Shadow smiled at 9 as a dew claw emerged from his left forearm. He used this to cut the loaf of bread in half then retracted it as he answered. Just grabbing a bite to eat. I love cheese and I don't have the connections of my counterpart to get free food. As he spoke Shadow broke off a quarter of the wheel of cheese. He placed it inside of one half of bread and tossed it to 9 before hopping backwards to sit on the counter and begin to eat the cheese in his right hand ignoring the bread for the moment.

9 said in a hate filled voice as she kept an eye onhim. She caught the bread but didn't eat any of it.
"I wonder what you will do it if destroyed my body and the powers along with it... I know you can remake me but not the powers.. It would be a funny thing to see. Or would you destroy my soul?"

Shadow chuckled at 9. No one was yet aware how much he had changed. He answered simply. Well I'd destroy your soul to make sure it was a thorough job. If you die it's no longer my problem. In fact I'll tell you what. If you can offer me just one interesting artifact or magical object slash book for me to study I'll return your soul now. Oh and you can't use what's already in my possesion to bargain. Shadow then went back to eating the cheese pausing only long enough for one bite of bread.

Moku pouts, talking to herself, "Hmm, nothing of interest in here..." She stand up, and stretches, then heads outside to the next best thing, the gradens, to see if there is anything livelier out there.

9 blinked a few times and tilted her head to the side as she studied him. She was at a lost not sure what to make of it.
"How about the key to the hall of doors?"
9 asled slowly. She no longer needed it and had another way in.

Shadow tilted his head for a moment in thought as he continued to eat. Finally he paused and said Never heard of it. What is it? Sounds interesting but for all I know you're talking about the hall upstairs. As soon as he finished speaking he began to eat once more but slightly quicker. He devoured the bread and worked his way through the cheese quickly leaving the last quarter to be savored.

She thought over her words carefully. In the wrong hands the Hall was a dangerous thing. 9 closed her eyes as she leaned back on the heals of her feet and let out a slow breath.
“It’s a place that sets between plains. It looks like a never ending hall to most with doors on both side. This hall can... “
She cut herself off as she turned and left the room. 9 had forgotten that it can send a person through space, plains, and even time.
“Never mind Shadow.. I don’t think I can give you that.”

Shadow chuckled his eyes crinkling into crows-feet. Sounds all the more interesting. Use your judgement 9. Well if you're not willing to part with that then what else you got? He was now merely nibbling at the cheese like a rabbit at lettuce. It was surprisingly good.

Shadow shrugged before saying The light that cast me has shifted so has my form. Now back to the dealing. I never mix business and pleasure. Oh and I've got an addition to whatever offer you make. Before I return your soul if you want I'll destroy your body and remake it so that the rose powers disappear forever. They are too tempting for too many and if I can't have them I'd love to make it so no others could. He cocked his head slightly to the side. This would tell him just how desperate she was now.

9s face paled at his offer. How she longed to true be rid of the powers with out anyone else getting them. But this deal was too good to be true coming from him. She gently fell back and sat on the floor thinking.
But why... I don't get it...
"I’ll destroy my own body thank you… I don’t trust you to do it right. And.. Umm what to give…"
She slowly pulled out the key and look at it. After a few seconds she shook her head then put it back.
"I'll give you every magic weapon I own... the healing stone Breg gave me... the pendant the helped to hold back a curse til I found a cure... and the curse itself."

Shadow tilted his head back and forth before saying Very tempting but I'm not sure. Healing stones, countercurse items, and curses are too common to people in my field of work. As for killing yourself. You'll find that because I made that body I can destroy it very easily. It's a simple matter if it's something you wish and will allow to happen.
