The girl stared up at her ghostly friend while he searched about over the park. He made a cup with his hand over his one red eye, as to block out the sun beaming down. She patted her foot on the ground impatiently and put her gloved hands on her hips. Just like a man to make a lady wait she thought, tapping her foot slightly harder with each passing second. Suddenly, she felt as though something or someone was rushing towards her and she cocked her head in the direction it was coming from. Junko turned just in time to see a boy with silvery hair eat pavement at her feet. She jumped, a bit startled. But before the purple clad girl could even ask if the kid was alright, she felt her hands being swallowed up by his as the boy asked for her name.
Junko's face puffed up as she tried with all her might to hold back a laugh at the theatrics just played out in front of her. Now, this guy is amusing she thought, chuckling to herself. "It's J-Junko." the girl revealed with a squeak. "You umm, ok? Mazarin was it?" She inquired, as the boy was still kneeling on the sidewalk, hands still gripping her's firmly, and eyes peering straight into her soul almost. "You didn't hurt your brain or anything?"
Hades had been scouring the area in search of his friend's twin brother. He may have had only one eye, but it was a good one. Never failed him before. When he was certain that the purple haired boy wasn't anywhere around he glanced back over to where his hyper trainer was standing on the ground. The ghost began to float back down to earth when another figure came into view. A figure that was a little to close to his master for comfort, and was.... HOLDING HER HANDS?! Well, this would just not do. He would not have this. The specter shot down from the sky as fast as he could to investigate this travesty that lay before him. When he came close to the two humans, he threw his arms up and his tongue out. He then snarled threateningly at the young boy.~~~~ Pizza stared blankly through squinted eyes at his trainer. He wanted him to battle right now? Couldn't he see that he was TRYING to take a nap? The Cyndaquil yawned again and then shook himself violently to help relieve the sleepyness. The fire type then let flames burst from his back.
"Arrghh!!" Jomei screamed and leaped back in surprise, knocking his Pokemon off his shoulder. "What are you crazy!?" he yelled "Are you trying to kill me?" The boy patted his hair on his right side to make sure none had caught fire in the sudden outburst. He then turned his attention back to the monsters in front of him. Pizza seemed to be awake now at least, as it clenched it's little fists and stared down its opponent.
The unassuming Hoothoot looked at the Fire Mouse, at the young boy, then back to the Mouse. It hooted again playfully and jumped down from the branch on which it was perched. It bounced cutely on one leg towards the little fire type.
"Pizza, use Leer!" Jomei commaned, holding the egg Eva had given him tightly. Pizza's eyes began to glow a bright red as he planted his two front paws sturdily on the ground. The Owl Pokemon felt a shiver run down it's back at the sight of it's opposer's creepy expression. It hooted and bolted back a few steps. Jomei sighed at the fact that his friend hadn't learned any fire moves yet. Using Tackle over and over got a bit old as he found out from his fight against 'Bob' the Sentret back in Goldenrod.
"Use... Tackle I guess." The boy instructed. Once Pizza started growing and learning new attacks, battles would be much more pleasurable. But for now he had to stick with these boring tactics. What else could he do? It wasn't like the egg in his hands offered much in the way of assistance.
Hearing his partner's orders, Pizza pushed all of his weight off of his feet which were firmly on the soil beneath him. He launched himself head first at the startled bird and could feel his skull impact its somewhat cushy stomach. Feathers flew all over the place and the owl squawked in pain from the force of the collision.

