"Hey, I just began to hone my psychic abilities lately, so sorry if they're not perfect each and every time." Hitomi shot back sarcastically, grinning all the while. "When you first got your powers, I'm sure it took you awhile to get used to them and to control them properly, right?" But before he could answer, she noticed him sitting up quickly and muggin' Gear down like he was going to blast him to kingdom come.
Kirara smirked at this, a tad eager to find out what it really was. "Oh really now? What is his real name then Gear?" She asked as she placed one hand firmly on her hip, the other hanging to the side loosely.
Hitomi sat up as well, glancing from Gear to Hotstreak, biting the inside of her cheek roughly. "Oi, Hotstreak, what's wrong?" She asked him softly, shaking his knee lightly, wondering what was going on at that moment.
[[Yeahhh! That was the episode alright! Haha, it was just funny to watch Batman and Static interact. It was like 'hood meets...richness?' IDK, brain farted on me as I was thinking of a word...oh! Sophistication! That's a good one. xD lmaoo.]]

"I forgot to threaten him to not say my real name..." Hotstreak replied, voice almost a growl. Darn it, Gear wasn't looking his way... Well, nothing a fireball couldn't fix.
"Yeah, it's just a nickname he came up for himself after getting his powers," Gear answered, with a nod. "It's-" He was cut-off, however, as at that moment Hotstreak's fireball landed nearby, just barely missing him, but exploding with enough force to knock him off his feet. "What the heck was that for, you maniac!?" the blond demanded, sitting up. "Kirara, you okay?"
((I loved watching that one with my sis. xd Especially when Static was first brought to the Bat Cave and was getting splinters (or whatever) pulled out by Alfred. Well, when he was giving Static his coat back, at least.
Static: Thanks, dawg.
Alfred: You're welcome, dude.
my sis: Oh my god, Alfred just said 'dude'! xd
Then we started laughing. xd ))

Kirara just stood there. Even though the explosion had just gone off with enough force to knock a human to the ground, she stayed firmly standing. Her ears flattened slightly as she glared at Hotstreak. "I'm fine." She said with a more demonic growl, wiping some of the soot from her face. Her robes were singed on one side, mainly on her sleeve and the hem, but besides that, she suffered not extensive injuries. "How about you?"
Hitomi blinked, not really knowing what to say at this point. She was literally speechless. But what she did do was remove her hand from his knee, not wanting to do anything else to provoke him at this point. "Geez, Hotstreak..." She mumbled under her breath, knowing that Kirara was mad now.
[[Wowww, haha, Alfred. Ahhh, he's like the best butler EVER! Hands down! ^^;]]

((He totally is. 3nodding If I ever get really rich, I wanna hire a butler named Alfred. xd Or at least one that'll let me call him Alfred. ^^; lol))
"Yeah, I'm alright..." Gear replied, standing up. He was surprised that Kirara hadn't been knocked over, but he had to remind himself that she was a demon.
"I heard what you were sayin'!" Hotstreak shouted over, not even thinking to pay any attention to Kirara. "You don't want anyone knowin' your real name; don't just go around blabbin' mine!" he warned. That done, he turned back to Hitomi to continue with their conversation, and noticed how wigged out she looked. It was then he realized that, through one thoughtless action, he had frightened her. After all that talk of kicking his a** and how relaxed they had been just a second ago, now she was scared of him? Because of one little fireball? "He's been through worse... Oh, forget it! I ain't gotta explain my actions to nobody!" he declared, standing up and storming off.
((The double negatives; they pain me! D: lol))
"You're such a psycho!" Gear called after him, but didn't follow. There really wasn't anywhere he could go, and certainly not any helpless people he could hurt. Instead, he jogged over to Hitomi. "Are you alright, Hitomi? He didn't hurt you, did he?"
((I'd love to stay up later and keep role playing, but it's almost seven o' clock in the morning, here. D: The sun is up, birds are singing, and I'm gonna go fall face-first into my pillow and pass out. Good night/morning!))

Kirara growled, her eyes bleeding into red as she watched Hotstreak vanish into the woods. But as soon as he was gone from sight, she shook her head violently, slapping at her cheeks until they turned a bright pink. "No no no! Not now!" She exclaimed to herself, as if she were yelling at her demon blood. She then watched Gear run over to Hitomi, so she did the same. "Hitomi-chan! Are you okay?" She asked of her friend, worriedly.
Hitomi stood up slowly, shaking her head quickly, still a tad dazed. She then glanced in the direction that Hotstreak had stormed off in. No, he was wrong. He wasn't the reason she was so freaked. Truthfully, it was Kirara. To see her friend going all demonic over some guy, and the way she looked doing it. Ack, it just sent shivers down her spine. But she was soon snapped out of it as she looked up at Gear, tugging down the ends of her skirt before shrugging. "Yeah, I'm fine. Confused as all hell, but fine." She muttered before she looked over at Gear. "You okay?"

