some vines slowly creeped up from behind on Jack and Kikyo. the vines then started growing sharp barbs along them as they got closer.

Oomizu shrugged. "Most do it because the can. Either that or they make sure only one member from the village survives just to-" She stopped herself and slapped a hand over her mouth, looking up to Kain with suspision.
Kikyo nodded to what Jack said. "I agree. It seems too unusual that anything would be growing here yet." Kikyo felt as though something were beind her, so she reached for her bow on her back, ready for anything.

The vines whipped over to the two and one of them wrapped itself around Kikyo's leg digging in and sawing into her with its barbs. it started pulling on her

Kain chuckled darkly. She certainly was amusing... "You certainly have come across many evils in your short life, haven't you?"
"Kikyo-Oneii!" Jack shouted, charging his Warlord Sword up with fire and slashing at the vines, making sure to cut the one holding Kikyo's leg. "Time to get outta here, huh?"

Dark Maverick423 Laharl smiled as he started undressing infront of her. after all they had already done way more then just seen themselves naked. after a few seconds he smiled "Ready" he said as he made his way slowly to the lake

"And here I thought I just wasn't trying hard enough to scare the others away," Kain replied, somewhat jokingly. "Actually, with characters like the one in green, I'm half-surprised no one has come up to me and demanded I not feed on humans, and focus on animals in their place."
"I feel like taking a shortcut," Jack stated, sending a blast of fire straight up. He grabbed a hold of Kikyo before taking off with his heli-bot, flying up through the hole he created. s**t, what if whatever this was got to the survivors...?

Oomizu laughed lightly and shrugged. "You could try, but I doubt you'd effect me. Any ways, I'm assuming Gear doesn't know since I don't think he's seen you feed."
Kikyo looked down to te vine creature, frowning lightly. "We have to urry and find any survivors, otherwise they might not make it against the vines."

"None of you have seen me feed, and I intend to keep it that way," Kain replied, deftly. "And not to spare your eyes; I'm sure there are others who, like Gear, would try to stop me, and I simply do not want to have to deal with that."

The vines quickly rose up trying to catch up to Jack as they trailed him not far behind. a small roar came from outside the ship
Laharl smiled as he slowly swam to a small bolder near the center "So. Star do you want me to scrub your back?" he asked her

"Bad plants!" Jack teasingly called down, sending a blast of fire towards them. He wondered what the roar could be, but figured he'd find out soon enough. Especially since he and Kikyo were now out of the ship.

Sora heard the roar. He looked to Oomizu since he didn't go too far. "Did you hear that Oomizu" he called.

The fire did little damage to the vines however it did cause pain to the beast as it let out another roar. the vines cleared a large clearing as a giant eye looked at Jack and Kikyo from a distance

Oomizu shrugged to Kain. "Fish swim, birds fly, and vampires feed off of human blood most of the time. It's one of those facts of life people should be more accepting of." Her ear twitched a little and she looked to Sora. If he had heard that... "Shippo!"
Shippo, now the size of your average fox, ran over and stopped at Oomizu's feet, whimpering lightly.
Oomizu frowned and looked around. "Where's Uncle Jack and my mom?"
Kikyo saw the eye looking to them and carefully adjusted herself so she could shoot a sacred arrow at the eye.

"I'm gonna guess... some sort of plant dragon," Jack commented, before seeing Kikyo getting ready for a shot. "Hey, wanna shoot a flaming sacred arrow?"
Kain was slightly confused as to how either of the children could have heard that roar, but couldn't deny he had heard it as well.
((Seriously, the monster is on the other side of a mountain. It's a stretch to say Kain was able to hear it. xp ))

The monster growled as it whipped its vines at the two trying to knock them out of the sky