'Come on, Plua, bring this over-sized serpent down to size,' Riza thought, her hands clenched into tight fists that she had brought up in front of her. If one hadn't known she was currently participating in a Pokemon battle they might have thought she was about to punch someone's lights out. Her Fearow let out a loud shriek as it dove in, ready to tear into the Ekans, but the snake was well prepared for it and deftly weaved off to the side, its forked tongue poking out of its mouth in amusement. Devon had called for it to use Poison Sting and it didn't hesitate to oblige, sending another spray of poisoned needles at the Fearow.
"Crap," Riza muttered, knowing this wasn't going to end well. "Plua, try to dodge!" she called, but it so wasn't happening. Plua was completely caught off guard by the evade and counter tactics and her fully exposed back was struck by the venomous barbs. Plua cried out painfully and hobbled back towards Riza, a sickly look on her normally angry face. "Double crap," the raven haired girl muttered again, though at least this time she was aware of the fact that her Pokemon had been poisoned.
"You'd best give up now!" Devon called from his side of the field. "There's no way you can take down my Ekans! Isn't that right, buddy?" The snake didn't respond; it only wavered back and forth on the spot. "Buddy?" The Ekans' head had suddenly ducked down, and it appeared to be hiding inside its coils. Both Devon and Riza had no idea what was going on until the snake Pokemon began to glow brightly. The pile of coils grew larger and larger, and the head rose up out of them, also much larger than before. When the light faded, a much larger and scary looking Pokemon glared at Riza and Plua, hissing viciously. * * * * * Kord let out an angry sounding cry as he began to windmill his arms around, quickly generating the electricity for the Thundershock Katie had called for. With a grunt he launched it at the Buneary, which was still perched atop the rock. The rabbit Pokemon jumped up, looking down as the electricity slammed into the rock below her and she laughed loudly. As she reached the top of her jump she carefully aimed herself downward, and before Katie or Miles could figure out what was happening, the Buneary slammed down onto the Buizel's back, practically squashing the poor weasel into the forest floor.
"Miles!" Katie cried, looking over at Kord again. "Thundershock, one more time!" Again the Elekid quickly built up the electricity and fired it at the pesky little rabbit, only to have the Buneary step back, grab Miles by the arm and spin him directly into the path of the oncoming attack, being sure to let go before the electricity could pass through the Buizel and into her. Miles shrieked painfully as he fell to the ground once more, but this time not before lashing out with his twin tails and launching a quick Sonic Boom at point blank range, which hit the Buneary hard enough to send her crashing into the rock she'd been previously trapped against. Miles took the opportunity to scramble back over to where Katie was, but it was quite obvious that the Buizel was very angry now.

He stepped outside and took a deep breath. His nostrils tingled with the scent of fresh flowers. It almost made him sneeze, the scent was that overpowering. It didn't take long for him to get used to it, however, and he casually strolled into Floaroma Town, rather impressed with the large sign that loomed over the entrance of the city. His eyes first met with a flower shop, expected in a town surrounded by plants. He scouted out the Pokemon Center, and slipped inside. He was going to need all the strength he could get if these 'Drifloon' were as strong as those people in Jubilife were leading him to believe. Cable was fully healed and in tip-top shape. I really doubt I'm gonna need anyone other than Cable, he thought handing the Nurse the Pokeballs that contained both Treecko and Chimchar, but on the off chance that I do...
Suddenly, a woman burst in to the Center, crying her eyes out. "Help! Help me, please!" she cried, "A Drifloon took my little Harry!" A few people approached her and put their arms around her, comforting the woman.
"Excuse me!" Kilik ran up to the group, "Where'd the Drifloon go?"
"They always take them away from the Valley Windworks," explained one of the men, "Any kid playing over there seems to get abducted by the Pokemon. We've tried putting a baricade around the building, but the employees complained."
"Don't worry," Kilik said, "I've got things covered." He held Cable's Pokeball in his hand and opened it, the Electabuzz zapping into the room. He could immediately feel that the air was tense and that something was happening. "Where is the Windworks?" Kilik asked the man.
"To the east," he replied, pointing, "just a bit beyond the bridge leading north to the woods."
"Got it," Kilik nodded. He looked over at the counter and clicked his tongue. There wasn't enough time to wait on his other Pokemon. He'd just have to collect them when he got back. "Cable, let's go!" Kilik dashed out of the building, Electabuzz following him like a streak of lightning.
-*-
"Junko," he repeated, "Oh is the name of an angel!" He swooned and nodded to her question. "My brain is fine," he told her. His brain was never truly fine, and he was always a tad off, but she didn't have to know that. When the Duskull got in his face, he was completely oblivious to it. "This is your partner?" he asked her, looking at it.
Banette hovered around for a moment then noticed the Duskull getting in Mazarin's face. The puppet flew closer to Hades and shook his head. That's not how you scare someone, the Banette hissed to the fellow Ghost. He motioned for Hades to follow him and approached an unsuspecting older man. Tapping the man's shoulder, Banette gripped the zipper that kept it's mouth shut. As soon as the man turned, Banette unzipped his mouth and a towering shadow burst out, screams of what sounded like a thousand corpses filling the man's ears. The shadow got sucked back into the Pokemon and he zipped it up, waving to the old man as if to say 'Have a nice day.' Thaaaatssssss how you do it, he floated back to Hades and crossed his arms looking rather smug.
Mazarin completely ignored what was going on in his peripheral and continued to look into Junko's eyes. To turn back the creep factor a tad, Maz let go of her hands and put his in his pockets. "So what brings you to the National Park?"