Gear had seen stranger things than what Kirara had gone through just then, so it didn't bother him too much. "I'm alright," he assured. "Just a little dirty from the soot and falling to the ground. You sure you're not hurt? Hotstreak... doesn't exactly pay much attention to who else might get in the way when he gets mad..." he asked, wanting to make sure she didn't get accidentally burned by a stray spark and not noticed because of everything that was going on.
Kain had been watching the scene with an emotionless expression. He could have been compared to someone zoning out in front of the television, if he knew of such things. "I'm going to have to go and retrieve him again, aren't I?" he asked, to no one in particular.
"Nah, let him go blow off some steam for a bit," Jack replied, knowing he didn't have to. "If he's still ticked at any one of us when we go try to rescue the others, things could go... badly. And besides, you're still hurt. I'll go get him before we leave."

At the sudden interest if she had any injuries on her body, Hitomi gave herself a quick look-over. "I'm fine. I just got a small hole in my skirt, but I think that was always there." She said with a shrug of her shoulders before she shrugged. "I don't think anyone does. I mean, if you were only focused on that one person, sometimes the fact that their might be casualties might not go through your mind at the moment. I feel no hate towards him for not thinking ahead. He's just...impulsive. And that's natural..."
Kirara furrowed her brow as she stared at her friend, nibbling on the inside of her cheek before she looked over at Gear. "Hitomi-chan, even if he didn't hurt you this time, he could next time. And maybe, it wouldn't be an accident." She warned her, concerned.
"No." Hitomi shot back with a look of disbelief. "Hotstreak may be a tad...'hot-headed' at times. But he would never just blatantly hurt me for no reason." She clenched her jaw before she relaxed once more, placing a hand firmly on her hips while the other just hung there loosely.

As Gear's vision shifted, so did Hitomi's. "Yeah, I guess you're right then. I will.." She muttered, moving her free hand up to behind her neck, rubbing it nervously.
"We only want what's best for you Hitomi-chan. And Hotstreak...he's not that." Kirara chimed in quickly, tugging at her singed robes slightly.
"He doesn't have to be. I'm not the best at everything, Gear might be, but you guys still like me for that." Hitomi stated, trying to make a point, grinning at the mention of Gear. "And if he ever tries to hurt me, don't worry 'kay? I'm a big girl, I can handle myself..."
"Um...right." Kirara said with a smile, nodding at this fact.
"Soo, I'm just going to grab his big ol' butt and drag him back here, 'kay?" Hitomi said with a smile, moving her hand down from her neck, kicking off some dirt from her shoes.

"No one's best at everything," Gear replied, with a shrug. "Hey, you're our friend; we don't wanna see you get hurt. Physically or mentally... and it might not be the best idea to go tracking him down, just yet," he tried to advise. "Probably should just let him... burn himself out, so to speak."

Temari just laughed, holding Kratos tightly before she looked back at Inuyasha. She smiled before she leaned her head against his shoulder, watching as Tomoe began to fall asleep as well. "You okay dear?" She whispered, staring up at him curiously.
"I don't think I will be hurt, but yes, I could be hurt, alright." Hitomi responded with a nod, to both of Gear's warnings. She then sighed as she stretched upward, letting her back crack in a few key places. "Okay, I'll let him be for the moment, but I'll be sure to get him when he does." She said with a sigh, lowering her arms to her side once more.
Kirara smiled lightly, a thought coming to mind about them, but she decided against voicing it out-loud. Maybe to Hitomi only, when they were alone together. Like, 'girl-talk' or something. "Yeah, okay Hitomi-chan." She said with a nod.

"You elves are about as emotionally driven as humans, correct?" Kain not so much asked as stated. There weren't any elves in Nosgoth, but that didn't mean he wasn't learning as much as he could about his current "companions." "You wouldn't understand, then. Or, perhaps you would, and think still think it 'evil,' or whatever silly label you put on those vague concepts of morals."
"In other words, yes," Jack "translated," with a smirk. "He just doesn't call it being evil. Probably selfish, or that he has 'different priorities'."
"Alright..." Gear replied. He wanted to tell her everything he thought about Hotstreak and any relationship the two of them might end up in... but he figured she would just get mad and not listen. Baby steps. "Oh, hey, Kirara, I almost forgot; I was gonna tell you Hotstreak's name. Um... I probably shouldn't, though..." he admitted, rubbing a hand on the back of his neck. After all, that's what set him off to begin with.

Hitomi smiled as she nodded, remembering that little conversation being the trigger that set off Hotstreak's trigger. "His real name? I know it, I picked it up when I was in his mind, visiting his subconscious..." She stated as she looked over to Gear, then to Kirara. "But he made me swear not to tell anyone, and well, I'm a girl of my word..."
"That's fine Hitomi-chan. Right now's not the best time after all. Maybe, in awhile or something." Kirara stated clearly, smiling reassuringly to the two of them.

Link shook his heads, "we have emotions, we are just very very good at concealing them which is why people think that sometimes we ourselves dont have emotions " he sighed "its a really complicated things us elves we only like to show emotions to those very close to us" he looked over to Jack. "well if he was truely selfish he would help us without complaining, after all, Vyse can call in for another ship to help us get to places faster once we save him and the faster we travel the faster you can get off this planet Kain" he smirked
Inuyasha nodded "Yea im good. im just thinking" he smiled
