Aurora woke slowly, her eyes opening and blinking. A bit of confusion settled upon her brain when she realized that, while she was looking at the ceiling, and it wasn't any farther than normal, it seemed unusually hard to breathe this morning. It wasn't her nose, so she did not have a cold. Her thoat did not feel constricted, so it could not be that.
Ah.
Altan was sitting on her chest (and stomach, really), staring at her. When recognition was able to be felt through their finnicky connection, he chuckled at her. Well, that took longer than I thought it would. I have been sitting here for... The Sphinx glanced at the clock. Fifteen minutes. Your alarm went off four minutes ago. With a smile, he asked, Would you like me to awaken Caroline? She is still sleeping, from the looks of it.
Aurora just blinked, and Altan jumped deftly from her bed all the way onto Caroline. He couldn't seem to tell where her head was, so he simply sat down upon what was identifiable as a part of her body through the covers.
The actions of her familiar caused Aurora to shake her head, but she rose up and took out a uniform. It was time to get dressed and face the day. She would leave Caroline alone if the dragon-girl was not awake by the time she was ready, or take her with if she was, and then she would get a small breakfast (perhaps just an orange today) before finding Evermore to join in on the meditation session.

Ares woke, once again, alone in Evermore's room. He wasn't sure if he should be disappointed or not. He really ought to try getting up earlier, but he never seemed to be able to. Oh well. He could just go see--or not. Upon finding her aura, it was obvious that there were others in the room with her--had it just been Ari, he would have gone anyway, but with this new person, he could not.

{{Well, everyone else seems to be gone for the time being, so I'm going to break Ever away just for a little bit. She'll be back! biggrin }}
Ever stretched and got up from her mat. "I am really thirsty, you guys. So I'm going to go out into the hall and get a drink from the water fountain. I'll be back soon. Maybe I'll see Aurora or Akira out there."
With that said, Ever smiled at the two girls and then headed out of the meditation room, closing the door softly behind her. The water fountain was just down the corridor a little bit, in the corner at the end of the hall.
Once there, she pushed the large circle button and began drinking the wonderful water that Bai Ching offered, even in their water fountains.

When Ares felt Evermore leave the room--well, he thought she had, anyway, though he couldn't really feel how her surroundings were, just her aura--he perked up slightly and appeared next to her at the... Drinking fountain. Okay, whatever. "Well, hello there."

Ever suddenly heard the low voice beside her and she inhaled in surprise. Unfortunately, she was still drinking water, so the water went up the back of her throat and into her nose.
Ever's eyes began to water and she shoved away from the water fountain as she began to cough violently.

Dammit. "You okay?" he demanded, grabbing her and patting her on the back, being careful not to be too rough.

After a few more moments of violent coughing, Ever's coughing finally seemed to settle down enough to where she could talk in between light coughs. She nodded and began to wipe away the tears from her eyes.
"Yeah, sure. Other than choking on freaking water in front of the God of War? Yeah, I'm doing good."

Caroline didn't even notice Altan had jumped on her, she was sleeping so deeply. Even her thoughts were nothing more than white noise, with occasional flickers of her family - her brother, her mom and her dad, her grandparents, and Uncle Ophi - and some of the servants employed at their house (a very nice, large house). It was apparent she was dreaming about her family. After all, her oldest brother said he would try and come to Bai Ching sometime today, to help her apologize to Miss Rose.

Ari sighed as she felt Ever leave the room. Smiling in the general direction of the student, she began her poses again. "So..." she grunted, "... how do you like Bai Ching so far?"

And Ophiuchus, in theory, should have been back at MFHS - but he wasn't. He DID go back though, and buried the glass bloom just Lin asked of him. He was so proud of her for that. It was important in life, to be able to know when you had to let go.
And now, he found himself quietly strolling into Bai Ching's infirmary, ignoring any strange looks or whispers the girls were surely creating. He wanted to see Lin, see if she was doing better. And, maybe if she needed assistance with those assignments. Maybe anything she wanted from the library or something. You know, just... helping out.

Just a few moments after Ophiuchus entered the infirmary, Mei Mei was there in front of him, smiling cheerfully.
"Hello, Professor Akakios! It's such a nice surprise to see you here! May I help you?"

Ophi smiled politely at the nurse. "I'm here to see how Miss Yin is doing today," he said. "I'm very worried for her. Where is she?"

She nodded and began to wipe away the tears from her eyes. "Yeah, sure. Other than choking on freaking water in front of the God of War? Yeah, I'm doing good." Ares laughed at her, short and genially. "That's good. At least it wasn't air. That would be even more sad."

Ever groaned and straightened back up completely. Her coughing had finally stopped. She looked up at Ares with a scowl on her face.
"What do you want now, Ares? To try and get me to choke just so that you can rub it in my face?"

Ares rolled his eyes. "Does everything have to be about annoying you? Did it ever occur to you that I might just be bored?"
