The supposedly evil king who sends his daughter, without apology, explanation, or even sympathy, away for being possessed by a benevolent demon. Later, it is discovered that he only sent the daughter away as a show of love, and to hide her away from persecution and the experiments his misguided Mages were performing to perfect an ability to excorcize the demon so that she could live a normal life, but only minutes before his head is removed by method of Guillotine by a misguided servant of wrathful gods.
