oh dude...that sucks.... but theres always solo && ensemble now. ^^ and i'm sure youll be ok. cause if the other 4 or 3 bail then your next in line for the spot.

Just a question kinda random but do any of you no how to double tongue??? we are learning and its kinda weird but just wondering if u know how to because i need to learn a different way how to.

you use syllables. like "ta ka" or "do goo" depending on what instrument you play. using the tip of your tongue and the back of it, like when you say those syllables youll know what i mean by that. but Trumpet players generally speaking use the syllables "ta ka" for double tonguing.

I switched to French horn on Wednesday and my trumpet already hates me. stressed But as much as I hate to say it, playing F horn is like my life dream realized. lol
Anyway, has any of you fine people switched from trumpet to F horn?

We Just Had Our Chair Tests And I'm Tied To First Chair With A Friend Of Mine. I Trutfully Want To Be Third Chair Again, But...PEOPLE ARE PLOTTING AGAINST ME. O_O; I'm Claustrophobic So I Get Nervous Easily..It Annoy's Me! But I'm Trying My Hardest Out There. It's No Big Deal Since I Don't Care What Chair I Am Anyways...I Just Don't Want To Be Stuck With The Poor Losers..

and unfortunatly im first chair in the 8th grade band even though im in 6th...i dont even go to the school i play in so ppl hate me...and advice to help make ppl not hate me...(im not a very social person)
