the effects were good, but that was about it; the dialogue was choppy and unnatural, the movements for bending was over-done and unnecessarily long (Aang once went through a small dance just so that he could end with a thrust and propel wind in front of him, rather than simply thrusting his palm forward); the rules of bending were changed from the way the actual show had them (only the most advanced fire-benders could create their own flame, when in the show anyone that could fire-bend could create their own); the cast was largely inexperienced, to the degree that everything they did seemed forced and overly dramatic
I may not be the most qualified person in the world, but I know when a movie is bad, and this was just an awful, awful movie

Thanks for the advice Lance.

But yeah, that's pretty bad. What can you expect when you put a bunch of kids on a stage and ask them to act? As for the dance though, he does that in the show a few times too. I think it's just to look cool.

And it's not like we don't have the technology to make it that good..... But instead.......They made me want to burn the theater, get on an airplane,go to the directors of the movie's house, get a ladder and properly beat them for the violation of my eyes. burning_eyes ~Zin nombles gummi's~ Rant overs!!! rolleyes 4laugh

They always dress up an actor with a bunch of plastic crap, and make it look like some cosplay s**t. What did we invent CG for if we can't even use it in our movies? I have seriously considered making myself an epic cosplay costume, just to show people who actually cosplay how it should be done. All these Naruto cosplayers running around with a flimsy little vest, where the anime has a big bulky flak jacket. Serious fail. Of course, any costume I made would be against the rules to bring into the con. If it required metal parts, I would use metal.

I was hopin for the Halo 3 movie, and to be honest, I think it would be good cuz they have Peter Jackson working on it. Second...world of warcraft movie....I'm interested if its a serious plan to come out