"Why not brighten things up Saph? Use your Sunny Day!" Mitsu directed, pointing towards the sky. Mitsu smiled, already knowing what attack she'd be following up with. It'd be a killer one too. No way was she going to lose this battle! It'd been far too long since she'd won. She'd get stronger and soon she'd be able to beat her friends in a battle. It had even been much, much longer since she'd been able to pull a victory from any of her old friends.
Sapphire was slightly annoyed that the attack wasn't something vicious and deadly. Then again chomping down on some rocks didn't seem too appealing. The Houndoom howled, and suddenly it seemed as if the sun was shinning brighter and that the area had heated up several dozens of degrees. The two trainers were starting to sweat under the blistering heat.
Logan chuckled. He'd seen this strategy many time in his lifetime as a trainer. He was an older Hiker and had had his fair share of battles and exploration all over the Sinnoh region. "Hahaha, I can see where you're going with this girly!" Logan laughed, "It'll surely knock out my Graveler. That is if you can catch him! Rock Polish Graveler!"
The stone Pokemon grunted, light shinning off all his rough edges as if he were a sparkling diamond. Suddenly the slow heap of rocks was as fast as Sapphire, well, maybe not as fast but he was definitely more speedy.
"Rock Polish?" Mitsu questioned looking to Logan for an answer. He seemed friendly enough to answer her question unlike some of the rude and base trainers she'd battled before.
"You must be one of those newbies to Sinnoh!" Logan laughed. He too had heard of the massive unloading of trainers earlier in the day. They came from all other regions and none of them had a clue about Sinnoh, it's Pokemon, or the attacks and abilities that were native to the region. "It's a pretty darn handy attack! It increases the speed of Pokemon greatly. As you can see my slowpoke of a Graveler is not as fast as your blue little critter over there!"
Mitsu nodded, a useful attack indeed. "This will make things a lot more tricky," she laughed. Or maybe not! "Or at least a bit longer," she whispered to herself. She had just the attack in mind.

"Where?" Mike repeated with a nervous laugh. "I'm not sure if I can tell you. I mean, it's not like I don't trust you, I'm just kind of on the run, and...I don't...I don't want to go back to the asylum!" He clutched his head with his free hand. "It was awful! Terrible! They drugged me, they took away my Pokemon! But I showed them. Ha...haha! I sure showed them! It'll take them months to repair all the damage!" He pulled the phone away from his face and roared with laughter. "That'll teach them they can't keep me down! Even with all my p-problems, nothing could keep me from getting back to you! Heehee-HAHAHA!" He wore a big, toothy smile, his eyes wide from the joy of his escape. "There was so much fire..." He giggled.
"But," he said between laughs. "I-haha-called for a-hee-reason!" He grabbed his PokeNav with both hands, the smell of burning plastic began to fill the air. "I missed you, Flannery. I really did. I wanted to call to tell you that no matter what you may think of me, no matter what happens to me, even if I die again, nothing will change that!" He loosed a terrible sounding laugh. "You hear that? I've died and even that couldn't stop me! I'll fix everything. I'll make everything disappear. I'll try my hardest to be the perfect boy for you, by removing all that wronged us in the past!" He took a deep breath in hopes to calm himself down, but he was too worked up. Smoke puffed from his mouth as he spoke.
"I've got a plan. A plan to make everything right in one go, but I need a lot of friends to help me out. This presents a problem due to my recent...you know...issues-heehee-BUT, I know that you must have been just joking the other day when you walked away from me! You must have been kidding, right? Surely I can count on you, my love, my soul mate, my endless desire, to stick by me in my time of greatest need?" He held out his PokeNav and begged to it like he did the day of the party, when he was on his knees and tears filled his eyes. His cheeked began to sting as once again tears began to flow down his face. "I ask you again, Flannery, no, I beg you. I need you to believe me when I say that I never meant for any of this to happen. Think about it. Would the Mike you knew, the Mike I was before all this, would he have even considered doing anything that I had done if he knew that this was how it would turn out? I mean, really, the very thought of it is laughable...hm. Hm-hm-hm..." He pulled the device away from his face and practically slammed his hand to his lips, but he couldn't stop himself from letting out another psychotic fit of laughter as he waited for the red-head's answer.

