With my cloned, brainwashed super-gradys, it should be a breeze to conquer the world. Being that they are brainwashed and all, they have no sense of identity, just instincts, destructive nature, and the understanding to obey their master.. Raising and building up an actual army of free-willed soldiers can be an issue, one can never be too sure they would follow my orders when it comes time to invade the major-sized countries, such as Russia, Asia, and Europe for example.. Besides, with an army of clones, I can sacrifice a few hundred of the imperfect clones (there are always a few which never turn out quite right), to give my enemies a psychological degree of false security, when they think their soldiers are starting to actually win the war, then when they overextend their forces, I send in the super gradys.. Surprise surprise, they shoot plasma out of their eyes!

Well, that could be used as well, but as a cavalry, rather than an army. That way you'd be able to have a load of paladins atop them.
...or do you think that'd be overkill?

Nah, if you used those, people would know you were evil. At least if you used Paladins and brainwashed them to do your bidding, people would think "Oh hey, those giant robot-dinosaurs are being ridden by paladins. That means they're here to save us!"
And then stuff happens and the people won't be particuarly pleased.
