be entitled leader, who'll be deputy?

((Well, are we planning on making Fathom good again? Cuz he's still the leader, technically, and it could be like in the books, when Nightsttar didn't get his lives because StarClan still saw Brokenstar as leader))

((Okay, Timber and I are going to talk it over. Since Fathom's still alive, thoug he's evil, he's still technically leader. He needs to be killed before Lavenderrain can become leader. So, she'll remain deputy for now, but do the leader's jobs and such. I'm not sure about ceremonies, though. Hopefully no one needs a ceremony soon. But Timber and I will figure something out. ^^))

But still, let Lavenderrain become leader. She can lie just like Nightstar did. owo

[Purekit cried out as her mother came. She pressed her nose in her mother's fur, relief washing over her. Oh thank StarClan, she's alive! the kit thought with relief. Maybe she'll make Foxfur deputy...?]
"It smells like Galestar, momma," Purekit squeaked, wrinkling her nose at the remaining patches of blood. "Fathom has blood in his mouth for some reason. It's strange, he only bit me and spat me out. He coulda killed me if he wanted."
[Purekit sighed, inhaling her mother's scent. It felt wonderful do be in her mother's fur now...]

[Hauntedheart nodded and sighed. She smiled at Purekik and headed back to camp. She padded into her den and sighed. She curled up in her nest and stared at the den's wall. I guess Lavenderrain is leader now... but Fathom is still alive. What will StarClan say? The medicine cat wanted ot help Fathom, she knew that the old cat was still in there somewhere. hidden, trapped, but still there. Hauntedheart wanted to help him, she wanted to heal him.]

[Shatteredfang padded back into camp, dropping the snake, mouse, and squirrel she had caught into the fresh~kill pile. She padded back out of camp, sitting down next to Lavenderrain. "I just led a hunting patrol," she meowed. "Would you like me to skim over the SeaClan border, to ensure there aren't any stray cats lingering?" she asked.

(( Also, the thing that was Fathom has the nine lives. D: Fathom didn't lose any yet, so this should be fun.
Not including Fathom's life. If the strange creature who's in Fathom's body (he calls himself "Blood") eats Fathom's soul, he'll get another life (ten lives.) I don't think he will yet though, so who knows. =w= ))

DARKSHADOW "Friendship isn't important anymore." "Alright than." [Darkshadow picked up the two mice he had caught and walked with Shatteredfang back to camp.] "In Seaclan.. I was always angry and sad.. But in Nightclan.. I just feel.. At home. I- I think I love Shatteredfang.. Oh.. She probably doesn't love me back.. I'll just go along with things."[He thought.]

(Actually I'm pretty sure Richkit and Purekit's apprentice cerimonies are WAY over-due.)
[Richkit bounded over to Purekit and licked her ears. He purred at her and asked,]
"Where were you Purekit? You keep wandering off too much! Can't you tell me where you're going next time and let me come too? I don't want anything to happen to you!"
[Richkit's eyes sparkled as he watched his sister protectively.]

Lavenderrain ((Mkay then. And possibly, since she'll only have one life... Well, we hafta figure this out a bit further. -.-'))
[Lavenderrain licked Purekit furiously. Eventually, the small kit's fur had no trace of blood left. Then Lavenderrain spoke.]
"Purekit, sweetheart, I'd like it if you and Richkit kept Leopardstorm company in the nursery and inside camp for the time being. I don't like it when you put yourself in danger," the purple eyed she-cat mewed, then nodded at Shatteredfang. "Foxfur is taking out another hunting patrol. Take Willowheart, Eaglesoar, and a couple more cats that aren't injured badly. Please secure the SeaClan border, and if you can, check the StormClan border as well," Lavenderrain ordered, then stood.
[She grasped Purekit by the scruff, and then began her trek back to camp. Eventually, the two made it. Lavenderrain gave Purekit a final lick, then pushed her towards the nursery. She turned and padded into Hauntedheart's den, looking over her Clanmates. Her heart plummeted through the ground and the sight- and yet she was injured as well. She took a deep breath, swallowing her pride.]
"Hauntedheart? I have a few cuts on my flank, but I think I might have wrenched my paw again. I'm not sure if it had fully healed yet. And one more thing: I'd appreciate it if you kept Darkshadow in your den, as a prisoner. He's not allowed to leave camp or go near the nursery. A warrior will be on guard in case you would need any help," Lavenderrain asked, trying desperately not to anger the medicine cat about the warrior guard.
[The deputy managed to convince herself that she was the leader now- her Clanmates would have to listen. Fathom had left- and he was a danger. Once Hauntedheart looked at her paw, she decided she would make an announcement- but she wasn't ready to appoint a deputy quite yet. What would StarClan say? Would they hold Fathom's lives against hers?]

[Purekit nodded to her mother and let herself be carried. She padded towards the nursery and found Leopardstorm.]
"Hey, Leoparstorm," she greeted cheerfully, "momma said I should stay with you."
[The small kit scuttled over to the she-cat. She padded up to her belly and stared at it. Gently, she pressed her paw against it and felt something kick back at her.]
"Oh wow!" she exclaimd, plopping in Leopardstorm's belly, "You're due soon, huh?"
She turned her head and called, "Come on, Richkit! Come see Leopardstorm's belly! It's huuuuge!"