"Hey Saph! Please just be a little more patient all right? I need you to use Odor Sleuth!" Mitsu directed, a confident smirk playing on her lips. She had this battle in the bag! The sun sparkled rays down upon the four participants, making the two humans sweat some more. The poor hiker, clad in his thick hiking gear was suffering under the intense heat more so than the small, short girl across the makeshift battle field. The sunlight was still strong and Mitsu hoped it would last long enough for her to pull off what she was planning.
Sapphire growled again, growing more and more impatient with this battle. Just let me use a goddamn Solar Beam already! the Pokemon was mentally screaming. But fine, fine. He's obey his master but only because she was such a sweet, fragile little girl. He didn't want to make his trainer frustrated. Loyally he sniffed the air, catching the mineral and earth-like scent of his opponent. The next attack would for sure connect and it better be a Solar Beam.
"Well, well. Looks like we're going to have to take out that dog before he takes you out! Earthquake!" Logan commanded. The girl was clever, managing to find a way to sidestep his Rock Polish. Odor Sleuth was regarded by most trainers as useless, he had to admit, this girl sure knew what she was doing.
Graveler stomped his weight into the ground causing it shake. A few weak trees fell and rocks all around shattered. The attack was devastating. Mitsu knew what kind of damage it could do, after all her own Nightmare had used the attack to completely destroy his foes before. Earthquake was a mighty attack, and hopefully Sapphire had it in him to withstand the hit.
Wait, wait. What was she thinking? Of course Saph could take the hit. He was the most stubborn and arrogant Pokemon she had on her team. There was no way he'd let a pile of rocks beat him. He braced himself for the attack, it came a lot faster than he was expecting thanks to that Rock Polish. Cloud of dust and dirt filled the battlefield, obscuring the view of both trainers. Was that it? Was it over?

Screw it! His trainer was too slow. It's not like he was disobeying orders or anything, it was obvious that she was going to shout "Solar Beam!" in that tiny, cute voice of hers after the dust cleared. So why lose the element of surprise? He opened his mouth, it only took a few seconds to collected enough sunlight. Thank you Sunny Day! And then he let it loose. A streak of green flashed through the dust, cutting the cloud in half. It didn't matter where the hell he aimed the thing, he could barely see a few feet in front of him, but he knew it would connect.
Logan was the last, unfortunately for his Graveler, to notice what was going on. It was too late by the time he was tuned into what had just happened. "Protect!" he called feebly, though it was to no avail. The attack had already struck. The green beam surged against the rocky hide of Logan's Graveler, hitting him with the intense heat and power of the very sun that their planet revolved around. The Rock Pokemon was down for the count.
"Hahaha, my youngest sure did a good job!" Logan laughed recalling his fallen Graveler. "I should heal up this guy here, maybe I'll cacth you around Sinnoh's mountains some other time!" The old Hiker laughed before heading back to Jubilife's Pokemon Center.
"You did amazing Saph!" Mitsu laughed, hugging the Pokemon around it's neck, "Even if you are impatient!" The purple headed girl laughed, proud of her Pokemon. He was tired and that Earthquake had given him a pretty rough beating. "Why don't you take a break?" she said before returning the Houndoom into his Pokeball. She would heal him in the Pokemon Center in Oreburgh. For now she'd venture into the cave, hopefully she wouldn't get lost.

