This was the hard part, she remembered. Instead of the calm before the storm, this is the part that was harder than the others. Thunder, lightning, a storm, drafts-- it was difficult, but she felt that if she had survived it so far, why not now?

The gusts of wind were buffeting the glider, forcing Raum to use her strength; her muscles, coiled under skin that seemed to shift even as she looked at it, pulsed and flexed as she held it in place as best she could.
Finally, nearing the brink of exhaustion, Raumias allowed the craft to slip onto the island. She approached the shrine, just like last time, and exhausted she selected her blessing.

Having forgotten about how to start the contraption Kin tried to run off the edge with it before stopping abruptly and watching the thing fall over the cliff.

After almost running himself off the cliff Kin remembered where the winding mechanism was and reached down to wind it up before he jumped on and off he went!

After the glider is launched there is a moment of piece before the same vision of the day before floods Kins senses, regardless of having experience It before doesn't make it any less raw, painful, terrifying, when he comes to from the vision his glider is plummeting and it takes him a moment before he can even out.

After dropping quite a ways a new feeling fills Kin, courage, but a small dose of fear. It feels exactly like he is flying with his own wings and a smile escapes.

Suddenly all Kin can feel is a terrible anger, and it is directed toward him. Diving quickly he escapes the feeling and finds himself hovering over the worlds edge.

Kin found himself being pushed around on the glider by the wings of the chasm and held on tightly.

After a few more scares from the gusts Kin managed to land gently onto the island with the temple on its center. Reaching forward Kin picks up another of the blessings, having already taken one the day before, just like before he is transported back to the top.

He comes in grinning madly. This was his favorite place to be. Despite the hardships he went through before, this was better than anything else. Because he was flying once more. Sighing he reaches up to one of the gliders.. and then his brows furrowed. This one must be different because he couldn't figure out how to actually use the thing. His hand scratches his head as he stares at the glider.

He finally finds the winder and turns the thing quickly. He hops into the Glider and shoots off into the sky. He sighs happily and makes his way high into the sky.

He was feeling much better about flying this time. He's high in the sky and barely comes down as he continues forward. He feels the wind and flies with confidence. He respects everything about this trial. And he loves it.

He feels such an overwhelming amount of joy. His own joy mixing in with that and he just feels so euphoric. His mouth is quirked in a big smile as he closes his eyes and just glides with the sky. Everything felt very good by this point. He knew exactly what he was doing.
