*Luke fades in, working on a term paper. He stops, when the keyboard in front of him disappears, and looks around.* Alright. I didn't want to talk about how business law contracts are developed and monitored anyway...

*The two feel an odd tingling sensation, and The Brink itself seems to start to fade away from them. In fact, it's they who are fading out of The Brink. Within moments they are both completely gone* [Go directly to Jail. Do not pass go, do NOT collect 200 dollars]

*Luke falls forward beside Hajime's body, bursting out of whatever force held him in place. As he hits the floor, he lets off an long, blood-chilling cry.* --AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
*Luke struggles back up, shaking and shivering. He's moving, He's-He's back in the Brink. He whirls around and his eyes find the woman's corpse, lying twisted in an unnatural position.*
*No.... No she's not dead.... She's NOT, she....*
*Not even understanding what he's doing, Luke takes her by the shoulders.* Get up! GET THE ******** UP! *Luke shakes her, but Hajime's body slumps forward, lifeless. Holding her, his voice breaks.* Get back up, you b***h!!
*He heard the sickening CRACK. He heard it, and he knows.*
*Tears blur again in front of Luke's eyes, and this time they fall. Through his tears, Luke now sees her white face and feels the cold of her shoulders. He lurches forward, sobs wracking his body.*
*The Seraphim tossed her aside. That...Luke voice cracks through his tears.* THAT SON OF A b***h! *tossed her aside like she was worthless, like she meant nothing more than a piece of trash....As if she wasn't even....*
*Luke looks down at her, still shaking. He didn't even.... He couldn't....*

:::Moments later, Cora comes trotting into the main room. She heard a scream from her room, and thought it was Luke though she couldn't be sure. But within moments her fears were confirmed... there he was kneeling on the floor over someone's limp body:::

*Luke looks up at Cora with red eyes, still holding Hajime's body.* He killed her. He took her out of the Brink, and he killed her. And I couldn't .... *Luke's body shivers with his sobs.* I just stood there.

Luke! I need to look at her, I need to examine her body. Please, she might just be injured.
:::But when her hands made contact with the body she felt that it wasn't nearly warm enough to be alive... and Cora went white, still wide eyed, staring at Luke:::
It's ok Luke... let her go, I'll take care of her...
:::The tears started to well up in Cora's eyes as she slowly began to realize the sights Luke must just have witnessed... she didn't want to imagine:::

*Luke shakes his head back and forth. He points down.* NO! We are NOT safe. We're NOT. We...
*Luke caught his breath for the first time. He stared back down at Hajime. Luke builds up his chest as best he can, and he gently lays Hajime's body back down on the floor of the Brink. Her eyes were closed, and Luke realized. She's not asleep. She isn't even there.*
*Then, when he feels his breath shudder again, he latches onto Cora. He clenches his eyes shut and he allows himself to cry against her. For the first time, in a long time, he doesn't hold back.*