"T-that's good." Junko said, her palms sweating inside her gloves. "That was quite a fall. Guess there're people out there who're just as clumsy as me. Heh heh..." The boy still kept her hands clamped inside his own. She nodded when he inquired about Hades and tried to wiggle her fingers a bit inside his death grip.
Hades watched in awe as the ghost puppet gave a lesson on Scaring 101. He took a mental note and clapped his transparent hands. You seem to have a lot of experience in the arts of frightening helpless people, he told the other Ghost Pokemon, I'm quite impressed. Completely forgetting about the boy invading the personal space of his trainer, he stuck out his hand to shake with his newfound friend.
"Oh, um" Junko began to reply after Maz released her hands, "I'm waiting for my brother. We're supposed to meet up here." She sighed, "He's probably making me wait on purpose." Junko puffed out her cheeks a bit in discontent.

It wasn't even a few minutes into adventuring through the cave that a Geodude appeared, blocking her path. Mitsu grinned, he looked like the perfect target for some training. "Let's see what you got Haku!" Mitsu called out as she summoned the seahorse Pokemon. She was just about to order a Water Gun attack when the crazed Geodude grabbed her Horsea and ran off deeper into the cave like a crazy, possessed Pokemon. Well, it more like hopped , but still it was getting away!
At first Mitsu was stunned. When the heck did anything like this ever happen? But then she snapped back, realizing that she should be chasing the Pokemon if she wanted to get her Pokemon back. "G-give me back my Pokemon!" she screamed at the Geodude. Though her shouts were falling on deaf ears. did Geodudes even have ears? Either way the Pokemon was still hopping away, holding the Horsea above it's head (or was it a body with a face?) with both of it's rocky hands.
Unfortunately for the poor critter, well, it was just too slow. "I said give it back!" Mitsu shouted, now holding onto Haku as well. The Seahorse Pokemon cried out in pain. Mitsu growled, kicking the Pokemon, hard. She hoped it would make the Geodude let go of Haku. Though his grip was iron.
And the kick? Not. A. Smart. Idea. Mitsu's eyes teared up, damn that thing was hard! Stupid Pokemon. Stupidstupidstupid Geodude! Wiping a tear from her left eye Mitsu summoned Ivy onto the scene. "Save Haku for me willya? And while you're at it murder that Geodude!" Mitsu shouted, now sitting on the ground, clutching her foot. Luckily she was wearing boots, it wasn't too bad though it did still hurt pretty badly.
Being the hero he was, Ivy used a simple Vine Whip to save the Horsea before unleashing a barrage of Razor Leaf at the mental Geodude. It crumbled under the leafy rain. A murder it was, the Geodude didn't stand a chance. "Thanks buddy," Mitsu smiled, returning both Pokemon before releasing her ever chatty friend Karri. "Get me back to the Pokemon Center would you please?"
"Hurt your foot, baby?" Karri snickered.
"Shut up and just transport me."

"Well, you certainly did pull of a surprisingly lucky victory there but don't expect your luck to hold. Pokemon battles aren't won by luck." Roark commented as he released his next pokemon, Cranidos. The small ancient pokemon let out a small growl as it dug its talons into the ground. "Cranidos let's whip up a Sandstorm!"
As if it was psychic another one of Roarks well trained Geodudes appeared holding a pair of goggles out to Robin. "Thanks!" Robin said with a grin as she put them over her eyes just as the sands started to pick up. Robin watched as her Slowpoke disappeared into the Sandstorm. "Wowie, this is gunna be interesting. Still, luck might have won Slowpoke the last battle but my pokemon is good enough to stand up on his own without luck!" Robin yelled out now, that was the only way to be heard over the roaring sands. "Slowpoke let's use your Curse!"
It was a miracle that Slowpoke even heard Robin, though he might have been unconsciously cheating with his psychic powers. The dopey pokemon was very reassured when he heard his friends voice, this sandstorm was really scary! Focusing his power in himself he glowed white for a second as his speed went down and his attack and defense went up.
"Cranidos use Focus Energy." It was a good strategy to boost oneself when they had the cover of the Sandstorm. Inside the middle of the sandstorm the Cranidos simply narrowed its eyes as its energy seemed to focus itself inside of him. The battle was starting off slow but when it picked it up sure would pick up.

