"True, but it seems like more of them are wanting to keep to themselves more than anything. Take Kain for example. He's said, what, three sentences the entire time he's been here?" Jack replied, landing. He had missed it when the vampire had given his not so little speech on events in his life. The albino scanned the outside, looking for signs of instability on the ship's exterior and any signs of life.
((And because Mavs has gone to bed, that's as much as I'll be posting for Jack, tonight.))

Temari quirked a brow at this before she stepped out of his grasp, moving her arms from around his waist to let themselves cross across her chest. "Hm? And what's that supposed to mean exactly, Inuyasha?" She asked him with a questioning stare.
Rosette giggled gently as she let herself be kissed by Alucard as well as his hand envelope itself in her long, blond hair. She blinked slowly before nodding, understanding his words as soon as he spoke them. "Well I'm glad that you're okay to begin with, I'm just happy that I didn't lose you or the like." She told him, pushing that thought far from her memory as soon as she could.
Kirara then let go of Sora and bounded over to her other friend, Gear, and hugged him happily. She giggled gently before she let go of him, clearly happy that he was okay from the attack by the two demons. "Hi Gear! Are you talking of your hidden powers to Rosie-chan?" She asked him, her two tails swaying happily.
"I don't make a big deal of it at all." Hitomi told Hotstreak as she cocked her head to the side slightly, staring down at him in a cheerful manner. "I actually like sleeping outside out here and just enjoying the sights about me. The stars on Quasar are always glistening and the skies are almost always so clear that you could spot many constellations all at once. You like to sleep outside a lot I take it then, Hotstreak?"

"Hey, Kirara," Gear replied, grinning. "Her and Marta, actually. I was wonderin' if I got a new power. If I do, I'd like to know what it is and how to use it... but don't know how to find out."
"Feh, it didn't really matter whether I liked to or not, sometimes..." Hotstreak replied, with a small frown. "Crooks can't always find a decent place to stay, y'know? I mean, sure, sometimes we'd find places no one was usin', but it's hard to get an apartment or somethin' when your face is all over the news every so often..."

Hitomi sat down beside him at this point, keeping some distance between them though, so she wouldn't be like she was invading his 'personal bubble', so something like that. She tugged down the hem of her skirt only slightly before she rested her body weight on her hand, whose arm was propped out behind her. She then glanced up at the sky for a moment with a light sigh. "So you spent a great deal on the run, doing whatever you needed to to survive, even making allies with those you wouldn't have wanted to in the first place. Am I right?" She asked him before she glanced down at him.
Kirara blinked at him before nodding, baring her fangs as she grinned at him. "Well I found out my power during a battle. I guess for some, it'll show when you need it most. But apparently for others, it's just...random." She replied to him with a giggle.

"Not exactly..." Hotstreak began, trying to think of how best to put it. "I was always a crook, even before the Big Bang; just not a very well known one. After getting my powers, sure, there were a couple of people I'd rather not have rolled with, but most people in the Metabreed... Well, we just got each other a lot better than any normal person couldda." Why was he even talking about this? Time for a subject change... "What about you? What was your life like before coming here?"
"That's reassuring..." Gear sarcastically replied, with a grin. "I've already had Backpack run a bunch of scans on me, but nothing is that out of the ordinary... So if I do have a new power, it's really good at hiding."

Hitomi thought to herself as she looked up from him and up to the sky once more, sighing heavily at the thought of home. "On my Earth? Uh," She began as she furrowed her eyebrows in remembrance. "I don't know, I was a normal high school scholar. I got good marks and ran on my school's track team. I don't know, my life was pretty boring really. Well, I would always show my friends their futures through my tarot readings, but back then, it was more of a game. Instead of reading a person's future, and knowing what will happen to them." She told him, figuring it best not the discuss about her adventures with Van and the others just yet.
Kirara giggled once more, her tails swaying back and forth in a fluid motion before she nodded. "Well, my power was to change into a human and to hold that form. But it's only for limited periods of time. So I go into my kitten form to 'charge up' as you humans say." She told him with a smile.

"What? You can't have done nothing," Hostreak insisted, tilting his head to look at Hitomi. "You're too good at fighting to have only done track and fortune telling."
"Oh, so that's why you're sometimes that cute little cat thing around the others," Gear realized, with a nod. "It must be frustrating, being able to understand everyone but unable to say anything..."

