((Sorry thain, hope you don't mind me moving things along for a bit since nobody's posted in a while! ^_^*))

As they approached the lounge, Kayla walked up to her father with a happy smile. "Father, guess what, guess what!" she said excitedly, as if she were a little kid in a candy shop. Isaac smiled as he heard his daughter approach. "It's good to see you're doing better Kayla." he said with a smile as he noticed Siom had come in with her.

((You are forgiven, Lady Zelda; I should be the one to apologize. I've been meaning to get this message up for a good while: my laptop broke, physicallty. It is actually in two pieces held together only by wires (and some tape) crying . With the holidays and school starting, I haven't had a chance to fix it. I'm going to post now, hopefully to catch up, but know that I'm borrowing a computer at the moment (thus the lack of my speech bubble signature ("You'll never expect...")) - my computer's still not fixed, so don't get yourself stuck with my characters. Also, remember, the rules DO allow you to move other characters, so if you need to, feel free to use any and all of mine. I'll catch-up when I can (hopefully with my computer intact). So - with no further OOC - my pathetic post.))

Dark looked up from his glass, seeing Graff had already ingested his. A eyes squinted a little as a small smirk crept under his mask. He could only think how that beer would settle in his stomach without food. That could make anyone drunk. He sat up and nugged Graff, "Weren't you supposed to be making something?" Standing up, the man walked back where Shin-lu and Ilyana had just poked their heads out. Strangly jovial, he greeted them to enter the kitchen himself, "Ladies."

Siom stood back, allowing Kayla to tell the story her own way. He didn't want to interfere with her joyous moment with her dad.

Par'il clapped his hands together after prodding the fire one last time. "It is almost finished, I need to start on my other dish now if I want them done near the same time." He started straight into a sprint, running pass Shin-lu, Ilyana, and Dark asking "Could you watch that?" as if they knew what needed be done. Not that it mattered though, Par'il wouldn't be gone long. He dashed across the clearing to his room and gently, but rapidly, pushed back the door. Dropping down to the floor in front of the wooden chest grown over with vines at the foot of his bed. Softly saying something, he opened it. Shuffling through, one could hear the chest had much in it - almost metalic sounding - as he shifted through the contents of the arena-given box. He pulled out a basket of herbs - the ones he had picked from a few days before. Raising two fingers to just in front of his face, blocking his lips, he again closed the box, magically locking it. The vines also grew back tightly around it with his 'growth' spell to help seal it shut. "I should probably keep this elsewhere." Par'il grew out the plants in the basket some more and pluck of the tips of each. Setting the basket on the table next to his bed, he rushed the herbs back to the lounge, ready to make his meat-less dish for the feast. He darted through the lounge and back into the kitchen where he rinsed off what he had brought, grabbed a knife, and began to mincing.

((Crud, sorry about your computer thain. I haven't been posting much either. I've been stuck at home with a bad cold and sore throat these past few days. xp Hope you can get things taken care of thain.))

Isaac smiled as he looked back at his daughter. "So, what is it you wanted to tell me Kayla?" he asked her. Kayla smiled back at her father. "Well, we managed to patch things up. Siom accepted my request, and we're engaged." she said happily. Isaac smiled as he stood and hugged his daughter. "My goodness, that's wonderful! I'm so happy for you both!" he said, smiling at Siom.