Eventually Dante just had someone in the line hold his egg for a moment while he mounted his Rapidash. Giving a quick thank you to the girl who held his egg Dante carefully wrapped it up in his bag and set it down between Apollos neck and his body. 'Please don't fall.' Dante thought to himself as he backed Apollo up a good distance for them to get a good running start. "Ok ready to go Apollo?" Dante asked the impressive fire horse, Apollo just snorted and shook his head sending a small shower of embers down into the sand. "All right then." Dante muttered before kicking Apollo forward.
The fire horse had a flat out accepleration that would make a sports car green with envy. It only took a few feet and all ready Apollo was going faster then a lot of pokemon could. Dante could feel Apollos muscles work as the mighty Rapidash gave a mighty leap and they were airborne over the small lake. It seemed to last forever before the landed hard on the ground Apollos hooves digging into the sand as he tried to slow himself down a bit before trotting slightly before coming to a complete stop.
Inside his chest Dante thought his heart was going to burst through his throat. When they finally did land he didn't wait to long to get off of Apollo's back clutching the egg close to him. "Good job Apollo." Dante managed to say as he patted the large pokemon on the neck gratefully.

Upon seeing Medicham's successful attack, Mateo smiled, but he already had a suspicion that it wasn't going to be that easy. His suspicions were right, as it turned out, and he frowned slightly as Anna executed her Pain Split. He had to admit that it was a clever time to use it, and he smiled again in Nina's direction. Over time he'd grown to strongly dislike psychics and their Pokemon, but he was enjoying this match, no matter how short it would end up being thanks to Perish Song.
Medicham shivered as the Pain Split took effect, knowing that her stamina had just taken a severe blow. She wasn't out of it yet, however, and she listened carefully as Mateo gave his next order, this time for a Fire Punch. Once again the Meditate Pokemon sprang into action, her fists practically exploding with fiery energy. She too was enjoying the battle, particularly the craftiness of the Misdreavus and her trainer, and she let out a cry as she swung her flaming fists at the ghostly Pokemon. ===== Sparkle was easily more excited by the thought of a battle than Lily was, and even more so the prospect of battling alongside a teammate for the first time. The Bulbasaur, though less enthusiastic about being thrown into another battle so soon reluctantly agreed, and she jumped down from the bench, gazing longingly at the fountain as her trainer and the girl named Eve made their battle preparations. It would be a double battle, with both Miharu and Eve using two Pokemon. The light on Sparkle's tail was flickering brightly in anticipation, and she took position beside Lily, looking back over her shoulder at Miharu and grinning. Miharu smiled back at her and glanced at the Bulbasaur, wondering if Lily would choose to evolve as well. If we can get the Eevee to evolve, maybe it'll inspire Lily...
They had previously decided that Eve would make the first move, and she didn't hesitate to do so. She quickly set both Pokemon on the attack, with her Umbreon leading off with a Quick Attack directed at Lily while the younger Eevee launched an impressive Shadow Ball at Sparkle. Miharu wasn't too worried about Lily, as by now the Bulbasaur had plenty of battle experience. She hunkered down as the Umbreon sped towards her, and as she sidestepped she extended one of her vines at just the right moment so that it snaked through the dark type's legs.
The Umbreon's golden-yellow eyes went wide with surprise as suddenly its face had been introduced to the ground. Miharu saw this out of the corner of her eye and smirked as she called for Sparkle to deflect the Shadow Ball with a Thunderbolt, and the Flaaffy was quick to comply. Her wool began to spark brightly as she gathered the energy and fired it at the oncoming Shadow Ball. The two energies collided in the middle of the battlefield and exploded loudly on impact, causing smoke and static to rain down everywhere. It seemed this was going to be a good battle.

