Kikyo held onto Alex, smiling ligthly down to him. "So I've seen. They are cute together. I'm happy to see he has such a close friend already. Especailly with your daughter."
Oomizu took her at off before turning back to Sora, reaching in a pulling out a box of strawberry pockies and holding them out to Sora.

Temari smiled proudly. "Yeah, me too. But I think its actually more than friendship at this point, don't you think so Kikyo?" She asked with a playful giggle.
"No no no. It's fine. I'm just not used to inventions such as this...more like, the robotics Jack uses for his Jack-bots and other artillery weapons." Kirara explained to the blond metahuman besides her, continuing to watch the small robot intently.
"Um, yeah. Right, sorry then."' Hitomi replied as she continued to stare off to the sky, rubbing the back of her neck with her hand. But as he described the other metahumans he had encountered while back home, she cocked her head back to where it was facing him once more. "Oh really? Huh, I guess I had nothing to worry about at all. You're a big boy, you can handle yourself just fine..." She told him as she moved her hand from her neck and stretched it out to touch his good shoulder, patting it in a friendly fashion.

"He's certainly unique," Gear agreed, taking it as a compliment.
"It's... okay," Hotstreak replied, continuing to stare at the fire. He didn't do anything to try and stop Hitomi from patting his shoulder. "You didn't know about all the others. Heck, there's one guy that became part-armadillo. And it wasn't just people that got effected, either. I didn't see 'em, but I heard about a giant amoeba, or whatever it was called. A Spider and ant, I think, too."

"Does it have a mind of it's own? Or is it completely robotic?" Kirara asked as she stood up, not finding the small machine as a threat, yet.
"That's all very interesting." Hitomi mused, trying to imagine such things actually happening. She then moved her hands down to his, picking them up before she took a step back, tugging on his arms very lightly yet still as playfully. "Come on, let's get back to the group now Hotstreak." She said with a smile. "Before they send out a search party to find us, maybe?"

"Well, I can send him off on his own for simple things, but he is completely robotic," Gear replied. "Like I said, he won't do anything unless I tell him to."
"Just listenin' to me grumble so you can talk me into going back to the others that much quicker, huh?" Hotstreak replied, smiling lightly as he stood. It was actually something he suspected; growing up in the situation he had didn't exactly make one very trusting of others, after all. On the other hand... she had been worried about him.

((can anybody help me catch up in this thing? I've been trying to sort out a mess after a car accident, and I saw both seasons of Rosario+Vampire. So, things have been pretty hectic XP))

"But if a virus got into it, strong enough to override all of your firewalls and other safety precautions, and took over the little guy, then it'll be all over." Kirara stated with a chuckle, running a hand through her dark hair. "But since that could never happen, we're in luck!"
"Well, yeah. Wait, no. What are we talking about again?" Hitomi asked with a laugh, sweatdropping quickly. "Well, unless you just want to hang here for a while more in your element." She asked playfully as she continued to hold onto his hands for a moment longer, swinging them back and forth in a childish way as she grinned up at him. She then let go of them once she realized that she was holding onto him a little longer than she had expected to, biting the inside of her cheek roughly as she mentally slapped herself.

"Hehheh... Yeah..." Gear replied, somewhat nervously. "That, uh... happened before, actually," he admitted. "But it wasn't like it was just any old virus! It was Braniac; he's like a living computer program. He can take over people, too... He... kinda used me as his puppet, for a while..."
"You seem kinda nervous," Hotstreak asked, smirking. It looked like she was just trying to get him back with the others as quickly as possible... "Y'know... I don't really like it when people think they can outsmart me into doin' whatever they want me to do... Makes me think they think I'm dumb, or something."

"Oh, you're just over-analyzing it." Hitomi lied quickly as she crossed her arms over her chest, glancing away from him for a second before returning her gaze to his smirk. "I'm not trying to outsmart you or anything Hotstreak, you just make it naturally easy..." She retorted as she smirked in a smug fashion.
"Wow, that's utterly...ironic." Kirara said as she blinked at him, touching his arm in a concerned way. "But you're okay now, right Gear?"

"I wonder why it always seems like my first instincts are right more often than not...?" Hotstreak mused, seemingly to himself. "An' I don't like 'dumb' jokes," he added, sitting back down with his arms crossed over his chest.
"Yeah, totally," Gear replied, with a nod. "Got checked over by a telepath; absolutely no traces of Braniac left in me or Backpack."

"Oh come on Hotstreak, I was only joking!" Hitomi exclaimed as she grabbed both of his shoulders in a firm grip as she bent at the waist to stare into his eyes. "You really are over-analyzing everything, you know that?" She told him as she shook him slightly, chuckling lightly under her breath. "Come on man! Pull yourself together!"
"A...telepath?" Kirara asked, cocking her head to one side, staring at him with a confused look in her eyes.

"So you don't even trust me, huh?" Hitomi replied, looking almost hurt at this. She let go of him quickly before she stood up straight, biting the inside of her cheek as she wrapped her arms around her own body nervously.
"What are all these places? Justice League? Actually no, don't tell me. I have a feeling it's an incredibly long story that'll just make me even more confused. So I'm fine for now, thanks." Kirara said quickly, with a small laugh, scratching the side of her head.
