I told dark i would be an impartial judge, and so i will be. Let me hear an unselfish reason why special circunstances should Be made. I never said that everybbody else would have a max of six characters, that is based off a misinterpretation of a Previous post i hade made. I believe that it is far better to have each rule apply to everyone regardless of status than it Is for said rules to apply only to certain people and others get to ignore them. That's government. No one is special.

Special circumstances: Someone wants to try out a canon character for an arc before committing to said character. The MAX would still be 6, period, and no one would be allowed to have more than 4 canons. They would be an experienced RPer, active, and be under their limit at the time of request. If they wanted to keep that character, they would be allowed no more than 2 OCs.

No one would be allowed more than 6 total in one RP, and if they only wanted to stay in one RP, they would need to sign off on letting someone else play their canon(s) in the other RP. I like the DC RP, but I don't have time to play WW in the YJ RP on top of the DC RP. The role of WW would be open for someone else to play in the YJ RP.

Personally, I have no interest in more than 3 canon characters. I don't have time for it right now, and no other Canons interest me. Heck, I took on WW mainly as a favor to Dark! And, in case I didn't make it clear enough already, I am COMPLETELY in favor of imposing limits. I thought the 8 character per RP limit was too lenient when it was first added! Six is much easier to manage than 8, and by only allowing someone 3-4 canon characters, it keeps the older members from hoarding lots of main canons.

Yes. THAT'S a reasonable idea. No more than 3-4 CANON characters, total. 2 for new members, 3 for experienced members, and 4 for someone that has proven they can handle the responsibility. As long as we don't go f*cking NUTS making OCs willy nilly, why should we be forced to cut them? If it becomes a problem, a limit on OCs might need to be drafted as a result (a max of 4-6 still sounds like a good idea in that case). Older members aren't hoarding canons, original content potential isn't limited or curtailed, and a join-and-run member won't create a huge impact overall. That's an idea I can stand by.

In addition, since participation in both RPs is such an issue, if someone has a canon character in one RP that they don't want to participate with in the other, that character will be up for grabs as a single RP exclusive. Using my case as an example, I'd play WW in the DC RP, but someone else might play her in the YJ RP if I decide not to join.

However, if the owner of a canon in one RP decides they want to join the other RP with that character after all, and the position in the other RP has NOT already been filled, they will be free to cross that canon with the other RP and as a result the opening for that character in both RPs will be considered filled. If the position HAS been filled, well, they had their chance. Unless the other RPer quits, they're out of luck.

No one is special, which is why I suggest that EVERYONE is gradually limited to 6 characters per RP, participation in the other RP regardless!