Kilik kept running, looking to his side to see Cable. His heart surged with pride. Thanks to his long legs and nimble movements, the boy arrived to the Valley Windworks rather quickly. He slowed down, panting slightly. Nothing seemed too out of the ordinary. It was a building surrounded by windmills. "This must be Floaroma's source of energy," he said to nobody in particular. He explored a little more, looking behind the building and behind a few of the windmills that were placed with their backs to the mountain. "Huh," he threw his arms up and then dropped them to his sides. "Where could those Drifloon be?" Kilik looked at the ground then up to the sky.
"Drifloon?" a man said, coming out of the building, "I'm sorry. I saw you on the security camera and couldn't help but overhear," he put out his hand to shake Kilik's. "So you're the boy that they called about. The one who rushed out to get here to help out. You've got spunk, kid. The name's Grayson,"
"Kilik," the boy responded, shaking the man's hand.
"Those Drifloon are rather tricky. They've got a leader among 'em," the man explained, "And if we manage to fend off the leader, they all go away. Perhaps if you beat the leader, they'd stay away for good. Drifloon are very impressionable so if you beat it, then they'd figure you'd be here forever and back off. The problem is getting them here."
"I was told they come when children are around the Windworks," Kilik said, looking around once more, "So if we can trick them into thinking there's a kid here, I can get a battle out of their leader." He snapped his fingers, "And I know just the way to do it!" He fumbled through his bag and pulled out his PokeNav to call his little sister. "Jaimie?" he said, "It's your big brother! Listen, I have a huge favor to ask of you..." Electabuzz watched his trainer pace back and forth as he began to explain the situation to the little girl on the other line. He then looked at Grayson, and raised an eyebrow. It appeared that the man had been studying the Electabuzz the entire time. Slightly weirded out, Cable took a few steps away, not breaking eye contact with Grayson.
"Alright!" Kilik said, putting the PokeNav on the ground and flipping it onto speaker phone. He turned the volume up as loud as it would go. "Grayson, go inside. Cable and I will stay outside, hidden until they get here." The old man nodded and Kilik took a few steps back, hiding behind the building with his trusty side-kick. "Okay, Jaimie! You're on!"
"Lalala~" the little girl sung on the phone, "What a pretty day it is! Just me playing outside! The Valley Windworks looks like a good place to play hide and seek! I will hide and my parents will come seek! But I suuuure hope those mean on Drifl...Driiiiffff...Drifloon don't come get me! Teehee~" Kilik had to admit that his little sister was quite possibly the worst actress in the entire Hoenn region. Yet it didn't take a quality actress to lure those Drifloon. The boy looked up and saw a few purple spheres floating in the distance.
"Aaaalright," Kilik smirked. That's them, I bet!

Banette shrugged it off like it was nothing, then shook Hades' hand. I've been scaring people for a while, he explained to the young Duskull, Masssster gets me to do it aaaall the time. Especially for him to 'rescue' pretty girls. The Banette floated back over to his trainer and began making muffled sounds, his zipped mouth curved into a smile. He was practically telling the boy to stay with this girl and not to screw anything up! He'd made a friend and he certainly wanted it to stay that way. It was the first time that he'd ever been friends with another Pokemon that didn't belong to Mazarin.
"Your brother, huh?" He put his hands on his hips and laughed, "I wouldn't doubt it. If I had a sister, I'd make her wait around for me. I mean..." he coughed to try and catch himself, "Not in a mean way. If I was pulling a prank on her, maaaybe, but...that's-that's not to say he's pulling a prank on you! Gah," he hit his head and groaned, "Sorry. I'm not good at talking to girls. I get all...tongue-tied and stupid." Banette rolled his eyes. If only Maz knew exactly how stupid he was sounding right now, it would be enough for the trainer to get him to change his ways and fly straight for once. "I'd say let's get a smoothie, but I'd hate for your brother to get here and then you not be here!" The boy snapped his fingers.
"I could go get you one," he motioned both of his thumbs over his shoulder towards Goldenrod, "I could make a mad dash to the Center and get you a smoothie if you want. Then I'll ruuuun back over here," he jogged in place, "and bring it to you. Eh? The weather's a little hot so it'd be the perfect thing to cool down with, Yep!" He nodded.

