"Try licking the clover mush first." Nikolai said from the far left. His ice blue eyes bloomed out of the darkness. He watched her carefully. "My name is Nikolai. May I sit with you?" He stood up and padded gently towards her. He stood a good six feet above her.

Watching Checkers so intently after Strongheart put the mush towards him, she jumped at the voice telling the rabbit to lick it. She turned and saw a huge wolf behind her asking to sit with her.
Speechless she nodded but turned her attention back to where it was when the rabbit started to move towards the clover mush and eat.
"Look Strongheart you did it!" Domino wisper yelled so she didn't startle the rabbit.

Strongheart smiled as Checkers started eating before turning to see a white wolf towering over her. "Hello." She said, then looked down at Domino saying, "I didn't know if the little guy would really eat it. I'm glad he is though because that means he's healthy." Strongheart placed a bit more of the mush near Checkers so he could eat more.

Domino carefully placed the bunny down near the mush and vibrates in place.
"So he'll be ok. I can keep him?"
She looked at Strongheart with so much joy.

"I guess you can keep him, but he may have to stay here in this area of the den or be with you at all times. You may see him as a friend, but others may see him as well..... lunch." Strongheart replied as she looked down at Domino, choking on her last word, not wanting it to be true and also hoping Domino didn't hear her.

Tilting her head she looked towards the wolf,
"What will they see him as? They wouldn't hurt him...right? They wouldn't hurt my new friend" she stated a bit unsure "right?"

"Well.... I can't promise you anything. I'll make sure no one tries to hurt Checkers. We just can't ever leave him alone in the den and especially outside the den. If someone else doesn't know he's your friend they may, well..... eat him..." Strongheart replied to Domino, not knowing any other way to tell her what could happen to Checkers. She looked at Domino apologetically and wondered if the pup would hate her for telling her the truth.

"NO! They can't eat him!" Domino yelled glaring at Strongheart "Nobody can eat him! He's my friend and a baby!" She shouted as she starts to cry "I don't want Checkers so be eaten." she bawls curling up into Strongheart "Please, don't let him be eaten."

Strongheart looks down at Domino and nudges her, trying to calm her. She then says, "I'll make sure nobody eats Checkers. As long as he stays here in the healer's area or with you I'll make sure to tell the others that he can't be eaten. I guess I should make sure to be more specific because if I tell everyone what I told you some wolves or foxes may try to separate Checkers from you or this section of the den and then he'd be fair game... I've really got to be careful on how I word things."

Xander had been awake for quite some time and as usual for him at this point he had started scrying when he awoke. He had watched as Strongheart had tried to help him and he had taken note that Nikolai was not a threat. He teleports to the riverbank near the others. "How is your little friend doing Domino." He smiled at the little wolf.
Hiro had awoken not more than a minute ago noticing that Roza was still fast asleep he decided to just lay there.

Nikolai settle down next to them. He put his muzzle down so he wouldn't frighten the rabbit. "I won't let it get hurt." His breath ruffled the rabbits fur. His body casted a shadow over them. His blue eyes squinted at them. "where are you from?"

Strongheart looked at Xander and said, "I think the bunny's going to be fine, though I may have accidentally mentioned that others may see him as food... Now Domino is not happy with me at all."
((They're back in the den, in the healer's area. Sorry sad ))

Calming down, Domino lays under Strongheart and listens to Checkers heart as he falls asleep.

Xander smiles after hearing the good news. "Are you sure its ok if he is in here?" He points at Nikolai, "Don't get me wrong after scrying I know he is friendly however Ren might get mad at a stranger in the Den."
((lol my bad I'l edit it I just thought you were outside by the River cuz Nikolai hasnt been accepted by Ren quite yet.))

Nikolai stands almost scraping his back on the ceiling. "if I am not welcome then I will stay outside." He pads softly out and looks to the sky, dark purple storm clouds crowd the sky. The sun barely having room. He looks over at the smaller wolves in worry, this storm will flood their den. " do you have any higher ground?"
