I can update the indexes, since you seem to have quite a bit to do as is. Same for opening the submissions thread.

I opened the submissions thread, and we have submissions and/or promises of submissions. Prisma, I think, also mentioned something about the advertising?

Hum, apparently people I don't even know respect me. I will now have to institute a plan to catch them, tag their ears, and release them back into the wild. Seriously, I need to find some way to turn my Internet assery into a paying job.

Lillian Ashe I opened the submissions thread, and we have submissions and/or promises of submissions. Prisma, I think, also mentioned something about the advertising? Hm. Advertising. I guess we can start looking for stuff, and investigate the charity she mentioned as a possible sponser. Fees seem to be scaring people. What if we tried it without at first? Or perhaps if we did just like Gaia! Offer a bonus for donators? How would that work? Hm... Anyway. Thank you Lilly! I've decided that I'll make the submissions and such my priority and worry about the Indexes once I have more time, so they can wait if you'd like to create more free time for yourself. I had planned on having Internet this past week while at my mom's, but it didn't happen. I'll have tonight and some of tomorrow, then my Internet will be majorly curtailed. I plan to copy all the submissions currently in the thread and take them with me to read and such. Anyway, I hired two new people, one Reviewer/Critic and a Critic. I think it's time to make a thread for the Critic's Corner, so let me go do that now. It should make things much easier. 3nodding At a later date, we might think of ways to better welcome visitors and new empoyees. Like an Introductions thread or whatever. But later. For now, lets concentrate on the incoming submissions and perhaps finding possible advertising venues. Long, involved stories, betas, charities... you know what to look for.

Well, we do actually have the send to friendslist ability. So we could concievable do a paying customer/donator version of the mag that has extra goodness or something.
I think we could do a bio section where we feature employees of the mag. This of course will attract more people to actually work for us as they'll want to have their "moment in the spotlight."
That and we should probably just create a thread somewhere that just has a list of who does what and such.
Such as Editor and Chief Senior Editor Editor Columnist Artist Reviewer Ex-Employee
This way we just have that list so that we actually know who works around here.
I think a Welcome to the Gaian Press thread would be swell as well, which could also perhaps have the list from above or something similar.

Like Staff Spotlight, Jaho? I think we still have a Dev-banner for that. If you want to create a thread listing who does what and all, I wish you luck. Well, some stuff will be easy. You're columnist, Rushifa's reviewer, etc. But then you get to the no-job-specified people like me.

Nice recruits. Which reminds me.
To all new recruits and everybody else: This month, and perhaps most of the summer, might be strange. Serieve, I believe, will not be around until the end of June? I have summer school and a tendency to get myself grounded off the computer. In other words, we need you new staffies more than ever.

No-job-specified people seem more to be running around as editors. Ok, well I did a little clean up work in locking columnist threads that are no longer around. And I started working on the spotlight, which also should double nicely as a Hiring Tool as well. Added some rudimentary job descriptions to some of the positions as well. Feel free to add things.

PM Serieve, dear.
Do we have to be critics to post critiques?
