6: You reach a long, slender tree and it looks quite ordinary. "Hello," says the long slender tree. "I have a small question. I have two friends, Dilly, Milly, and Nilly. Nilly is taller than Dilly, but shorter than me. Dilly is shorter than Milly but taller than me. How tall am I?"
Azmodeus just stared at this new tree with an arched brow and crossed his arms. At least this one didn't decide to go up an disappear on him again as he mulled over the question.
"Well tree...I could waste time and try to answer that question, but something tells me you don't even know the answer given you only have two friends..but listed three names. Goodbye."
If you tell them you do not know the tree gloats. "Why, I didn't think you would. It proves I am the better tree." But you are not a tree at all!

She couldn't say she was terribly amused though at least a riddle was better than the last three trees. At least this one wasn't crying at her or making her feel ill. Ice decided to give this one some thought, turning the riddle over in her mind. "The third tallest?" She ventured. Since the tree had given no specific heights she could only make a vague guess. When the tree told her she was wrong, Ice merely gave it her most chilling stare. "I could always cut you down...then you would be the shortest." She said with a smirk before heading off to find her last tree. Her outfit is the standard Cheshire uniform with a long dark blue coat accented in lighter blue with matching scarf. A necklace that looks like an actual snowflake can slightly be seen under her scarf. Cat like ears in dark blue with white tips sit atop her head and her fingers are tipped with elegant blue claws. 9: You reach a tree with a lot of signs on it. The signs read "This, Way, To, Nowhere, And, Everywhere." They are in separate signs, and the "And" is a separate sign of its own. This is a very informative tree!

He simply ran a hand down his face in disgust and moved right along.

The demon shouted at the top of his lungs, throwing his hands up in the air, running into the same trees over again. This place was just a giant mindscrew, but now that he was done ane over with it he could fume his way back on to the talking sign again...

[ENTERING] His hands were tingling to the point of a maddening itching. Absent mindedly, the ink skinned creature wandered into a land filled to the brim with color and trees. His eyes followed the trunk of the nearest tree towards where the sky was supposed to be. The clouds here did not seem to be moving. In fact not much seemed to move but him. "This place is too strange," Valendil mumbled to himself with a disapproving snort, "Much stranger than being underground by far." He stared at the unmoving sky for a split second longer until he began to feel a bit nauseous. He was a creature of earth not sky. Lurching forward, his hand clamped against his mouth he tripped over the annoying tail that seemed to have wrapped around his legs as he stood dazed in this strange....world would have to describe it. It felt like another world yet it did not. He cursed as he fell. As he propped himself up with the unwilling help of a nearby tree, he saw eyes and froze. Backing away he found a sign. She barely evaded a critical hit from the creature, and managed to scramble her way to safety. "I have to seriously find a tree?" scoffed Valendil, "I'm in a webbing forest!" Tossing his hands up he stomped towards the nearest tree and gave it a halfhearted kick. "Found one!" he shouted back towards the sign which had vanished. Looking up again he saw teeth....lots of feline teeth. "You look a little lost!" chirped the mouth. "Nah do I?" Valendil spat. Moving cautiously away from the watching smile he went to try again. "Another tree," Val huffed hoping this one would have no smile. It looked like candy. "This is stupid." "Excuuuuuuuuse me?" the tree scoffed, "I think you look stupid! Now will you help me get this color out? Give me a shake if you are smart enough." Feeling rage bubble inside his chest, Val gripped the tree as hard as he could and shook with all his might. The tree laughed as a red diamond looking item dropped form its branches on top of Val's out of place cat ears. 10: You reach a tree and on top of it is a smiling set of teeth. Not the tree itself, just on top of it. "You seem a little lost", says the smiling set of teeth, "but not to worry. Everyone's quite lost here. I hope you find your way, there's so much more for you to get lost in." This tree seemed different than the others. For one it wasn't trying to talk or move, which was actually something of a relief. Ice was about ready to try and find something to burn the place down with, despite the fact she hated fire with a passion. These trees had thoroughly managed to irritate her and she was having a hard time keeping her expression properly schooled. As she looked up, she noticed a smiling set of teeth at the very top of the tree and she stiffened. For all she knew whatever was up there could be dangerous and she wasn't about to let it have a chance to pounce down on her when she was unprepared. Instead it spoke to her with some cryptic line about her being lost and how everyone was lost. It even wished her luck in finding her way though somehow that well wish felt a bit menacing to her. "Rather like a particularly ominous promise..." she decided mentally. When she went to speak to the teeth they were gone and she tapped one foot in annoyance. "Oh yes, that was ever so helpful..." Her voice was practically dripping sarcasm as she headed back to check with the sign again. [ENTER]Grimacing, flashfire got to his feet, sighing. This was why curiosity shouldn't always be heeded.
Looking around curiously, he looked up at the way from which he'd come, decided that he was unlikely to make it back up that way, and started walking in a straight line, noticing that he seemed to be in the woods, and that the trees were not like those he was familiar with. Then, he saw the Wayfinder. His eyes widened slightly when it actually spoke to him, and further, gave him a quest. "O...kay" he said, feeling rather awkward, talking to a signpost. With a small wave, he moved off in the same direction he'd been going.OOC My character's username: flashfire My character's level: 1 Character's HP: 30 Current party:Current Guild: No Guild Location: Tulgey Woods Small IC description of character: On the tall side and slim, without looking skinny, flashfire has charcoal colored skin, off-white hair, yellow eyes, and a horn on his forehead.