Riza let out a frightened squeal and stepped back upon realizing what had just happened. The Ekans had evolved into a very frightening Arbok, which didn't sit well with the raven haired girl. Riza had always hated snakes, stemming back to when she was a little girl and her brother Jaden had put an Ekans he'd found outside in the garden in her toy box. It had only been a baby, so it hadn't developed its poison yet, but its bite was still rather painful and the incident had ended with Riza receiving a nasty bite on the inside of her right calf (she still had the scar to prove it, and this is why she always wore those dark leggings). She also remembered, with vivid detail, how the Ekans had lunged at her, only to intercept Crenu's arm instead. She shuddered and tried to shake off those awful thoughts, and instead looked back at Devon and his Arbok, which had been set on the attack.
"Plua, look out!" she called, suddenly very angry at herself for getting distracted by her thoughts. Having been weakened by the previous attacks from the then-Ekans, the Fearow couldn't dodge and was subjected to a powerful Crunch, leaving her with very little stamina. "Damn," Riza grumbled, deciding to recall the Fearow before she could take any more unnecessary damage. Her first instinct was to send out Yula and let her psychic attacks destroy the cobra Pokemon, but lately her Corphish hadn't been seeing enough battles, so she grabbed the water-type's poke ball instead.
Diemia appeared in a bright flash of light, her pincers snapping together sharply as she took in the situation. She looked up at the large, snake-like Pokemon in front of her and sneered. Finally, a real challenge! Riza was glad to see that the Corphish was up to the task, and she nodded. "Start off with Harden," she commanded. "This isn't gonna be easy!" * * * * * The Buizel looked over at Kord and gave a sharp little bark and slashed the air with his forearm as if to say he was gonna take care of the Buneary. Kord nodded in agreement and stepped back, though he was ready to spring back into action in case Miles were to need it. 'I can't believe this Buneary,' Katie thought, watching it as it got to its feet, visibly shaken after being thrown into the rock by Miles' Sonic Boom. She'd already snatched an empty poke ball from her bag and was holding it at the ready, very much aware of how hypocritical she was being after telling herself she wouldn't capture any more Pokemon until the four she had were tougher. But then again, no one could fault her for capturing strong and interesting (and cute!) Pokemon along the way, could they?
"Okay Miles, blast it with your Water Gun!" Katie shouted, her fingers closing tightly around the red and white poke ball. The Sea Weasel Pokemon nodded, his cheeks puffing out a bit before he fired a stream of water at the dazed Rabbit Pokemon. Buneary opened her eyes just in time to have her face soaked by cold water and she shrieked loudly, trying to bat the water away with her long ears. The cold water did snap her back to her senses, however, and the moment the water died down she was back on the attack, lashing out with her powerful ears to strike Miles with a Pound attack.

Karri and Mitsu appeared in the Pokemon Center in Jubilife in a warp of green and blue and purple. It was basically a multicolor rip in space that had allowed the two to traverse the distance in only a mere few seconds. Most people would have thrown up have a Teleport, but Mitsu got a little adrenaline rush every time. She giggled. Secretly, she got a kick out of teleporting people and seeing the wrecked after the transportation was over. It was her little inside prank with Karri and the two loved it immensely.
She healed up Sapphire, returned Karri, and tended to her foot a bit before heading back out. "Thank you boots," Mitsu laughed, walking outside the red roofed building. The injury may have been a lot more serious if it weren't for her choice in foot wear. "What should I do next?" the girl mused, "Well, maybe I'll check out the store . . . though I am a bit low on cash."
Moments later the door swung open and she stepped into the Pokemart. It didn't hurt to look, right? And then she spotted a familiar short blond. "Kasiya!" Mitsu greeted, waving from across the store.

Nina watched as the Medicham's fists exploded in fiery power; regardless of the match's turnout, this was her opponent's final attack, and it seems as though Mateo was going to make it count. That borne in mind, Nina had to make certain that her final move packed a wallop, as well; there was zero room for error. To say that she was nervous was a bit of an understatement.
The psychic continued watching as Medicham took action, running and swinging its fists at Anna. She studied the Pokemon's movements, and it was after a moment or two that Nina decided on the action that she needed Anna to take. She shifted her gaze from the Medicham to her own Pokemon; Wait for the right moment, she thought-spoke, and then make your move. Anna nodded quickly.
Absolutely.
The Ghost kept her eyes carefully fixated on her opponent; Medicham grew closer and closer in a very short period of time. Anna was picking up on Nina's anxiety, and did her best to stay as calm as possible.
Wait...
Not yet...
No...
...
NOW!
In one swift motion, Anna swerved up and around the Medicham's swinging fists, positioning herself immediately behind the taller Pokemon, gathering up ghostly energy inside of her body in the process; it was a moment later that she formed that energy into a Shadow Ball attack, firing it at her adversary.
Nina and Sabrina were dead silent as they watched Anna's move execution.
