Yep, I voted already. ^ ^ That's what I thought...turns out we're all more-or-less the same age. I'm going into 9th grade, but I'm only 13. XD Really? Cerbera said that 3 days ago, too T___T Wow...Orna, which college did you go to?

@Kitsune: It's irritating, isn't it (feeling younger than most everyone) I was on a thread about the new HP theme park not too long ago, and everyone was going, "Yeah, I'll be 22!" "Cool, me too!" And then there was little ol' me. "Erm, I'll be the ripe old age of 15-16. Fun.
@Basically everyone who's posted on this thread in the last three pages or so: Our school system is the 1-5, 6-8, 9-12 system. The good thing, though, is that all of the high schools in my district (I go to public schools) worth going to have tons of AP classes, which, at least for us, are the ones that are considered college courses. I have a friend who went to Central and got a full ride to the University of Arkansas, as well as a 40,000 dollar fellowship, plus she finished her first semester of collage in her junior and senior year.

The results came out. Check the first page of the "Ravenclaw Tryouts" page.
That's where I saw it. Haha, 3rd Chaser! =D
I'm not planning to go to UW yet. I'm looking at smaller colleges or more private like Johns Hopkins, Yale (it IS actually a small university, relatively), Brown, etc.
I'm only 13 though...

Really? So young...I'm with you Orna, I feel so old! I'm 18 (going to turn 19 in sept) Have my driver's license and whatnot. I did my presenation for philosphy today! It wasen't bad at all...I think I did pretty well. I love my philosophy teacher, he is laid back and doesn't intimidate me.. sweatdrop I didn't try out..I have way to much work to do, so I wouldn't have time to play quidditch. Good job everyone!

*Clings to KiteAmaya*
I love you! Why? Because you're younger then me! Do I need any better reason? *grins* I happen to be fifteen. I won't turn sixteen untill the beginning of September! Which means I'm in 10th grade at the moment. And that means again that I'm gonna send in an application for "Vidregående" - "Further going" - before the 1st of March, and after that it's exams! My very first exams. Ever! gonk
Only thing I've had is tentamen.. Which doesn't count, since only the math tentam sucks. The Norwegian and English ones are fun, due to being able to sit for hours writing a story! biggrin
I want Philosophy at school! It's a pity that I can't chose that as a subject untill the second year at the school I'm starting on. Which sucks... So, tell me, what do you guys talk about in Philosophy? I wanna know exactly what to expect! So tell me all the juicy gossip!
Anyone know of a good exchange program? I really want to go to another country for a year. Hopefully either Japan, Canada, the US, Greece or England. :3

Hello there! I feel that my own strength hold steady in the writing and organizization world. My writing holds a lot of wit and sarcasm, that just comes out of me naturally whenever I'm given a topic. I don't get to write as much as I would like due to college classes and pure lack of motivation, though. Organization is something I was going to possibly persue as a career, since having a nice clean area to work in always makes me much more productive - as it should for most! My name is Amanda!

You've already been accepted to a collage? eek I just registered for high school. You people are all freaks.
But you're my freaks. whee Actually, I'm probably the biggest freak here. And one of the youngest. But there are people my age! XD
Anyone else feel like I'm overusing the smiley faces? They're just so convenient.
Anyway, as far as collages and future careers go, I've only got the vaguest of ideas. I'd love to write fantasy novels, (I'm working on one now) but that's not the exactly steadiest of careers. I'd also really like to work at an endangered animal conservation of some type, or go into something in the marine biology field. In all honesty, I haven't started looking into collages yet, although I've been meaning to.
@LHH: HA! Old person! Joking, we all love you. I think...
