"Well... Let's see what we can find," Jack stated, breaking the silence and heading for the stairs. It was kind of creepy to think that just this morning they were all hanging out on the deck, the only concern being how they would pass the time until they got to the next town...

Temari sighed before she shook her head lightly, a soft smile forming along her lips now. "Ah, I see then." She told him before she reached up and kissed his neck quickly, returning to the place against his chest, holding onto him happily. "Okay, I can do that."
Hitomi furrowed her brow before opening her mouth, as if to contradict his earlier statement. But before she had a chance to, he jumped in with a tale of how the metahumans were cured of the 'disease' that plagued them with their supernatural abilities. She blinked slowly before she took in a soft breath. "So, you have no where to go now?" She asked him, finding that more concerning than the later statements he had made.
Kirara looked at Hitomi and Hostreak for a moment longer before her eyes shifted in the direction of Gear. "Why not? They seem pretty compatible to me..." She whispered back to him, making sure to keep her voice low, but still pretty casual, so they wouldn't suspect anything for the time being.

"No, I do," Hotstreak replied, staring back up at the sky. "This crap little apartment in a town further than I'd ever gone from my hometown, before. The guy that runs it said I could stay there so long as I worked for him. Just before I got here, though, we lost a couple rooms to a fire. Don't say anythin', it wasn't me that did it; some sort of electrical short was what the firemen guessed."
"Why doesn't anyone listen when I say that guy's bad news...?" Gear wondered for a moment. "For as long as I've known him, all he's ever done when it comes to people is yell and fight. It's no stretch of imagination that he'd end up bein' the kind of guy that beats his girlfriend!" he replied, keeping it a whisper. Because he was talking at the same time Hotstreak was, he missed hearing about the apartment and what really set fire to it.

Inuyasha smiled 'that was close' he thought to himself "Temari. so how about we go on our date alone like you wanted to. Im sure Emil's weird pet thing doesnt mind taking care of the kids"

Temari smiled before nodding up at Inuyasha, kissing his cheek quickly before hugging him once more. "Of course! That sounds most enjoyable!"
Hitomi put up her hands in a slightly defensive position, sweatdropping as she chuckled dryly to herself. "Um, I wasn't going to. So no worries about that." She replied to him quickly. "But that's nice of the owner, to let you stay in his building in exchange for doing work. What do you have to do anyway?"
"But he's not yelling, or fighting with Hitomi right now." Kirara whispered back to him before she blinked at Gear, gasping silently when he said his later statement. "Oh no! He wouldn't do that to Hitomi, now would he?!" She asked him, glancing over at Hotstreak with a slightly worried expression now.

((Sorry for just leaving like that yesterday. There was a big thunder storm and it cut my internet connection off until 11 this morning. I've been having all sorts of issues with my computer lately. sweatdrop ))

dragon_fire_313 Rosette giggled gently as she let herself be kissed by Alucard as well as his hand envelope itself in her long, blond hair. She blinked slowly before nodding, understanding his words as soon as he spoke them. "Well I'm glad that you're okay to begin with, I'm just happy that I didn't lose you or the like." She told him, pushing that thought far from her memory as soon as she could.

((Ouch, poor Kiki. Well, the bright side is now you know what's been screwing with your comp!))
"Just the usual, grunt work," Hotstreak replied. "Mopin' floors, changin' light bulbs, doin' the laundry... Basically anythin' that needed doin' that no one else felt like. He's kinda paranoid, so he doesn't pay attention to the news. Probably why he let me stay in the first place; didn't know who I was. Good thing, too, 'cause I'm tryin' to keep a low profile back home, and I don't wanna be badgered about free heating."
"Well, he's not mad, right now," Gear easily explained. "Why wouldn't he? He's hit pretty much everyone else he's ever met! The only reason he's behaving now is 'cause this is a whole huge group that's proven they can easily deal with him."
"You certainly have a point," Kain replied, with a nod. The idea of a talking bean was certainly an interesting one... and he thought he'd seen everything there was to see. "Demons have a different definition in my world... It's as if the humans think anything that can defend itself against them is a demon," he added, with a soft smirk. Such simple creatures they were...

((It'll be kinda weird role playing with someone who isn't there... but I suppose, since she doesn't know when she'll be back, I'll have to.))
"Kain," the vampire introduced, simply. It still felt a little odd to introduce himself... In Nosgoth, he was so well known that he simply hadn't needed to for thousands of years.
Jack and Kikyo continued to explore the downed airship, leaving no room unchecked. At one point Jack even pulled his goggles up, scanning rooms too dark for the human eye. Nothing turned up; no heat signatures, minute electrical disturbances, not even a scrap of clothing. Well, if they couldn't find anything, the albino continued to insist, that must mean that anyone left must have still been able to get off the ship, either before or after it landed.

"A while ago," Kain replied, seemingly uninterested in Sora. It wasn't anything against the boy (yet), it was just how he acted. "Before we met up with most of the others that have been here before, even."