Hitomi glanced down at him, shrugging her shoulders lightly as the corners of her mouth tilted upwards in a slight smile. "Well there is that one time where I got teleported toe the planet of Gaea, to help the king Van. On that planet though, you could actually see Earth; which is called the Mystic Moon. And they thought I was some sort of prophetess from there. The adventures I have now are actually quite similar to those that I've had on that planet in the past. It's quite comforting actually..." She told him before chuckling to herself. "Well, there I go rambling on once more. Sorry for boring you with my tales, Hotsreak."
"Mmhm, that's exactly why Gear!" Kirara exclaimed as she clasped her hands together, nodding vigorously, like she would if she was a child. But at his next question, her ears merely perked up, cocking her head to the side. She looked confused, almost as if she didn't understand his words. "Nyuu~?" She asked him before grinning sheepishly. "True, but it's always been that way, since the human form is still so new, so I don't really mind all that much now."

"Sounds kinda cool, actually..." Hotstreak replied. It would be cool to seem like such an important person to other people. Fear wasn't quite the same as respect... "And what do ya mean boring? You had an adventure a lot like this one before, and people thought you were some sort of important prophet. Me, I was just a thug leading a gang, then got fire powers and became sort of a part of a different gang."
"So you were already used to it... Still, at least people can actually get to know you now, right?"

"Well at least you had the qualities to lead a group of people with no fear. See? These are the kinds of things I envy of you. I could never have enough courage to do what you do on your world at all." Hitomi commented as she smiled down to him lightly.
"I was a cat remember?" Kirara told him before laughing. "Yes! Now I get to meet all sorts of new friends and communicate with them better as my friends! Like you!"

Pirogoeth shrugged. "I guess one could view us as such. After all, we did both risk our own lives to save the other one when I found out about Moh. Neither wanted the other to get hurt, so we both tried to fight him alone..."
Kikyo nodded. "I have heard very little from him, and something about him I just cannot trust..." She took a few steps away from Jack when they landed and looked around, also trying to find any sign of life. Sure, her main goal was to locate Link, but if she stumbled upon Vyse then that would be equally good.
Oomizu nodded. "I'm guess ing you're the kind who's mind twitches when some one asks or says something incredibly stupid, huh? Same here. Count yourself lucky Largo broke the gate that conects his and Piro-kun's world to this one. Piro-kun was nice (and patient), but Largo..." She cringed and shivered at the thought.

"It's not like it's hard," Hotstreak replied, shrugging as best he could while using his arms as a pillow. "I just yelled at 'em a lot and beat up anyone who got outta line. Here, we fight monsters and entire armies, sometimes entire armies of monsters. Now what do you think is scarier; fighting an army of monsters, or yelling at people?"
Gear chuckled a bit. "Yup, friends. Huh... I wonder how my best friend from back home is doin' without me...?"
"In Nosgoth, the stupid die; quickly," Kain replied, bluntly. "And those that somehow live are used by those more intelligent."

"Well, if those people that I'm yelling at have powers like I but shorter fuses, then I'd take on the army of monsters any day." Hitomi told him with a laugh, moving out her feet in front of her, kicking her feet at the grass blades that were all around her. "You certainly have a lot of confidence in yourself and your abilities to keep powerful teenagers, but teenagers all the same, in line."
"You're best friend?" Kirara asked, blinking up at him in a curious way. "Ooh~? Who's that again?"

Oomizu coughed lightly and mumbled something, but surely Kain would hear her saying "If only that were the case here." "Again, be thankful Largo can't be here. One of his proudest tale of when he was here the first time they saved this planet was when he, Mom, and Deidara had been captured and put in a cell when Largo decided to try and break them out. So, he found things laying around and trid building something... and it exploded. He fell through the floor into the wine cellar and broke both his legs, so they had to move Mom and DeiDei into the next cell while they left Largo down there to drink himself stupid...er. Appernetly, Inuyasha had to jump down through the hole and carry Largo out on his back." Oomizu flinched and suddenly hld her head like she was in pain. "Gosh, it still hurts my mind thinking about it. It's like I can feel the brain cells dieing."

"I only ran the gang when I was normal," Hotstreak replied, realizing he might not have made that entirely clear. "Ebon was the one callin' nearly all the shots in the Metabreed, and that is one guy you don't wanna mess with... Doesn't mean I didn't, but still. I was more of a solo-act than anything after the Big Bang..."
"His hero name's Static. We've known each other for almost all our lives, though," Gear explained, smiling. "He's cool, and so is his dad. I was over their house more than my own, sometimes. His sister even joked more than once that I oughtta be payin' them rent!" he added, with a small laugh.
The ancient vampire blinked. "Such a being can exist?" he wondered. Aloud, he replied, "Well, it certainly does seem fortunate that this Largo and I have not crossed paths..."
