I am Akimoto AyumiNot letting her failed attempt affect her mindset, she ran at the wall again. This was the jutsu that she was struggling with the most. And she didn't understand why.

I am Akimoto AyumiShe wasn't going to let this jutsu overcome her. She could master it and she would. She didn't know how the other academy students were doing but they were far from her mind. Even Hiei that she had met and were starting to have a slight friendship with.

I am Akimoto AyumiShe felt her chakra come back to her. It was a good feeling to have power. Not that she was power hungry or anything. But it would feel really nice to rest and have a good bath.

Yumi pushed those thoughts out of her mind. She had to complete this if she wanted to train with Giglamesh. She ran at the wall again.

I am Akimoto AyumiSkidding off the wall and sliding backwards. She hesitated for a moment before lunching herself forward towards the wall again.

I am Akimoto AyumiShe rested yet again as she failed to make the last attempt at the jutsu. She spinned her kunai controlled around her index finger.

I am Akimoto Ayumishe let the kunai spin around her index finger one last time then grabbed it firmly in her hand. she had a determined look on her face as she stared down the wall.

I am Akimoto AyumiYumi dashed up the wall focusing her chakra to her feet. She made it past her mark that was the last time she had made it up the wall. She slashed another mark with her kunai and it was just a few inches from the top of the wall. She smirked as she slide down and pushed away from the wall. She had a smirk on her face as she felt like she had defeated the wall. Looking toward Giglamesh she nodded confirming that she wanted to continue her Stance training. She then picked up the two shinai's that were on the ground. Weights still were burdening down her wrists and her ankles.
Hp: 9/9
Cp: 1/2DC:11 Pass the DC then you don’t receive damage. If failed then –1 Hp. Continue until completed ten times. If Hp reaches 0 post 4 rest posts to regain full hp, then return to previous actions. After she picked up the shinai's she assumed the stance of the clan. She wanted to make him proud. Looking straight ahead as she slide her right foot backwards and stood in a slightly kneeling stance. She flipped the shinai in her left hand so that the blade was reversed. She felt a bead of sweat drip down from her brow to her cheek. She had forgotten how hard this was. She had been practicing jutsu's and she thought that had been difficult. But this stance training far surpassed that.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Yumi almost had the the stance down. But there was one small correct that needed to be made. Giglamesh whacked her leg with his own shinai. She let out a yelp, that she was trying to surpress with no success. She kept her focus straight ahead trying not to show her discomfort. No tears formed in her eyes because she didn't want her Sensei to see her as weak, that would be the worst form of punishment for Yumi. As soon as she regained from the brutal hit from Giglamesh's shinai she fixed that part of the stance. She would try to retain it perfectly the next time. This would be a training session that she would never forget. She put herself back into the stance and subjected herself to scrutinization again.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Giglamesh would survey Yumi's stance to find nothing wrong with it. She was getting better at it, for now. She refrained from smiling as he had nothing to correct her about. He smacked her with the shinai anyways. It didn't hurt though as her stance was solid. She really would like to have moved on right then to a more in depth training. Although she knew not to get a head of her abilities. If she did it would be disasterous. Also, she didn't want to take the risk of Giglamesh changing his mind about training her and accepting her into the clan. She maintained the stance for the moment. She was concentrating as hard as she could even through the fatigue that was slowly consuming her body. The weights kept feeling heavier and heavier as each minute went by.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

A sharp twang rang out as Yumi was smacked in the arm with Giglamesh's shinai. She bit her lip so hard that it began to bleed. She then looked at Giglamesh for a brief moment as she was holding back her painful cry. Looking towards the fron of her body she brought her arm back into position. The shinai that she was holding had almost fallen out of her grasp. But when she had biten her lip she also had tightened her grip on both of the shinai's in each of her hands. this was the most painful but rewarding experience she was ever going to have. At least that was the thought in her mind. After all, Yumi was only a genin and so this was the real world according to her perspective.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Yumi thought she had done reasonably well with keeping the stance but Giglamesh was obviously going to correct her on any single portion of her body that was not correct. She saw him raise his arm back to smack her shoulder with it. There would be severed bruises all over her body. If she was lucky they would go away quickly. Yumi could only hope to be so fortunate. Wincing slightly she relaxed her shoulder to give herself better range of motion with it. The stance was defensive and offensive. It would be useful to her. Especially in situations where she was outmatched. To be able to deflect a blow and reverse the energy involved in it would be her greatest asset. And maybe she could, with the proper training, be matched in skill with Giglamesh.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Crack! Came the sound of the shinai against the front of her leg, right on the shin bone. Her eyes welled up a little bit and she forced the tears back. She instantly pulled her leg back into position. That one was definitely going to bruise. She wondered how she was going to persevere through these lessons, espeically if this wasn't the only physical lesson he had in store for her. She had heard rumors from Hiei that Giglamesh was the toughest person in the whole shinobi community of Iwagakure. But that didn't even intimidate Yumi, she asked him to be her sensei for a reason. And that was because she could be the best kunoichi if she was trained by the hardest person.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.

Yumi was frustrated. And if she had been any sort of an angry person she would have lashed out at Giglamesh. But she was typically a very mellow person and wouldn't allow herself to be angered by Giglamesh. Especially when he was teaching her a lesson to make her stronger and a better kunoichi. She let him hit her, not like she had much of a choice, and she felt her muscles tense up. As they did when they were really sore and more bruised than she would have liked them to be.I will prove to Giglamesh-sensei that I am worth training.
