Still grinning, Chase was waiting for the exact moment to move.
Kimiko, more than a little startled, looked this way and that, not sure where the first attack was going to come from.

Kikyo and Deidara kept focussing on the bulding they had aimed at, not seeming to have been phased in the least b movement.
Largo, on the other hand, cursed really loudly and freaked out. He held his little machine up, aiming at one monster for a few seconds, then turning at another, not sure what to do.

one of the building twitched as a giant tongue came out of it and pointed at Chase/Jack, the ground under him moved violently as a giant spike started to raise at a pretty fast speed from the ground

With an elegant back-flip (or at least as elegant as he could get with Jack's body), Chase dodged the attack.
((And he'd do more (like fight back), but I recently found out I'm going to have to get up in about six hours, so I'm off to bed! Night, everyone!))

Kikyo saw the attac towards Jack and forgot about Chase. She turned around, lowering her bow and arrow. "Jack, look out!" She saw he had gotten out of the way and tried to quickly pick up her lost positioning for defense.

Meowth looked around nervously, bearing his claws. The Shadow Ball Curse was starting to hurt him. "Im so stupid..why'd I seal it inside myself....well I do have more poer now..." he thought. He looked at Kimiko and then looked down around to see if any of them got too close.
Wobbuffet patiently waited for an attack as he casted Safeguard to protect the group from any possible status damaging projectiles they would throw. "Wobba." he said.

Viral drew his katana, and sharpened the claws on his left hand. "Well, seems as though I'l finally be able to show off my Spiral Power!" He shouted as a spiralling green energy started at his feet
Abel drew his pistol, and aimed a few shots at the new creatures. "I KNEW something was bad about this town!" He shouted as he kept firing

Link looked at the buildings and took off the mask "Ok.... I have fought things bigger then this!." he said as he rushed at the building with his sword fully drawn.

Chase drew the sword that Link had given to Jack, and began hacking at some of the spikes and anything else that got near him.
Kimiko "eeped" quietly, dodging the spikes as best she could while sending fireballs at the spikes, the monsters firing them, and the monsters off on the sides, as well.
